Buffy closed her text book, leaned back in her chair and stretched. ‘God, am I glad that’s over,’ she thought. Standing she rolled her shoulders and stretched again. She checked the alarm clock on her nightstand. ‘Time to call Giles.’ rambled through her mind. She picked up the phone and hit the speed dial.
Faith was lying on her bed reading, when she heard the basement door open. She closed her books and waited for Buffy to come down the stairs. The blond smiled at the waiting brunette. “There’s just no sneaking up on each other with this connection is there?”
Faith grinned at her and opened her arms. “You say that like it’s a bad thing.”
Buffy crawled onto the bed and folded herself into Faith’s arms. She smiled and gently brushed her lips against Faith’s. “No, it’s a very good thing.” They kissed again. Buffy pulled back after a few moments and then rolled over onto her side. She pushed back into Faith so they were spooned together. Faith draped her arm around Buffy’s waist and pulled her in a little closer. She lay there with Buffy’s scent tickling her nostrils.
“I’m sorry I didn’t say anything when we got home,” Buffy whispered.
Faith raised her hand, pulled some of Buffy’s hair back, and tucked it behind her ear. “It’s alright,” she breathed into Buffy’s neck. “I know it’s hard, and I know yer scared.” She paused for a moment. “We’ll get through it together, okay?”
Buffy nodded and the two girls enjoyed the closeness of each other. “I called Giles already,” Buffy spoke up. “There doesn’t seem to be any big bad on the horizon, so it should be just a regular patrol.”
Faith trailed a line of kisses along Buffy’s neck. “Just a regular patrol?” she mumbled between kisses.
Buffy stretched her neck out a little, “Mhmm,” rumbled out of her chest.
“Buffy!” Dawn yelled in the kitchen. The blond sat up and moved to the edge of the bed. She looked back at the dark slayer with a sad smile.
“It’s okay.” Faith laid a hand on her back.
“Down here, Dawn,” Buffy called back. The door to the basement was flung open and the fury known as Dawn bounced down the stairs. She stopped and looked at the two slayers on the bed. Her head tilted to the side as she gazed at them.
“Are you still fighting?”
“No,” Faith answered, “why would you think that?”
“Buffy said she had to talk to you about some stuff, so I thought you had a fight.” She shrugged. “Whenever anybody says they ‘Need to Talk to Me’, I’m usually in some kind of trouble.” The two slayers smiled at the brunette.
“I needed to talk to her, Dawnie, that’s all,” Buffy said. “I told you upstairs we weren’t fighting.”
“Yeah, but you also went to L.A. and didn’t go to one mall or shoe store. So I don’t believe you.”
Faith smirked at the blonde’s back. “She’s got ya there B.”
Buffy turned snapping her arm back and contacting Faith’s arm. “You’re my girlfriend, so you can’t take her side.” Her eyes popped wide open as the words left her mouth. Faith arched an eyebrow and shifted her gaze to Dawn. “Girlfriend,” Buffy yelped. “As in she’s a girl, ummm, and she’s my friend!” She closed her eyes tightly so she couldn’t see the growing smile on Faith’s face. “You know like Willow, is a girlfriend?” She opened her eyes again and slowly turned to face her sister.
Dawn was staring at her with a pensive look on her face. “I thought Tara was Willow’s girlfriend?” Her eyebrows furrowed, “Did they break up? Why?” She looked like she was on the edge of tears.
“Nah,” Faith spoke up. “She meant like Janice is your girlfriend. Willow and Tara were fine last time we talked.”
“Oh.”
Buffy sighed in relief. Faith placed her hand on Buffy’s back to calm her down. “So what can we do for ya squirt?” Faith asked.
“Nothing,” Dawn shrugged. She wandered over, sat on the end of the bed, and looked at the two slayers. She pulled her knees up and wrapped her arms around them. “So what’d you do last night? Buffy said you went to a club. Was there anybody famous there?”
Faith giggled and Buffy swatted her again. “It wasn’t that kind of a club Dawn,” Buffy replied. “It’s run by a friend of Angel’s.” She let her words hang there for a moment. “We met Cordelia there, and that’s where we stayed.”
“So you guys just danced and stuff?”
Faith’s eyes sparkled as she tried to hold the laughter in. Buffy shot her a glare. “It wasn’t a dance club either.”
