Soft hair, heavy thighs.
Moans and grunts fill the air, along with the scent of blood.
A childe is being born and the sire is anxious in his eagerness. His childe will be strong. He will be beautiful.
A single heartbeat stops and panic fills the soul of the demon left behind.
Will Xander be the same? The orb is nearby, ready to be used, but still Spike trembles.
Soon, his lover will join with him for eternity. Their souls will mesh and their lives will be one.
Brown eyes flutter open and a crooked smile appears. “Sire.”
A kiss.
