Giles jumped up when he heard the phone ring, he had fallen asleep researching the situationh Anh Angel. when he picked up the phone Willow started rambling excitedly down the other end!

"Giles did you hear me?"

"What, oh sorry Willow yes i did, are you sure?"

"one hundred percent, we checked and re-checked, if we leave him without human blood he'll be Angel again, we just needed the effects of the drug to wear off"

"yes but is there any chance your wrong? if we think he's Angel again and we're wrong it will be fatal" he took off his glasses and started to clean them. he did't even remember when that had become a habit but the rest of the scoobies pointed it out on occasion and he had become more aware of it.

"Giles we're sure, you just need to keep him caged and everything will be fine, i'll be catching the first flight out of here so i'll see you all soon, bye" she hung up and left Giles in his thoughts, he decided tll Bll Buffy and have her and Spike meet in the magicbox.



"you know watcher you could always pick a less flamable time of day to hold your scoobie meetings, some of us have an aversion to sunlight" Spike growled as he sat down waiting for the smoke around him to disappear. Buffy him him gently on the arm and smiled "play nice sweetie, Giles has something important to tell us" she turned to giles and smiled "please tell us you have something important to tell us"

"Yes well. it appears that you were right Buffy if we.."

"Wait, say that again"

"what?"

"You were right Buffy, it has a nice ring to it dont ya think" she laughed as she saw Spike roll his eyeballs at her,

"Buffy, as much as i'd like to massage your ego for a while longer can i get to the point?" he watched her bring her hand to her mouth like a lock, twist it then pretend to throw away the key. he smiled warmly at her, he didnt understand why he could never stay annoyed with her. "Right, i had a phonecall from Willow this morning and as i said it seems Buffy was right, the longer Angel goes without human blood means he will revert to his old self so we need to keep watch and make sure he doesnt get loose"

"Too late"



They all turned to see Faith sporting a blackeye and holding onto her ribs, "He's gone"

"Faith what do you mean he's gone, you let him go" Buffy made her way over to the other slayer grabbing her arm,

"B i think it's pretty safe to say i didnt let him" she gestured to her face then as she pulled her hand away she winced in pain "Faith im sorry, i didnt mean.."

"It's ok B i know"

G cam came toward them with bandages to support her ribs "What exactly happened Faith"

"I have no clue, he was just talking to me ya know, then next minute he's staring at me telling me to go to the cage and i did, just like that, i opened it then snapped out of it when his fist connected with my face and feet with my ribs then he took off"

Spike mumbled something under his breath and they all turned to face him

"What was that baby?" Buffy sat next to him and started to stroke his hair

"I said the bastard used his thrall, i havent seen him do that since just after i was sired, he always said it took the fun out of things, must have had him real desperate"

"Oh great, we're never gonna get him back, how many humans do you think he's fed off by now" Spike took hold of her hand and looked up at her "Pet you do know that we might have to kill him dont you?"

she looked into his eyes with her tear filled ones and nodded her head, any other time Spike would have been jealous but he knew it wasn't because she was in love with Angel that she didnt want to kill him it was because she used to be and that was fine by him.



After talking for an hour about what they were going to do they had all decided to get some rest and meet back up later that night ready for Willows arrival, Giles had called her cell phone and made sure she was aware of the change in situation.

Buffy had grabbed Spikes hand and led him out of the door whispering in his ear "need you now"



They burst through the door of Buffy's house kissing and pulling off eachothers clothes, Spike ran his tongue along her bottom lip and she moaned into his mouth as she pulled him towards her deepening the kiss. She finally managed to get his jeans unfastened and she frantically pulled them down before grabbing hold of his hard shaft and guiding it towards her dripping core, he didnt even need to ask if she was ready for him, the smell of her arousal was making him dizzy so he lifted her right leg over his hip and thrust into her hard. she whimpered and started to buck her hips signalling for him to move in her, he started to thrust into her quickly and bent his head to trail kisses down her neck. he loved the way she arched into his touch and gently flicked his tongue over her hardened nipple making her moan loudly.



Without disconnecting them Buffy threw her other leg around spikes waist and he pushed her against the wall by the front door, she could feel the hardness of the wall behind her but the sensations she was receiving from Spike blocked out the pain as he continued to pound into her at a pace only the slayer could take. He felt his impending release nearing so he reached inbetween them and started to rub on her clit, she started to pant heavier before her orgasm took over and she came screaming Spikes name, she rode out the waves of pleasure as she felt Spike shoot his load inside her with her name on his lips.