Dawn’s face scrunched up in confusion. She finally looked at her sister, “Just tell me what it was already, so I can quit guessing.”
Faith couldn’t hold back this time and snorted in laughter. “There’s that world famous Summers’ patience.” Buffy swatted her again. “Cut that out, or one of these days you’ll leave a mark!”
Buffy turned on the dark slayer, her eyes hinting at the passion there. “I’ll mark you alright.” Faith quickly pointed a finger at Dawn, and Buffy blushed. “Crap!” she whispered before turning back to her sister.
Dawn was looking back and forth between the two slayers. “What is your problem? You guys are acting so weird, are you sure you sorted whatever it was out?”
Faith smiled at her, “Yeah squirt, we sorted it all out ‘n everythin’s good. We’re five by five.”
“I hope so, ‘cuz I wouldn’t want to see how weird you are if you aren’t.” Faith and Buffy both smiled at her. “So what kind of club was it?”
“It was a demon karaoke bar,” Faith answered.
“Oh.” The silence stretched while the two slayers waited for the next outburst.
“Why would you go to a demon karaoke bar?” Dawn was puzzled, and gawked at the other two. “Don’t you spend enough quality time with them here? Or are they a better class of demons in L.A.?”
The two slayers chuckled at Dawn. “No, it’s just where Cordy wanted to meet us after work. It’s owned by a friend of Angel’s and she wanted us to meet him.”
Dawn nodded in response. “Was Angel there?” Both of them shook their heads. “So what did you do?”
“Talked with Queen C, had some drinks, nothin’ much,” Faith supplied.
Dawn looked at the light blush creeping up Buffy’s neck. “Uh-uh.” She waved her finger at them. Pointing at the blush on her sister’s neck, “That tells me something happened, what was it?” The two slayers looked at each other but didn’t respond. Dawn’s eyes widened. “Oh-my-god! Did you sing? Did they like boo you out of the club or something? What happened?”
“Ask Boof...” slipped out of Faith’s mouth before she could stop it. Buffy’s head snapped around wide-eyed and stared at Faith. She was trying not to laugh, but it was too hard. “I’m s-sorry B, i-it just popped out!” Buffy jumped on top of the dark slayer and started to slap her on the arms.
“I told you what would happen if you ever said that again!”
Dawn just stared at the two girls rolling around on the bed. Faith flipped Buffy over on her back and straddled her. She grinned maniacally and started tickling her. “Not so big and bad now, are ya B?”
Buffy was turning red, she was laughing so hard. “Faith, quit it!” squeaked out between giggles.
“Why should I?” was the retort. Dawn jumped on Faith’s back and wrapped her arms around her neck, “’Cause she’s my sister!” she yelled in Faith’s ear. The dark slayer sat up trying to dislodge the little brunette wrapped around her. Buffy reached up and grabbed at Faith, but the dark slayer twisted when she did. The three of them tumbled off the bed and landed in a laughing heap on the floor.
“That was certainly graceful,” Joyce was standing on the bottom step.
“Mom!” Buffy yelped and tried to jump to her feet. The three girls extricated themselves and were now standing, staring at Joyce with goofy grins on their faces.
“Hey Mrs. S,” Faith smiled at her. Joyce just nodded at the three girls, and crossed her arms.
“Uh, how long have you been there?” Buffy asked as she looked at the floor.
“I just got home now. I came downstairs when I heard somebody destroying the basement. Why?”
“We uhh, didn’t hear you come in, that’s all.” Buffy was staring at her feet. Joyce watched her daughter with a raised eyebrow.
“Yeah,” Faith smiled at Joyce. “We were just yappin’ with Lil’ D, and a tickle fight broke out.” She shrugged when she finished speaking.
“The three of us were just hanging out mom,” Dawn added.
Joyce looked at the three of them standing in front of her. “I’m sure that’s all you were doing.” She smiled warmly at them all. “But I don’t believe a word of it. Nobody’s bleeding and nothing’s broken so I’ll take it at face value. Did you call Mr. Giles, Buffy?”
“Yup, everything’s cool.” Buffy turned her head to look at Faith. “Faith and I will go on patrol, now that you’re home. We won’t be late.”
“Can I go?” Dawn asked.
