Visionary Kiss II 21
Visionary Kiss II 21
EVELYN'S ROOM - NIGHT
Evelyn was asleep in her bed, dreamless gliding deeper with each breath, as sand began streaming in through the keyhole, pouring onto the floor, forming a large mound.
As the last grains of sand hit the mound, the woman started to toss and turn in her sleep, as if able to feel the danger.
The mound of sand was gone and in its place was Imhotep.
INT. FOYER - NIGHT
O'Connell and Jonathan raced into the foyer and skidded to a stop as they saw Henderson's body on the floor.
Not wasting time Rick walked over to Evelyn's door and rattled the knob, that still was locked.
Bending down he looked through the keyhole.
To see Willow, moving away he looked into the pale face of Jonathan, his mouth wide open.
"Did.she.the door."
EVELYN'S ROOM - NIGHT
Imhotep leaned down towards Evelyn, about to kiss her slight open lips as she sleeped.
The door started to crash and bang from O'Connell.
But the Mummy just ignored it, what he could not with the woman that walked though the same door. As if there would be no door, to stop in front of him, the same woman he knew long time ago.
Eyes like the black stones in his old temple.
A whisper in his head, a long lost memory.
"Imhotep she is not yours."
"She will be." With this he leaned down and kissed Evelyn, his lips and mouth instantly started to degenerate and decay.
Right down to the bone.
"She never will. She is already his." Willow moved her head around and the door burst open.
Evelyn woke up, looked up into Imhotep's rotten mouth, and screamed.
Looking in his face that was full of pain, she shoved him away.
"Get your hands off my girl, pal."
The sadness he had felt only moments before turned into anger as he spun around and faced Rick. Licking his fetid lips.
"Nice lips."
Imhotep started to move for O'Connell, "I figured you might be here, so I brought a friend." He threw the white cat at the mummy, who instinctively caught it.
There was a shriek, then he dropped the cat and stumbled back towards the window, which blew open.
Spinning like a dervish the man exploded into a whirlwind of Sand.
Everybody covered their eyes, not seeing as the sand-devil exploded out the window and vanished over the compound.
Jonathan aimed his gun at the window, his hands shaking badly.
Rick hugged Evelyn as she wiped her moth in disgust.
"That did go well."
Everybody looked at her and as if he would remember what he had seen, Jonathan aimed his gun at Willow," What the hell are you? You walked though this Door."
At this moment Daniels walked in, looked at corpse of his best friend on the floor.and dropped the martini glasses.
INT. FOYER - LATER THAT NIGHT
Willow walked over to the Bedroom door, she looked at the still form of Daniels, the man had lost consciousness, as soon as his mind had been able to grab what had happened.
"So you are a witch, you have to be since you know this magic stuff. And you can't stop him, because you are not meant to? You are here to help him?" Evelyn didn't believed in things like this, but maybe she was wrong.
Since the day she had for the first time seen Willow, she had felt that she was special. But this was nothing she could understand, Evey had the same problem to understand this magic, as she had problems with religions.
"I think this is not the important part, when she is here do take care of him, who will save us?"
"That would be me too, you are my friends. Only him I can't save, his Determination is to die."
The redhead knew what would come, they would decide to stop Imhotep, they would risk everything. Like she had done, every night with Buffy and her friends.
It was the only decision possible, and maybe this was the reason she had told them so much, they still had no idea what, who she was, or were she was from.
But this small group of people let her remember another group. A group with a hero, a nerd and one that was a clown.
She had only given them enough toersterstand that she would be not the one, the person that would end it. The Mother Goddess had told her that she would bind her to Imhotep, until she would be able to save him.
So she had only two options, watch her friends die, or be unable to save Imhotep again.
**Mother forgive me.**
Her eyes on the people that were sitting in the room she closed her eyes, reaching out with her magic, searching for him.
**Imhotep**
She would watch over them, they had made nothing wrong. And maybe she would still be able to save him, she would try everything.
