The God Awful Truth
How did William the Bloody become such a bane in his existence?
Darla had stood her ground when it came to him teaching William. She stood firm because she was head of their family and she wanted to be the one to keep her youngest in line. She felt that it was in all of their best interest for one such as herself to handle the training part. Not that she felt he couldn't do it. Oh, he knew how, he was just too stubborn to admit it.
Darla wanted control over this situation. The more he allowed his charge to dive into his violent/destructive ways, the more she felt obligated to handle the job herself.
This time, it was his fault.
They were forced underground because William had caused quite a scene. Chased by a mob, driven out by the mob! My god, he was Angelus, the Scourge of Europe, not some hapless wonder boy!
"Jesus, what did you do to set them off like that boy!?!"
When he used the name "boy", it was bad for William. It always is.
William: Sire, these people were giving Dru a hard time an' I'll tell you what. I'll bleeding kill em' fore they get the chance!