“NO!” all three women turned on the brunette. “We’ve discussed this Dawn, and as long as I’m alive, the answer is no,” Joyce said quietly. She turned to go up the stairs, “You have a better chance of getting two new cars for your birthday than you will have of going on patrol,” she paused. “Ever.” Joyce disappeared up the stairs.
Dawn frowned, “I never get to do anything fun.”
Faith reached out and put her arm around her. “Hey, it’s cuz we care about you. Yer Mom and sis love you, and they don’t wanna see you get hurt. It’s dangerous enough out there without goin’ lookin’ for it.”
“But I’d have you two to protect me,” she sighed.
Faith nodded, “But if we’re fightin’ some vamps, we may not see the one that’s chewin’ on your neck. Or we might not get there in time.”
Dawn’s shoulders sagged. “But Willow and ...”
“I know it’s not fair, Dawn,” Buffy interrupted her. “But Willow and Tara are witches, and Xander has some skills. Even when we’re with them we still worry, the same as if you were there.” She walked over and kissed Dawn on the cheek. “It’s not personal Dawnie, it’s because we love you.” She draped her arm around the girl and moved her towards the stairs. Buffy quickly looked back over her shoulder. “You coming?”
“Yup,” Faith nodded, “I’ll be there in a sec.”
When Faith entered the kitchen from the basement, she saw Dawn with her head buried in the fridge. She quickly looked for Buffy and Joyce. Not seeing them, she quickly stepped up to Dawn and whispered in her ear, “Lil’ D.”
Dawn’s head popped out of the fridge, “What?”
“Shhh!” Faith put a finger over her lips. “Not so loud.” She took a quick look around. “If you want to go on patrol, you’re gonna have to learn to fight. I can help you with that.” Dawn’s eyes lit up, but Faith still had her finger over her mouth. “It ain’t gonna happen for a long time, and it’s gonna take a lotta work, but I’m willin’ ta help ya, okay?” Dawn’s head started to nod vigorously. Faith smiled at her sparkling eyes. “Meet me downstairs at 6:00 am, okay?” Dawn’s head was still bobbing up and down. Faith pulled back and winked at her. “It’s our little secret, right?”
Dawn jumped up and wrapped her arms and legs around Faith. “YES!” she half whispered in Faith’s ear. “I won’t tell anybody!”
“Good,” Faith nodded and looked towards the front door. “I gotta go, so I’ll see you in the mornin’.” She put Dawn back down and walked away. When she got to the door, she slipped into her duster and checked the contents. “Hey B,” she called up the stairs. “I’m ready to motor.”
“Hang on, I’m coming.” Buffy appeared at the top of the stairs. “Is Mr. Pointy there?” she asked. Faith looked at the hall table, then bent and picked up the stake.
“Yup, right here waitin’ for ya.”
Buffy trotted down the stairs and quickly kissed Faith as she reached for the stake.
“Thanks.” Faith held the door open and the two slayers headed out into the night.
The slayers were walking together through the rows of Twin Elm Cemetery. Their eyes moved back and forth, looking for any sign of the undead come to life. The Slayer connection hummed between the two of them. They could feel the closeness of each other, and the peacefulness it brought. Buffy turned her head slightly and watched Faith as she moved between the graves. She moved quietly, not disturbing anything beneath her feet. A predator on the prowl. Buffy could feel the power emanating from the dark slayer. ‘She’s just like a magnet,’ she thought. ‘If I closed my eyes and stood there, I’d still be drawn to her.’
“Whatcha thinkin’ about B?” Faith broke the silence.
Buffy stumbled when Faith spoke. “Huh?” was all she could say.
Faith stopped and turned, smirking at the blond slayer. “Just askin’ where yer hidin’. Ya seem to be in a different world.”
“Oh,” Buffy turned a light pink around the edges. She dropped her head slightly, and then lifted it to look the brunette in the eyes. She smiled warmly, “I was thinking about you.”
Faith raised an eyebrow as she smiled back. “Don’t let Cordy find out, she’ll kick your ass.”
Buffy lightly punched her arm. “How do you know I wasn’t thinking of both of you?”
“Touché.” Faith nodded.
“Faith,” Buffy asked. “What were you talking to Dawn about, before we left?”
“Umm, I was talkin’ to Dawn?”
Another punch to the arm, this one a little harder. “Slayer hearing, remember?”
