Spoilers: After "Seeing Red" When Buffy told her about Spike trying to rape Buffy.
Pairing: John/Dawn
Summary: Dawn goes to the movies alone and comes back with a man
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the Buffy characters. Joss does.

"Is there anything you'd like to drink, Dawn?" John asked her.
"I could use a cup of hot coco right now, John." Dawn said to John.
"It's coming right up, Dawn." John answered back, walked to the bar and ordered two hot coco.
"Here you go, Dawn." John said and gave her a cup with hot coco.
"Thanks John." she replied and looked deep into his eyes. ""He has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen..."" Dawn thinks. She stopped thinking about Johns eyes and took a sip from her hot coco.
"Well, you see, my sister is the Slayer and she has a Vampire as a boyfriend. They had a relationship together. The kind of secretive relationship. She didn't even tell me nor her friends." Dawn told John.
"Well well, naughty girl that sister is."
"And one night...." Dawn stopped and took another sip from her hot coco. When she looked at John again, her eyes were full of tears...
John tried to comfort her. "You can tell me, Dawn."
Dawns voice turned into a sobbish whisper. "He tried to rape my sister in the bathroom!" she sobbishly whispered.
""I didn't know it was that bad."" John thought. His hands touched her eyes, wiping all the tears away. "It's okay, Dawn."
"NO, it's NOT! That guy has always been my friend. He always talked with me and did stuff. I can't believe he's the same person!"
John hugged Dawn. "Don't worry, Dawn. I'm here."
"And when that happened, he left town."
"Dawn, you told me enough. I will be there for you."
Dawns eyes lit up. "You will? Really?"
It was that moment that Johns lips caught Dawns lips.
They kissed for the first time and they both loved it.
