"You can go!"


"No, you can go!"


Waking up by the loud noice, Xander slowly opened his eyes.
He glanced at the watch on the nightstand and saw that it was already 4.30p.m.


"Why didn´t you wake me up?" A sleepily Xander asked his two lovers.


"You were sleeping so peacefully, so we didn´t want to wake you." Angel replied.


"If you didn´t want to wake me up, then why were you making so much noice.
About what were you arguing anyway?" Xander then heard the doorbell ringing and he knew what their argument was about.


"Don´t worry guys, you can lie back down if you want. I will go and answer the doorbell. It will probably be just Sharee and Keanu." Xander announced and got up from the bed.


"They better have not lost their keys again." Spike declared irritated.


Xander put on his trousers and a shirt and walked down the stairs when again the doorbell rang.


"Yeah, yeah I´m coming." Xander called and walked to the frontdoor. While opening the door he began talking.

"I hope for you two that the reason that you are ringing is not that you have lost your keys. Your father is..." Xander stopped because as the door was fully opened the figure standing before him on the doorstep was not one of his kids.
It was a police officer.

"Oh, I´m sorry, I thought you were somebody else." Xander explained.


"I already thought that. I´m police officer Messer. Can I come in, please?"


"Of course you can." Xander said and led the officer into the living room.

"Can I bring you something? A coffee or a tea maybe?" Xander offered politely.


"No, thanks. I think it would be for the best if you would sit yourself down."
The officer said.


"Okay. So, how can I help you?" Xander queried while sitting down on the couch.


"Yeah officer, how can we help you?"
Angel, who had just come down with Spike, after they had noticed that Xander wasn´t coming back up again, wanted to know. They too sat themselves down on the couch next to Xander.


"I don´t know how to tell you this excatly but I´m here because of your children. They..." Before the officer could continue he was stopped by Spike.


"What have they done this time? Have they damaged anything in the school building, or so? Or have they..." But Spike also couldn´t finish speaking because he was interrupted by Xander.


"Let officer Messer finish speaking, Spike!
Please go on officer."


"Alright. We got an alarm signal from one of the schoolbus driver.
We directly began driving the usual route of the bus up and down. After half an hour we had finally found the bus.
The bus wasn´t damaged or anything but when we got into it we saw that all the kids and the bus driver himself were unconsious. So we brought them to a hospital.
After they had woken up the doctor examined them and stated that they were allright.
The bus driver then told us that he was driving his route like every other school day when suddenly a high sound could be heard and he smelled gas.
He brought the bus to a halt and then activated the alarm before he was unconsious." The police officer informed them.


"And at which hospital are my kids now?" Xander asked because he really wanted to go to his children, he felt that hey needed him right now.


"There is one thing I haven´t told you. When we arrived at the bus, we noticed that two seats were empty. It were the seats of your children."
