Body Slave
Faith looked up as her front door was swung open, she stared as her children and Skye’s babies walked in.
Sighing heavily she looked down to where she held Rayas head between her hands as Red ran her hands inches over Rayas still form. Something about energy and danger sensing Faith hadn’t really been listening. The same reaction came over her whenever Raya was brought home injured, tunnel vision and the inability to focus on anything but her mate. Frankly if someone walked in claiming to be Al Capone she wouldn’t even notice.
David quickly walked to his mom’s side when he spotted Raya on the table. Ever since his change he was an adult among the pack and was expected to refer to his elders by their names. Looking up when he sensed his mother’s fear, chest tightening at the sight of his mother staring down at Raya, tears streaming down her cheeks with panic constricting her features.
Blinking back his own tears he looked over to the cubs, as there unofficial protector David knew he should take them back outside before questions and panic started.
Looking down at Raya David felt fear strike him, his alphas skin was pale. To pale, her lips blue and she looked dead. A familiar memory flashed through his mind, his sister spread out on the table in the old barn. That had been the first time he’d ever seen anyone dead. He had never told his mothers but when the battle with the tiger ended he had guided Brigitte from the tunnels through an exit that led into the barn. The memory of standing next to his sister’s lifeless body had been seared in his mind since the day it happened; now it seemed to be happening again.
He was not a cub anymore, he hunted demons with his pack, and he had witnessed the deaths of many slayers and humans. Looking to his siblings and niece and nephew he knew he had to take care of them, it wasn’t time for them to see these things.
“Come on. Let’s go find Aunt Dawn and Buffy’s cubs.” David said, leading them from the house.
Chaye stood stubbornly staring blankly at the table before them. Garrett could feel the fear and anger in his twin, turning back he gently led Chaye from the house. He almost didn’t catch Chaye whisper “Its not fair.”
“No its not.” Garrett agreed. “We gotta stay with them. We’re going to be changing next. We got to start acting like it.”
“Yeah.” Chaye said, picking up his walk to a small jog he easily caught up with David and the others.

Jaeger looked up and smiled when David walked through the door followed by the skin walker cubs. “Aunt Dawn isn’t here. She went with Vicki to the infirmary.”
“Oh…well can we stay here for awhile?” David asked. Looking to his feet he suddenly felt shy.
“Yeah you guys want to play a game? I don’t want to play hide and seek. You guys cheat.”
“We do not.” Snapped Brigitte.
“Well I don’t have a wolf nose so that’s out.” Jaeger pointed out sarcastically.
“How about we look at some of Aunt Reds stuff?” Chaye offered from the back.
Jaeger smiled, she knew with the suddenly eager looks on their faces that there was no point arguing. They were all wild in their own way and if they wanted to look they would. Besides Jaeger could sense where the dangerous stuff was so it would be ok….wouldn’t it?
~One hour later~
Jaeger sat in a strange mix of panic and excitement. They were in Reds attic amid a formerly neat pile of boxes. Now the letters and pictures strewn about was anything if not impressive. Luckily Jaeger had been able to coax them away from Aunt Reds spell boxes and everyone was looking at pictures from when the ‘Scooby gang’ was still in high school. She smiled at one of her mom in a cheerleading uniform. David was showing his brother and sister an early picture of Raya and Faith.
“Jaeger?” Jaeger turned toward the attic entrance when her name was called.
Frowning “Nikos?” what was he doing here?
Tousled dark curls poked through the hole and stopped trying to come through when it became obvious his wings wouldn’t let him. “Yeah…I was just wondering if you know where Willow is. I need to talk o her about something.” Nikos said.
‘This is about Sasha.’ Jaeger thought. She had sensed them just vanish the day before and she had known Kennedy long enough that she could track her spirit almost anywhere. “She’s busy right now. Do you have Sheri?”
“Here” Sheri said from behind Jaeger, jerking in shock she turned and looked up at the horned child.
“New trick?” Jaeger asked, willing her heartbeat to slow down.
“Yeah, Nikos taught me.” Sheri giggled and sat down beside Jaeger. Snatching a photo off the floor she went to show Nikos. “Look, that’s auntie Faith. Mommy says this was when she wasn’t evil.”
