Chapter 24

The slayers had walked away from the house and towards the great wood that was at the far end of the property, they walked silently hand in hand enjoying the comfort that the small gesture offered them both.

“What a day.” Buffy said breaking the silence.

“Yeah and it’s not even lunch time.” Faith replied. They continued walking through the trees until they came to a clearing, they had not ventured out this far previously so this was a new find.

“Wow. I never knew this was here.” Buffy stated.

“Me neither, wow it’s beautiful.” Faith replied looking at her surroundings.

At the far end of the clearing there was a cliff with a waterfall cascading into a small pool, the clearing was full of luscious plants and flowers, slowly the pair made their way to the pool.

“This place is wonderful, it’s amazing.” Buffy said as she looked around at the abundance of amazingly coloured plants.

Faith walked towards a rock that was next to the pool and sat down, she slid herself back until she rested against another large rock behind her, she motioned foffy ffy to come to her.

Buffy settled herself between Faith’s legs and rested her back against her lover Faith wrapped her arms around the blond and place a small kiss on her shoulder. They sat in silence for a while just watchin the the flowers danced in the breeze and listening to the hypnotic sounds of the water as it gently landed in the deep pool below.

“Hey look.” Buffy whispered and pointed across the clearing toward the trees at the side of them.

“Wow is that a wolf.” Faith asked trying to get a clear viewthe the creature that had appeared.

“Yeah it looks like, keep real quite we don’t wanna scare it.” Buffy once again whispered.

They watched as the wolf came out of the trees and walked toward the pool of water, as it approached the pool it stopped and glanced up at the slayers who were sat stock still trying not to even breath so as not to startle it. The wolf lifted his nose and sniffed at the air, then began walking slowly toward them. The slayers froze they kept eye contact with the wolf until it was right in front of them, the wolf’s stare had not wavered once. Buffy was beginning to panic, she had not been this close to a wild animal before, she felt Faith gently tighten her arms as if trying to protect her, but was surprised when Faith removed her arms and bega sta stand. She turned slowly to see what Faith was doing.

“Trust me.” Faith said quietly.

Buffy nodded and Faith continued her movements, she raised herself from behind Buffy and moved slowly to the side, all the while never breaking eye contact with the wolf. She stepped slowly to the edge of the rock they had sat on she bent her knees and was now at eye level with the wolf, again without breaking eye con she she bowed he head toward him.

Buffy was watching her girlfriend, she was worried for her safety but wanted to prove to the brunette that she did trust her, so she sat as still as she could, she watched as Faith bowed her head at the wolf and to her amazement the wolf not only bowed his head but lowered the front half of his body as if bowing towards her. Buffy took a sharp intake of breath as the wolf seemed to launch itself at Faith but to her astonishment Faith began to tickle and smooth the wolf.

“How did you do that?” She asked the brunette.

“I don’t really know, but he seems to like me, don’t ya fang.” She ruffled his fur once more.

“Fang?” Buffy enquired. “You’ve named him already.” She giggled.

“You should know me by know B, it only takes a look and I give someone a name.” Faith replied. “Where are my manners?” She stated looking back at the wolf that now gave her his undivided attention.

“Fang I would like you to mehe mhe most important person in my life, this is Buffy, Buffy I would like you to meet my new friend this is Fang.” She pronounced gesturing to the wolf.

“Hello Fang.” Buffy knelt beside Faith as she spoke to the wolf, to her amazement the wolf once again bowed toward her and then moved in for some more fuss but this time from both slayers.

After a few moment of bonding with the wolf the slayers moved back onto the rock and settled themselves again. Fang had wandered off to investigate his surroundings. They watched as he seemed to be patrolling the area for anything that could be a threat.

“Wow, he’s wonderful, where do you think he came from?” Buffy turned to look at the dark haired beauty.

“Don’t know, I s’pose he lives on the grounds or something.” Faith answered.

“You’re beautiful.” Buffy stated, Faith lowered her face blushing, she still cn’t n’t get used to the way Buffy made he feel.

“You’re cute when you blush.” Buffy stated raising Faith’s chin.

“I am not cute.” Faith mock growled.

“Oh yeah I forgot you’re a tough girl and bad ass, what was I thinking.” Buffy grinned ananedaned in lacelace a chaste kiss on the voluptuous lips in front of her.

“Believe it baby.” Faith giggled while leaning back in to finish what Buffy had started. This kiss was more forceful Faithled led Buffy in closer to her almost demanding entrance to her mouth, the blond was a little taken a back at the dominance that her partner was showing, but she liked it, she gave in easily to the probing tongue and began to suck hungrily at it. “Fuck B, why not just give ‘em that look, and they’ll do whatever you want, that look is dangerous girlfriend.” Faith laughed, she could never resist the trademark pout or the eyes, but together fuck it was impossible.

“We better be making our way back before they send a search party.” The blond looked sadly ar lor lover.

“I know, but I like it here, it’s peaceful it’s just us and I like it like that.”

“Me too baby, me too, but we’ll get some more ‘quality time’ later trust me”

“Always.”

“Good now come on I gotta find my clothes god knows where you threw my bra.” Buffy stated as she started to look around for her clothes.

Faith was up and dressed in no time, well with only pants and a t-shirt to put on it didn’t take long, Buffy however was having a little trouble trying to locate her bra.

“Where the hell did you throw it.” She was becoming a little concerned. Faith moved back onto the rock and positioned herself on it, she mimicked taking off Buffy’s bra and tossing it, she followed the angle of her arm and wrist and pointed laughing at a low slung branch, and there it was the white lace garment tangled amongst the leaves.

Still laughing she got up and went to retrieve the garment, handing it to a smirking Buffy they both cracked up laughing.

“Come on B, we better go.” Faith offered her hand to Buffy as soon as she was properly dressed.

“Hey where’s Fang?” The blond asked, she has just realised that the wolf had disappeared.

Faith scanned the area quickly. “Don’t know perhaps he got horny watching us and decided to go home and give his woman a good time.” She stated wiggling her eyebrows.

“Urggh what am I gonna do with you?” Buffy poked her.

“Well I could think of a few things but lets do that later we gotta go check in with the others.”

Unbeknown to them they were being watched, Fang and his mate were stood in the cover of trees watching the slayers leave, Fang with his dark brown and white markings while his mate had tan and cream markings looked at the slayers with knowing eyes, they would see them again.