INT. 1923 CONVERTIBLE DUSSENBERG - NIGHT
Jonathan raced his convertible through the streets, honking constantly. Willow sitting between him and O'Connell, who had Evelyn on his lap.
Evelyn moved her head to be able to look into Rick's eyes, "You called me your girl?"
"What? ... Oh yeah, that was just um, you know, figure a speech."
"I think you were jealous"
"Jealous? You kiddin' me? Did you see that guy's face?"
Daniels leaned forward from the back seat, beside bags full of weapons, filled with fear, "Shut-up! JUST SHUT-UP! We gotta do somethin'! We gotta do somethin, NOW! Before it's too late!"
They raced into the driveway of the museum of Antiquities.
EXT. CAIRO BAZAAR - NIGHT
A full moon was shining down on the bazaar, still bustling with activity. People that wanted to know what was going on.
Others that searched for members of their family or friends, or people that just wanted to make some money.
By selling food and other things or by stealing.
Suddenly, out of the nowhere a breeze kicked in.
Green mist began to swirl down the street and through the stalls. The people began to choke and cough and retch, as if being hit by a severe sickness.
Already to late.
Imhotep strolled through the sickened mob, his face half rotten off, his deformed mouth grinning happily. Beni at his side, looked very nervous, afraid of what was to come.
And then, one-by-one, the people silently began to follow Imhotep, their skin now covered in disgustingly hideous boils and sores.
Nothing more than brainless zombies, unable to think, feel or understand.
INT. MUSEUM OF ANTIQUITIES - NIGHT
O'Connell, Jonathan, Daniels, the Curator and Ardeth Bay follow Evelyn and Willow as they strided through the museum.
"Do you remember last month as I came across an inscription that mentioned The Book Of The Dead?" Willow only nod, to nod again at Daniels.
"That book we found at Hamunaptra?"
"Yes. I dismissed it, because it talked about bringing people back from the dead. A notion I was unwilling to believe."
"Believe it, sister. That's what brought our buddy back to life." Rick looked at Jonathan, who looked at Willow, maybe to just point out that he was sure the woman would know much more about it.
"And now he's going to use it to bring his girlfriend back."
"And if he succeeds, the two of them together will bring about the apocalypse." Bay added, not hiding the hate in his voice.
"Trust me it will be so much more worse with that bitch. Maybe she is related with Glory." Willow mumbled, as she watched the Curator join Evelyn at her side as she headed up the stairs, everyone else in hot pursuit, lost in Memories.
"The plagues we have seen so far are merely Imhotep flexing his muscles. Only at the moment of Anck-su-namun's resurrection will he be truly invincible."
They reached the display cases. Evelyn quickly opened them.
"I'm thinking that if the black Book Of The Dead can bring people back to life-"
"--then perhaps, the golden Book Of The Living can return them to the underworld."
"Exactly -"
"So you're sayin', if we find the book made outta gold-"
"--And read the sacred incantations contained inside it."
"You think it'll send this guy back to hell?"
"Correct,"
Everybody listened to the Curator and Rick, when reflected by the thick walls loud chanting was heard coming from outside.
They all rushed over to the upper windows and looked down outside.
A large, crazed mob covered in boils and sores came chanting up the driveway.
'Anck-su-namun! Anck-su-namun!
"It has begun. The beginning of the end."
Willow looked down, she tried to remember the man, Imhotep ones had been. She needed it, to help her understand why all these people would die.
Why she would watch them all die.
"Not quite yet it hasn't. C'mon," Evelyn dashed back to the display cases, everyone followed, except for Willow.
After one last look at her friends she walked over to the stairs, but before she could start walking them down, her arm was grabbed by Ardeth Bay.
"What do you do?"
He watched her turn towards him, to see her eyes change to black, as her hair, " I will do my job and you will do yours."
EXT. MUSEUM - NIGHT
The crazed mob crashed into the huge front doors, which had been locked.
The pounded furiously, throwing themselves at it while chanting constantly.
'Anck-su-namun! Anck-su-namun!'
Imhotep solemnly came up the driveway.
