Chapter 4
CHAPTER 4
Andrew 2 the Rescue
Xander woke up the following day feeling rather happy. Spike maybe out of the picture, but he felt a little better. He gets into the shower and sings to himself. He gets out of the shower and gets dressed. After sliping into his pants the phone rings. He slips a shirt on and picks it up.
"Hello?," Xander says.
"Xander, it's...it's me..." Anya said sounding very unsure of herself.
"Hiya, Ahn..."
"Look, um...I called because I'd like to know something. Is this liking guys thing permanent? I mean if you get tired of it would you consider women again? Just a thought I've been thinking. You know me, always thinkin..."
"Yeah...and this isn't some fad Anya...I really like guys now. Not much can change that."
"Oh, of course not, that's silly of me to think so. This world we live in is ever changing and always becoming more and more confusing. Its stupid. The people who are having fun these days are the ones who don't think about genders, they just have lots of orgasms with many kinds of people. Why can't you be like that? Why should a prefernce stop you from---"
"Ahn, as much fun as our discussions can be...please don't finnish this one, ok?"
"Oh of course, you wouldn't want me to say anything coarse or not humanlike, right Xander? It would be politically incorrect, right?"
"Ahn, I..."
"Good-bye Xander."
Click. And then came the fun sound of the dial tone. Xander frowns and hangs up the phone. He walks out solemnly to his car and makes his way for Buffy's place. He walks on inside. He was greeted by Dawn who smiled at him.
"Hey Xander" Dawn said.
"Hey Dawnster." Xander said as he walks on into the living room. Xander sits down on the couch. Buffy walks into the living room and smiles some seeing her friend.
"Hey Xand" Buffy said as she sits next to him. "What brings you to my neck of the woods? Don't you have construction stuff to do? Aren't you needed somewhere?"
"Ah, no. It's my day off."
"Oh, that's cool. Ya know Spike's been around asking for you. He seemed kinda down, which was actually kinda funny. Funny 'cause he was asking for you...and you two used to...ya know hate eachother."
"Yeah, I get the funny of it. But he'd rather see some skanky vampire guy. Not me. I was thinkin of hanging out with Andrew for the day..."
Andrew pops his head out with a big grin on his face.
"What did you have in mind to do, Xander" said Andrew.
"I don't know, possibly a little sci-fi convention thats in town and then maybe a movie" said Xander.
"You had me at sci-fi convention!" Andrew says and turns to Buffy, "Is it really really ok?"
"Yeah," Buffy said deflated, "It's really really ok. Now go before I change my mind."