“My mom wasn’t evil.” Chaye growled. Garrett sighed in silent despair. It seemed nothing was going to calm his prickly twin.
“Not anymore.” Sheri said, smiling brightly at the cub. Chaye bristled and he extended his claws. “Don’t flaunt it if you’re not going to use it Fido.” Sheri snarled.
Nikos blinked in shock, where did a four year old learn to talk that way? Oh yea…he thought looking around the rowdy spawn of the slayer Faith. Looking down at the photo Sheri had shown him he noticed something.
“When was this taken?” He asked, trying to guess how old Raya and Faith were when Skye was born. He guessed they were around forty or so.
“That was right after the great war.” Jaeger said.
“Skye was born? How old were they?” Nikos asked. Staring hard at the photos.
“Well Faith was twenty when Skye was born.” Jaeger said. “Why?”
“For mortals…they’ve aged well.”Nikos said, a dangerous suspicion crept into his mind. Dropping down the ladder he walked down the hallway and stepped in front a picture that was recent of Willow and Buffy. It appeared to be from that pagan holiday with a tree and a red fat man.
Holding the pictures side by side Nikos had a dangerous thought come alive in his mind. “Sheri.” He called.
A moment later the tiny horned girl appeared beside him looking up at him sweetly.
“I have to go for a couple days but I WILL be back. Stay here with Jaeger alright?”
Sheri pouted and looked at her shoes. She didn’t want him to leave, they were having so much fun and she wasn’t scared with him here.
“Can I come.” She asked, her bottom lip fluttered tearfully.
“No im sorry. It’s dangerous. I’ll only be gone a few hours. I promise.” Nikos prayed he was telling the truth. Breaking into Olympus wasn’t going to be easy.
“Okay.” Sheri said bravely. Suddenly she hugged Nikos and gave him a hearty squeeze before letting go. “Don’t get dead.” She ordered.
“What? Where?”Nikos asked. Seriously did they not see a child in the room when they spoke this way.
“That’s what slayers always say before they hunt.” Sheri shrugged. “Ill stay with Jaeger.”
*********************
Sheri teleported back to her spot beside Jaeger. Again making the seer nearly jump out of her skin. “Where’s Nikos?” Jaeger asked.
“ I don’t know. Your watching me though.”
“I am?”
“Yeah, if I get hurt and am bleeding everywhere my mommy will be mad. So you have to watch me.” Sheri said, ignoring Jaeger as she looked at pictures of their parents.
Sighing Jaeger reached into a nearby shoebox and pulled out a small wooden box. It was engraved with a red outline of a heart.
Opening it up she saw a small calligraphy set. Ink jar, feathered pen along with parchment. The inside of the lid was engraved with a Latin phrase ‘verus diligo ostendo sum’
What was that? Jaeger wondered. Pulling out a piece of paper she sounded out the words, jumping when the pen suddenly came to life. Everyone present all stared in rapt interest as the ink jar opened by itself and the pen dipped and scribbled something onto the paper. All seemingly in thin air. Jaeger carefully picked up the parchment once the pen returned to its place in the box. Looking down she frowned in confusion. Written in deep red script were the words ‘Willow Rosenberg’ that didn’t make any sense…
“Let me try.” Sheri exclaimed grabbing the parchment and pen. “How does it work.”
“ I think you need to say the words.” Jaeger said, to confused to protest.
Carefully Sheri sounded out the words with Jaegers help. Like clockwork the pen navigated through the air and scribbled a name onto the parchment. “What’s it say?” Sheri asked excitedly. Jaeger took the paper and looked at it. Frowning “It says, Adrian and Tayrn Talsen. What is this thing?” Jaeger asked unsure of its purpose and that worried her.
“Let me try.” David said , confidently taking the pen and repeating the process. When the pen once again returned to his container he held up his parchment. “Nikos. Is there anything else in there?”
Shaking her head Jaeger looked down at hers. Strange, what was the point behind this box.

One week later
Buffy sat exhausted on an old overpass. Her feet hanging precariously over the edge. After almost two weeks traveling he no longer noticed the remnants of civilization. They had had it fairly easy, there had been one or two close calls with day walkers and other demons.
But they were making good time and were less than three days from their destination. Looking over when Lonnie slumped down beside her. Buffy smiled at her lover, after almost twenty years together Lonnie was still the most beautiful woman in the world. She had aged well, her hair held random streaks of white instead of auburn, her face was more matured and Buffy found herself getting lost in those forest green eyes still after all this time.