Faith rubbed her arm. “Just some stuff.”
Buffy stopped and fixed her with her gaze. “Uh-huh, just stuff. Sorry, I’m so not buying that.” She paused for a moment. Faith was looking around the cemetery, praying for a vamp to appear. “There were four dogs, six blocks over, in pain, when she let out that squeal.” She put her hands on her hips and stared at the dark slayer. “Now what were you talking about?” Faith sighed and looked at the ground. She seemed really interested in some of the damp grass that had attached itself to the toe of her boot. “Faith.” It was only one word, but the voice behind it spoke volumes.
She sighed, “I told her if she wanted to patrol with us, she’d have to learn to fight.”
“YOU WHAT?” Buffy screeched. With closed fists she advanced on the nervous brunette.
“Listen B, please?” Faith was backing up, away from the blond, holding her hands in front of herself. “Lemme tell ya exactly what I said okay?” She kept stepping back till she hit a gravestone. She quickly looked down then back at the angry blond. “Please B?” she whined.
“Be quick,” the furious blond hissed.
“Right,” Faith was still holding her hands in front. “I told her if she wanted to patrol, she’d have ta train first, and that I’d train her. I also told her it would take a couple a years before she’d be able to. Patrol with us that is.” Buffy hadn’t moved. Faith wasn’t sure if she was even breathing. “And it’s not just about patrollin’ either; she’s gonna be a hottie when...”
“WHAT!” Buffy spit out. “That’s my little sister!” She stepped closer to Faith.
“Yeah,” Faith looked at her quizzically. “She takes after you and your Mom, so yeah she’s gonna be...”
“You think my Mom is hot?”
Faith could feel the angry breath of the blond on her neck. She closed her eyes for a moment and calmed herself. “Just listen to me B. Let me say what I gotta say, and then ask questions, okay?” There was an almost imperceptible nod from the irate slayer. Faith took a deep breath and slowly let it out. “Okay, here’s what I wanna do, and the reasons why, alright?” Buffy glared at Faith as she nodded again. “I wanna teach her to defend herself. Not just to patrol, but in case of anything else. We ain’t always gonna be with her B, so if she can defend herself then I’ll feel better. When she gets a little older, she ain’t goin’ to wanna hang with us. Like Queen C said, not all the slimy things in this town are demons.” Faith put her hands on Buffy’s shoulders, and looked into her eyes. She whispered, “You take the one on your left.”
“Huh?” Buffy blinked.
“Hello girls,” one of the vamps grinned at them. “It’s so nice of you to come by.”
Buffy’s head quickly swivelled from side to side, taking in the two vampires. She rolled her eyes, “Will you two just fuck off! Can’t you see we’re talking here?” The two vamps and Faith just stared at her. “Oooh, I hate it when people just interrupt, like they’re so much more important than anyone else!” She was waving her hands in the air. “Really, it’s just so rude, you know?” She winked and nodded at Faith, as she slid her hand into the back of her jacket. Her left hand shot out from behind her and impaled the vamp on Mr. Pointy. He exploded into dust and realization dawned on the other one as he felt a stake break the skin over his heart. His eyes started to widen, and then he was just blowing in the wind. Buffy slipped Mr. Pointy back into her jacket and crossed her arms. “Where were we?”
“I was explainin’ why I thought it would be a good idea to train Lil’ D.”
“Please continue.” Buffy wasn’t smiling anymore.
“I just think it would be good if she knew how to defend herself. When she’s older, maybe she can patrol with us.” Buffy’s eyes started to widen. “But that’s up to you and your mom.”
Buffy nodded, “Go back to the bit about you thinking my mom is hot.”
Faith tilted her head. “Course she’s hot B, look at you, you’re hot, so it just makes sense that your mom’s gonna have some hotness goin’ on. All the Summers women are hot.” Faith started walking away from Buffy, shaking her head.
“So, that’s like a compliment, right?” Buffy asked the disappearing back. Faith threw her hands in the air and kept walking.
Two hours later the front door of the Summers’ house opened with a bang. A dark haired slayer stomped into the kitchen. “Hey, Mrs. S.”
“Hi Faith,” Joyce looked at the girl. “Hungry?”
