It had been about a week and Buffy hadn’t seen Faith once, she knew why she was avoiding her,
and in the same position she would have stayed out of sight as well, but she missed her,
even though Buffy was never going to admit it, she really liked the brunette, she saw Faith
as the cool and collected slayer, with a dark edge to her, that made her so intriguing, she
always loved to hang out with her.
Ever since Buffy found out about Willow and Faith sleeping together, she felt a surprisingly big
amount of anger towards her best friend, one of the reason’s is because her friend cheated on
her boyfriend and used the dark slayer in the process, Buffy knew that there was also another
reason for her anger, but she couldn’t figure out what that reason was, it was confusing the
blonde to no end, and it was effecting her performance as a slayer.
Buffy had been patrolling for about an hour now, and there was no sign of any vampires or demons,
which she was secretly thankful for as she didn’t trust her slayer skills right now. As Buffy walked
into the second grave yard she spotted a figure in the dark, a woman’s figure, she wasn’t sure if
it was human or otherwise, so she crept behind a crypt, keeping low, and slowly snuck up on the
mystery woman, she was mere inches from the being now, as she leaned forward to find out who
or what it was, the figure turned around and looked straight into Buffy’s eyes.
“Hey B, you think I was a vampire?”
Faith smiled and started walking further into the grave yard, knowing Buffy would follow.
“Yeah, something like that, Erm… how are you faith?”
“I’m Five by five, you know how it is.”
Buffy paced faster and stopped in front of faith, “No Faith I don’t know how it is, one minute
you tell me that you slept with my best friend, the next minute you tell me your also in love with her,
and then above all else, before I know it, you make a pass at me when I’m comforting you.
I’d like to know, WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH YOU FAITH?”
Faith was in shock, Buffy had never talked to her like that before,
nor had she ever been upfront with her before, something was on Buffy’s mind, and Faith knew
it had something to do with the current situation.
“B, ok one, Chill Ok, and two, I’m sorry I made a pass at you, I just…I don’t know,
I felt hurt by Red, and I needed someone, it was wrong of me and I know that,
and I shouldn’t have done it, as for me and Red, I’m not sure whats going on there,
I think I love her, but its confusing, maybe I just want her so bad because I got a
taste of her but I cant actually have her.” Faith finished with a sigh and hung her head low.
Buffy rolled her eyes and sighed, then grabbed hold of Faith and started to drag her out
of the grave yard, “Woah B, what the hell are you doing, where are you taking me?”
Buffy didn’t answer, she just kept walking with her hand tightly clasped around Faith’s wrist.
Faith stopped and pulled buffy to a stop, “B, seriously, what are you doing?”
“I’m sick of this, me and you are going to the bronze, we are going to have a good
time and forget about that bitch Willow.” Buffy started walking again but had let go
of faith’s arm, “Faith, are you coming?” Buffy shouted as she walked faster. Faith
quickly followed after her and they both made there way to the bronze.