Smiling Lonnie asked “What is it?”
Buffy grinned softly. “Just thinking how beautiful you are. I love you.”
Smiling even bigger now Lonnie leaned over and softly kissed her mate. “I love you too…Boofay.”
“Oh god.” Buffy laughed. “Its been years since you’ve called me that.” Playfully hitting Lonnie’s shoulder she smiled. “Your it you know. You’re the one.”
“That’s good…I would hope after all this time I would be.” Lonnie teased.
“You are.” Buffy said, the sincere devotion was apparent to Lonnie. Who responded by kissing her slayer softly. “So are you Buffy.” Lonnie whispered against her lips.

Sasha drove the chariot as through the night, looking down she smiled when she saw Kennedy curled up around a sword of all things sleeping soundly. It had been a rough couple of days.
After rifling through the cargo the chariot had been pulling Sasha had managed to put together passable outfits for their roles. She was currently dressed as a Lords wife and Kennedy was in a servant’s garb. When that ugly truth had been revealed Kennedy had been livid. Convinced it was another ploy of Sasha being a God. Truly it wasn’t, Kennedy knew very little about this society and if they were ever going to gain entrance into the royal court they would need to blend in.
Her thoughts were distracted as she saw the fields open in the distance. Her plan on entering Atlantis itself was put on hold when she decided to visit her niece. Of course Petius had never been aware that Sasha was her blood. In this world Sasha had been a private body slave for the queen and the secret consort to Artemis. Sasha felt her heart harden thinking of her former lover.
She wanted to bristle at every statue they passed worshipping the goddess. Looking down at Kennedy she couldn’t help be realize just how different the two were. Why was she thinking this way? There was no reason to compare the two. Kennedy was…a slayer and warrior for her kind. She was kind, and insightful and gentle but that all was concealed by her fierce pride and strength….Artemis, she had been arrogant and unearthly beautiful, sweet but never in public. In public Sasha had simply been a plaything. Sighing she pushed it all from her mind as she pulled the team into the courtyard of Petius’s villa.
The servant reached them just as Kennedy stood after Sasha had gently shaken her shoulder.
“Greetings. Is your company expected?” The servant asked, Kennedy balked. The servant was a demon, a small orange skinned demon, dressed in a toga with one of those weird branch hats on. What the hell?
“No, but I am a friend of her God parent. Please give us introduction.” Sasha said firmly. The servant responded to the inherent tone of authority.
“Right his way Lady.” Turning he swiftly led the pair into the villa. From seemingly nowhere more servants appeared to take their chariot to the stables.
Kennedy didn’t know what was more shocking, the assortment of demon servants throughout the BIG ass house or the house? The entire thing looked like something from a Greek myth. White limestone made up the pillars walls and ceiling but the floors were all done in blue tile. She nearly tripped over Sasha when she became too interested in seeing her own reflection in a floor.
“Stand to my right and look at the floor unless I address you.” Sasha hissed out after they were left alone in a large company room.
“Got it.” Kennedy said, trying to look as unassuming and servant like as she could.
Sasha rolled her eyes in amusement at the overdone display although she wasn’t going to say anything if the slayer was going to finally listen to her…at all.
Turning as the large double doors to her right opened out walked who could only be Petius. The girl was likely in her twenties with long flowing blonde hair and bright blue eyes she looked just as Coop did. Before that strange biker fad she was now into.
“Lady Petius. I am Sh…I am Shaylius. I am an old friend of your mothers.” Sasha didn’t know why she gave her true name, she hadn’t spoken it in ages.
“So Tribbus said. I don’t see much of her so please forgive me for not knowing you.” Petius smiled mischievously. “Although now that you’re here I wish she had.” Sasha raised a brow at the blatant flirting. ‘Yep, definitely one of Coops’ she thought wryly. “What a pretty servant girl. Please sit, I have wine and we can talk.” Petius smiled before turning gracefully and sitting on a lounge chair, Sasha sat across from her and Kennedy stood off to the side silently stunned at the blatant beauty in front of her.
The woman was almost like Angelina Jolie, Megan fox and Charlene therone rolled into one. In a word. HOT. Surely there was nothing wrong with a peek or two.