Faith nodded, “I’ll be back up in a minute, if you need help.” She turned and clumped down the stairs. Two minutes later the frustrated blond entered the room. She took a quick look around. “Where’s Faith?” she demanded.
Joyce tilted her head and looked at her daughter, “She’ll be back up in a minute, what’s going on?”
Buffy blinked at her mother and sighed, her shoulders sagging. “Nothing, everything, I don’t know.” She slumped down in a chair and watched her mother move around the kitchen. Joyce waited patiently for Buffy to speak. “We had a discussion about some things, and I don’t understand her reaction.”
Joyce smiled, “That just means you’ll have to talk to her doesn’t it?”
“Yeah.” Buffy moved to the fridge and got a bottle of water. “I don’t know if she’ll listen.”
“You won’t know ‘til you talk to her, will you?”
“No.”
“So let her cool down. I’ll call both of you when your food is ready.”
Buffy walked over and hugged Joyce from behind. “Thanks mom.” Joyce just smiled as Buffy went upstairs. She went into her room and flopped on the bed. She stared at the ceiling for a moment, and then reached for the phone. She hit redial, and waited for the connection.
“Hello?”
“Hey Cordy, sorry for calling so late.”
“Buffy?”
“Yeah.”
“What’s wrong?”
The blond slayer sighed, “I think Faith and I are having our first fight.”
Cordelia laughed into the phone, “You two are hilarious! You’ve been gone for 8 hours and already you’re fighting? So what, it’s up to me to hold this relationship together?”
Buffy groaned, “No, I’m gonna talk to her, I just wanted to talk to you first, that’s all.”
“Okay,” Cordelia answered. “What was the fight about?”
“I got upset because she wants to train Dawn to fight, maybe to patrol with us a few years from now.”
“So you think that’s a bad idea?”
“Well,” Buffy paused, “I’m not that happy about the patrolling thing, but why would she want to train her for anything else?”
“What did she say?” the seer asked.
Buffy sighed again, “She said something about being able to protect herself and not all the slimy things in this town are demons.”
“Buffy,” Cordelia’s voice was soft. “Faith grew up very differently from us, remember? She has a very different perspective on people. If she wants to train Dawn to protect herself, it’s because she cares for all of you.”
“But she’s my sister...”
“That’s exactly the point Buffy. She’s your sister, and because of that, she’s part of Faith’s family. Now, she’s part of mine too.”
The silence stretched for a few moments. “Oh God,” Buffy moaned into the receiver. “I am so stupid.”
“No,” Cordelia said with a smile in her voice. “You’re not stupid, a little slow on the uptake sometimes, but not stupid.”
“Thanks, now what do I do?”
“You go downstairs, tell her you understand, and kiss her so hot, her underwear catches fire.”
Buffy laughed, “In as much as I think that’s a great idea, I’ll wait till after we eat, and my mom goes to bed. If that’s okay with you?”
“M-hmm,” Cordelia answered. “After your mom’s gone, take her downstairs, tell her you talked to me, and make love to her for both of us. Next time I talk to her, I’ll ask.”
“Are you sure?” Buffy queried.
“I’m still basking in the glow from this afternoon,” Cordelia’s voice hummed across the phone. “I wouldn’t deny that feeling to anybody. The next time we’re together though, I will expect some, umm, ‘special’ attention.”
Buffy grinned, “We’ll see that you get some ‘very special’ attention. Thanks Cordy, for helping me.”
“No problem sweetie, give Faith my love. I mean it; I want to feel the screams from here.”
Buffy bounced down the stairs after saying goodnight to Cordelia. She entered the kitchen to find Faith and her mother just putting the plates out. The happy blond seemed to push Faith into a darker mood. Joyce looked between the two, “Goodnight girls, and clean up after you’re done please.” She turned and left the room.
The two slayers ate in silence. Buffy kept smiling at Faith, but the dark slayer just ignored her. She pushed herself away from the table when she was done. “I’ll clean up when I’m finished,” Buffy smiled at her again. Faith just nodded and went downstairs. Buffy sighed, ‘She’s not going to make this easy,’ she thought to herself. She quickly tidied up and turned the dishwasher on. She stood in front of the door to the basement, her hand resting on the knob. ‘Here goes nothing,’ she thought. She looked towards Faith’s bed when she got to the bottom of the stairs. The brunette was lying on her side, facing away from Buffy. She slowly moved across the room, and sat on the edge of the bed. “I know you’re not sleeping Faith,” she said quietly. “I talked to Cordy, and she told me to do three things. The first is to tell you I understand. I didn’t look at it from your point of view. I only looked at it as protecting my sister. It didn’t sink in that that’s all you’re doing as well. I’m sorry, you’re right, it would be better if she could defend herself. If you want, I could help.”
