Angelus kept delivering the blows to Spike and had the upper hand, he pushed him against a tree and growled deep in his throat “I don’t like to be disobeyed William and you know that” Spike looked at him in his game face but didn’t say a word knowing he wasn’t in a position to right now. “You have been a naughty little vampire William now havent you, shagging the slayer and trying to betray me. I think you’ve been thinking too much with this” he emphasised the word ’this’ by grabbing hold of Spikes cock and squeezing roughly. The door of the magic box swung open as Buffy, Spike and Willow walked in, “Buffy any news?” Giles was reading a book at the counter and looked up as they entered, “we did have a run in with Angel but nothing serious” she glanced at Spike and he looked away, she hadn’t said a word to him all the way to Willows and he was sure he knew the reason, she had heard everything angelus had said and seen his reaction and she was pissed ((bloody hell))



“we need to do the summoning spell Giles but theres a change of plan, we’re not going to catch him” she pulled a stake out of her pocket and looked at Spike again “I’m going to kill him” Giles, Willow, Spike and Xander who had been hiding in the back until now all looked at her in silence, shocked looks on their faces. “Buffy?” Spike arched his eyebrow at her and moved towards her but she moved away from him slightly “I’ve made up my mind Spike” she looked away from him and he grabbed her chin to force her to look at him “We need to talk pet right now” he pulled her arm and headed toward the back training room glaring at Xander as they passed.



“whats going on luv?” he tried to look her in the eyes but she turned away and looked at the floor, “Buffy?” she turned and looked up at him with tears in her eyes and stared, “What did he mean Spike? He said you were his bitch and why did you react that way to him?” Spike was stunned to silence, he didn’t think she’d be so to the point, didn’t think she’d answer him straight away. He started to pace the floor in silence trying to work out his answer, he knew he had to tell her the truth but he didn’t know how to start. “Spike? Please?”



“luv when your turned into a vampire you have no soul, you don’t really think about consequences, you want, you take and there was a lot of things Angelus wanted, I was one of them. I fought it at first of course, I was no poof but Angelus has a certain charm about him, he tried the hard way and I resisted but in the end he seduced me” he paused and looked into her eyes, the tears falling freely down her face as she listened, he looked questioningly and she gestured for him to continue.



“He was an evil bastard Buffy but he was my grandsire and I had to obey him, I fought him of course tried to find my limits but I always knew who he was and who I was and I took orders from him, I never slept with another man besides him, never wanted another one but in a sick way I loved him, he made me who I am. It was that way for over a hundred years Buffy and that’s the only reason I reacted the way I did tonight, history.”



She couldn’t stop the tears falling as she threw her arms around his waist hugging him tightly, “He cant have you Spike I wont let him, I couldn’t bear to lose you I love you” she continued to cry as he stroked her hair trying to calm her, “I love you Buffy more than anyone I’ve ever loved, you will never lose me, I promise you luv” he lifted her chin and kissed her lightly on the lips “I promise” he whispered again into her lips before kissing her again harder. She returned the kiss and ran her tongue along his bottom lip groaning, he gave her tongue access into his mouth and ran his hands under her top brushing lightly on the underside of her breast. “Buffy we have to stop, the scoobies are outside” she could tell it took a lot of effort for him to pull away but she also knew he was right and they had to get back, she kissed him again and left the room holding his hand.
