Buffy's eyes widened.
Did Angel just defend her against Giles?
Her demon emerged once again as she pointed a shaking finger at her watcher.
"I love you, I care for you, but I can't allow you to stake me!"
Giles: It's like I said Buffy, I have a duty to fullfill.
"Duty?"
Giles: What do you think will happen if the council gets a hold of you? I can guarantee that your death will not go unpunished.
'Or without pain.............'
"Well, that is just too bad isn't it?"
Giles: This is no joking matter Buffy!
"Don't make me hurt you Giles."
She can feel it. The call of her demon. It was starting to kick the soul into submission.
Giles: That is exactly what I'm saying. Your demon, if you let it take over....................
"Won't happen!"
Not even waiting for a response, she turned around and stomped out of the room.