Faith rolled over onto her back and looked up at the blond, “I would like that, but not nearly as much as Dawn would.” Her lips curled up at the ends, “It would show her how much you cared by helping to teach her.”
The blond nodded, “The second thing Cordy told me was to kiss you so hot your underwear caught fire.”
“I ain’t wearing any B.”
The blond broke out into a wide grin, “I figured that was a possibility, and that brings me to the third thing she told me.” She stood up from the bed and pulled her shirt over her head. She reached behind her to unclasp her bra, “She said to make love to you for both of us. She wants to feel the screams in LA.” She ran her hands over her breasts and reached for the button on her jeans. Faith’s eyes followed her every move. “Do you think that sounds like a good idea?” Buffy asked softly. Faith swallowed and nodded her head. “I’m glad you think so,” Buffy’s jeans slid down her legs revealing a tiny thong. She pulled the covers back and slid into the bed, next to Faith. “I decided to let you do a little work.” She leaned over Faith and brought her lips down to meet Faith’s. She gently brushed over top of them, before sucking Faith’s bottom lip into her mouth. releasing it, she covered Faith’s mouth with her own again. Her tongue darted out; asking for entrance, with a moan Faith let her in. Buffy slid her hand up the side of Faith’s chest until it found the bottom of her breast. Her fingers dragged across the top of it, the nub hardening under her gentle caresses.
She pulled back a little from Faith, their breath ragged; she inched down the hard body underneath her, trailing kisses as she went. In the valley of Faith’s breasts, her tongue appeared again, softly trailing up to the peak on her right. It gently rolled around the hard nipple it found there, before being inhaled into her mouth. She rolled the stiff nipple of the other breast between her thumb and forefinger, while she sucked and pulled with her mouth. Faith arched her back with a groan as her nipple popped out of Buffy’s warm mouth into the cool air.
The blond smiled and trailed her tongue across the valley to the other stiffened peak. She could feel the heat emanating off of Faith as she inhaled it in between her teeth. Faith pushed her leg up between Buffy’s thighs ‘til she could feel the lace of the thong. Buffy moaned as it contacted her wet centre. The wet nipple slipped out of her mouth as she moved back up to kiss Faith. Mouths and tongues duelled, as the two slayers rocked against each other’s thighs. Faith pushed Buffy up and away from her, putting more pressure on her soaking pussy. She moved her head slightly and pulled one of the dangling breasts into her mouth. The blonde groaned, her shaking arms holding her up. Faith switched breasts and sucked on the other one. The pace of their movement slowly gathering speed, the two slayers could feel the sizzle of their connection burning through their skin. Faith let go of Buffy’s breast and pulled her down across her body. She flipped them over and devoured Buffy’s hungry mouth with her own. She pulled back, straddling Buffy’s thigh, her breath rasping in and out of her lungs. She smiled slowly as she stared down into hazel coloured pools of lust. She lifted her leg up and over Buffy’s thigh and pushed the blond’s apart. Moving her hands along the silken thighs she lifted them up and raised her legs straight up. She rested them on her right shoulder and tugged on the waistband of the thong. “Time for me to go to work,” she smiled at the blond. Buffy lifted her hips slightly and Faith rolled the garment up her legs. She tossed them to the floor and leered at the girl below her. “That was hard; I deserve some kind of reward don’t I?”
“Mm-hmm,” Buffy sighed, “Most definitely.” She spread her legs and lowered them on either side of Faith. Sitting up she wrapped her arms around Faith and kissed her. Pulling away, she inhaled their combined scent, and then pushed Faith to the bed. She pulled Faith’s legs from under her and wrapped them around her own waist. She took Faith’s hands and pulled the brunette into a sitting position. They kissed hard, tongues wrestling with each other. Faith felt Buffy drag the fingernails of one hand slowly along her thigh. It dipped down at the junction of the two girls and moved down her very wet slit. She moaned into the kiss as it travelled up and down, spreading the wetness it found. She moved her own hand down to cover Buffy’s wet core and smiled at the answering groan. They each slipped a finger into the other, pushing their palm against the other’s clit. Their free hands wrapped around each other pulling them close. Buffy broke the kiss and inhaled Faith’s nipple, sucking hard, and scraping it with her teeth.
