In the end, they went with black. Big surprise there.
“This sucks, Spike! Why black? I hate black! Why not the pink?”
A single, scarred eyebrow lift. “Pink? You must be bloody insane!”
Whining, Xander sidles up to his lover. “But it tastes better, please Spike?”
“No, Xan! I am not going to spend money on something pink! Now come on.”
Embarrassed, Xander ducks his head while Spike checks out. “Good choice!” The salesgirl leers at Spike.
“He wanted pink.” Spike laughs and grabs Xander’s hand, dragging him out of the candy store. “Pink jellybeans. Really, Xan!”