“Tell me, what are you here for?” Petius said pleasantly. Watching the pair like a hawk.
Sasha smiled, seeing the curiosity and interest in the girl’s eyes. “It has been some time since I’ve visited Atlantis and I would like to explore all it has to offer. Your mother often tells me of what a beautiful home you have and I came to see for myself if it were true.”
“With one servant?” Petius asked, staring at Sasha hard.
“I only need the one.” Sasha said firmly, she hadn’t been in a situation for a long time and her diplomacy was sorely lacking.
“Tell me. Is she…talented?” Petius asked staring at Kennedy like she was cake and Petius was a starving fat kid.
Bristling Sasha rose, “ she is mine.”
“Yet she doesn’t bear your mark?” Petius eyebrow arched if possibly attractively.
Strangely possessive Sasha turned walked to Kennedys side and without warning pulled her head to the side and bit the slayers neck, hard at first, holding stronger when Kennedy momentarily jerked, softening the bite to a gentle sucking Sasha continued for a minute until she pulled back and examined the mark she had left. It was large and could be easily seen. Looking up at Kennedy she was surprised to see very blatant lust in those brown eyes.
Chuckling Petius stood. “You are correct, she is yours, i can sense her desire from here. My apologies. Allow me to retire, it is late and I would like to continue your visit tomorrow. Tribbus will show you to your chambers.”
“Goodnight Lady.” Sasha said respectfully. Smiling as the half blood god returned to her rooms. As the demon servant arrived Sasha moved to follow him and realized Kennedy wasn’t behind her, turning she saw the slayer was where she had stood before, breathing heavily and staring at Sasha in a way that made Petius’s looks look amateur.
“Are you coming?” Sasha asked searching for Kennedys gaze. With a jerk Kennedy came back to herself and followed after Sasha.
As Tribbus led them through a maze of corridors he finally stopped in front of a set of simple wooden double doors and opened them.
“Please enjoy your night and should her Lady have any needs do not hesitate to ask.” Bowing respectfully Tribbus turned and vanished into the corridor.
“How did he do that?” Kennedy asked. Sasha looked at the slayer and shrugged.
“Its his breed, during his period many are used as servants. They’re loyal docile by nature and can teleport short distances on command.”
“Oh.” Stepping into the room Kennedy looked around in amazement. A large four poster canopy bed was set against the far wall, a small table with cheeses and wine was set out, this was dimly illuminated by the torches that lit the chamber. Kennedy looked at a large mural on the wall depicting a winged god that could only be Coop, naked and entangled with a woman. “She sure isn’t shy.” Kennedy muttered.
“She is the Goddess of sex and love, it is natural that her daughter would honor her.” Sasha explained.
“Its still weird.” Kennedy muttered. Walking towards the bed that suddenly seemed much smaller up close. Her finger instinctively brushed the large hickey on her neck. Her body was still humming from the action.
At first she had wanted to floor Sasha but had remembered where they were and after a moment all her weird lustful thoughts involving the formerly blue demon came flaring to life.
Basically she was fucked she decided when Sasha abruptly unpinned her toga and let it fall to the floor before falling onto the bed.
“So where are you sleeping?” Kennedy asked. No way this servant bullshit was going any farther.
“WE are sleeping together in the bed. I’ve claimed you as my body slave, if we don’t make the appearance as convincing as possible you will be harder for me to protect.” Sasha didn’t feel that the penalty for failing to satisfy your master was either stoning or being stolen by someone else.
“Fine. As long as this day can be over.” Kennedy snapped. Flinging herself onto the bed beside Sasha. “So what's the plan?”
“We are going to…or I am going to cozy up to Petius and get into royal court.”
“Why?” Kennedy asked.
“Because that’s where I’m at here.” Sasha said, not missing how strange that sounded.
“Your royalty? Geez no wonder your an ass.” Kennedy smirked. Turning when she felt herself being stared at.
“No. I’m a slave. I believe that if we get there and follow my younger self around we might be able to figure this virus thing out.” Sasha explained.
“Oh…see how much easier shit is when you explain it?”
“Kennedy.”
“Yeah?”
“Shut up.”

“Kennedy.”
“Yeah?”
“Shut up.”