“Yeah, B,” the dark slayer moaned. “That feels so fuckin’ good!” Buffy added another finger to Faith and the brunettes head snapped back with a moan. The blond smiled to herself and switched breasts. She groaned in response when Faith added a second finger to her. Their hands moved together pushing against their clits, fingers moving in and out of each other in time. Their breath changed to ragged pants as their orgasms approached. Sweat trickled between their breasts and beaded on their foreheads. They pulled each other closer and pushed into each other harder. Faith was the first to go. She bit her lip as she went over the edge, shaking in Buffy’s grasp. Buffy felt Faith go through the connection and the jolt kick started her orgasm. They held each other while the tremors dissipated; basking in the warmth of each others embrace. Faith leaned forward and took Buffy’s mouth with hers. She broke the kiss and looked into Buffy’s eyes. “You have no idea how you make me feel. Thank you.” She touched her forehead to the blond’s.
“Remind me to call Cordelia and thank her for that wonderful idea,” Buffy smiled at the brunette. “Although she did say something about some ‘special attention’ the next time we’re together.”
Faith smirked, “I’m sure we’ll give her all the ‘attention’ she’ll need.” The two girls extricated themselves from where they were sitting and stretched out on the bed. Buffy pulled herself on top of Faith, her head resting on her shoulder. They lay quietly for a few moments. “Do you want to stay here?” she asked quietly.
“Yeah,” Buffy answered. “But then I’d have to get up early so Mom doesn’t catch us.”
Faith snickered, “Dawn’s s’posed to come down at six, so I can start training her. That means even earlier.”
Buffy groaned into Faith’s chest, “I am so not a morning person. What are you going to teach her tomorrow?”
“I’ll start to teach her Tai Chi.”
“Yeah? Would it be okay if you taught me as well?”
“Gee,” Faith smirked. “I don’t know...” Buffy pinched her, and Faith laughed. She wrapped her arm around the blond, “I like to do it in the morning. It kinda focuses me for the day. If you don’t want to, we can do it at Giles in the afternoon.”
Buffy lay there quietly while she thought about it. “That sounds alright; we can try it in the morning and change it later if we need to.”
“Kay,” Faith yawned. “Why don’t you go get your pj’s. We’ll just get up before Dawn does and then you can go get her.”
Buffy sat up and kissed her, “Sounds like a plan. I’ll be back in a few.” She hopped out of the bed, pulled her pants and shirt on, and headed upstairs.
Joyce’s arm flopped over onto the nightstand and slapped around until it hit the annoying buzzer. She blinked a few times, before rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. With a sigh of resignation, she threw the covers back, and got up. She had just passed Buffy’s room, half awake, when she realized the door was open and the room was empty. She looked up the hallway toward Dawn’s room, seeing her door was open as well. A quick check informed her it was also empty. She stood in the hall and listened for sound. There was none. The house was quiet. ‘If the two of them are in the same house, there should be some fighting going on somewhere,’ she thought. Joyce turned and headed down the stairs. She looked into the empty living room, before walking through the dining room and into the silent kitchen. She paused at the door to the basement, ‘I’ll check with Faith,’ she thought. She didn’t notice the slight tremor in her hand as the doorknob slowly turned. She pulled the door open and quietly walked down the stairs. With each step, more of the basement came into view. The three girls were standing in the middle of the floor, facing one of the windows in the far wall. The sunlight splashed around them as they moved slowly, each with a fist pressed into the open palm of their other hand.
“Push it across slowly,” Faith said quietly. “Concentrate on the resistance as it moves across your chest.”
Joyce stood quietly on the steps and watched as Faith talked the other two through several more moves. She turned and silently slipped up the stairs, and closed the door behind her. ‘It’s funny how Faith is such a calming influence on both of them,’ she thought to herself. ‘Despite all her confidence, it feels like she’s looking for something. I really hope she finds it.’ She sighed, and started to ready breakfast.
