Chapter Four

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~Chapter Four~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Willow followed Dean to his room to meet Sammy. Nervous did not even begin the describe her. Hopefully Sam would like her. Dean took out the key card and unlocked the door.

"Wait here for a minute." Dean told her and then went inside. She waited and took a deep breath to calm her nerves.

When Dean went inside, he didn't see Sammy anywhere, but could hear him in the bathroom. Drying his hair, Sam came out of the bathroom.

"Hey where did you get off to last night?" Sammy asked with a grin.

"Met a girl last night at the Roadhouse. I want you to meet her."

Sam was in shock. When Dean spends a night with a girl, he sleeps with them, and then just leaves them in the morning... Sometimes sooner. This girl must be special if Dean wants him to meet the girl.

"She knew dad and knows about the things that go bump in the night."

"She knew dad? How?" Sam sat down on the bed and sighed.

Dean told him about the Cleveland headquarters’ and how Dad went there for help locating the demon.

"She was devastated when I told her about Dad. They got close.”

"So, let’s see this girl." Sammy asked him.

Dean went out the door and came back with a small red haired woman. Sam took a good long look at her. Red shoulder length hair, brown jacket, and jeans. She looked nervous and did not look a thing the like the girls Dean was usually with.

In a small voice, she asked; "So you’re Sammy?"

"Yeah that me." Sammy shook hands with her.

Dean knew then that Sammy approved of her because usually when someone calls him Sammy, he makes a big point to correct them and make sure that he is called Sam.

"So you knew our dad…" Sammy asked her

"Yeah. He was a great guy." Willow told him.

"So you guys want to get some lunch? I worked up quite an appetite last night."

"Yeah I could use some food." Willow said with a blush and a smile.

Sam stood up and grabbed his wallet. "There's a diner down the road." He wanted to talk with Willow more and hear more about how she knew their dad.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When they got out of the impala, Dean grabbed Willow 's hand.
There were not too many people inside the diner, just a few truckers. They found a booth and Willow and Dean sat on one side and Sam at the other.
A few minutes later, a tall brunet came up to the table. She put some menus down in front of them. “So what do ya guys like to drink?"
She kept looking at Dean, as if he was a piece of meat that she could have. It was driving Willow crazy. Willow so wanted to tell the waitress to back off… or maybe just use a little static electricity to give her a little zap… "I’ll have a coke."
After Sam ordered his drink, he decided to start his friendly questioning. "So Willow where are you from?"
"Originally from Sunnydale, California, but now we live at Watcher headquarters’ in Cleveland. It’s on top of another Hellmouth."
"Wow!" Sam said. He could not believe the way she had said it. Willow sounded like she was just talking about an everyday occurrence.
"Yeah."
The waitress came back with their drinks looked at Dean again. Willow shot her a look and grabbed Dean's hand. Dean smirked at Willow and leaned in to kiss her neck. She looked at the waitress and she could see that man stealer was jealous. The waitress made a disappointed face and finally took their orders and walked off. Willow kept on smiling.
During all of this, Sam was looking at Dean and Willow. He had never seen Dean this happy, this content, before.
"So, Dean told me you knew Dad. How did you meet him?"
Willow told Sam what she told Dean last night. "He told me a lot about you guys. He loved you guys so much."
They were quite until the waitress came back with the food.
"How come your not in Cleveland with your friends?"
"Oh...I uh...Needed a couple days to myself." Willow said, while fiddling nervously with her hair. She really didn’t want to talk about Kennedy.
"Why? What happened?" Sam asked curiously.
"Sam." Dean said with look at Sam. Dean looked at Willow and knew something was wrong, but she obviously didn't want to talk about it.
"Its ok. I needed to get away because someone I thought loved me, cheated on me with someone else." She looked out the window with a pain expression on her face.
"Oh… umm… sorry." He wondered who could ever cheat on Willow. She’s so nice and sweet. He was glad that Dean found her, plus she knew about the supernatural world, which was always a bonus.
Willow excused herself to go to the ladies’ room. When Willow was far enough away Sam turned to Dean and looked serious.
"So, she coming with us then?" Sam asked him.
Dean looked at Sam and sighed. "No."
"Have you told her that yet?” Sam asked, knowing the answer already.
"No, but I'm going to tell her back at the hotel."
"How do you think she'll take it?" Sam asked.
"Most likely angry and sad, but I can't have her with us Sam. Wish I could, but I’d worry too much about her. I know she can take care of herself, but I'm afraid that the demon would target her like he did with mom and Jess." Dean said leaning back into the seat, thinking about how he's going to explain that to Willow.
Willow came bouncing back to the table with a huge smile. "Why so quite?"
"Just didn’t feel like talking." Dean told her with a smile. When they finished eating their food, they headed back out. The way back to the hotel was silence.
"We need to talk." Dean told her. Willow didn't like the way he said that. Sentences like that were never good.
“Okay.”
