Chapter 2
Nevio watched the sleep-like face of his childe, so beautiful. From past experience he knew that his childe would be out for a whiled yet. Bending over he placed a kiss on his forehead. Xander’s eyes snapped open and flashed green. Moving faster then a newly turned vampire should, Xander snapped his Sire’s neck causing a pile of dust to fall over him. Mentally, the demon let out a howl of pain at the loss of his Sire, and Zhenga was giving her insane like laugh. She was the one in control and Xander was doing something he never thought he would. He was trying to comfort the upset demon.
It was weird being in a room in his mind with three others but if living on the hellmouth had taught him anything, it was the ability to adapt. The Demon or Dem as Xander had started calling him was rocking back and forth. “Shh Dem, it will be Okay.”
“Sire, sorry sire, didn’t want to, forgive me sire,” Dem repeated over and over.
“It will be okay Dem, you’ll see. He wouldn’t have been a good Sire for us. In fact I bet Spike would have been better, and that’s saying something.” Xander tried to reassure the sad demon.
“Spike Sire?” Dem asked.
“Yes, Spike would make a better Sire, so no more crying okay, he’s not worth it.”
Dem just nodded. Xander gave him one more searching look before focusing on the other members of his mind. Soldier Harris was pacing in his corner muttering about procedures and necessary risks. Shaking his head Xander looked for the Hyena. Zhenga was finding a way out of the house that the Vampire had dragged him to, so he had no desire to take back control from her at the moment. When they were free and safe would he worry about who had control. For now he was content to lay on the couch and if Dem wanted to cuddle who was he to say no.
A.N. So yeah I am still having issues with Chapter 9 of spelled mate but I am hopeing to have it out by tommorrow. So what do you guys thinks so far, any good or should I just erase it all and start over? I live for reviews so if you want me to continue, please let me know.
