“Buffy you have to come to The Bronze tonight!” Xander said looking at Buffy pleadingly.
“The Bronze?” Buffy asked in confusion.
“Night club…not to classy but its where everyone goes to hang.” Willow chipped in.
“Umm…okay. I’ll come.” Buffy nodded.
“Great how about Willow comes to call you and then she can show you to The Bronze.” Xander beamed.
“Uh yeah sure. You know Revello Drive?” Buffy asked turning to Willow.
“Know it? Buffy I live two doors down from you.” Willow laughed when she saw the surprised look on Buffy’s face.
“You’re the only new people in town and I saw a delivery van and stuff go to 1630...Mr Freeman’s old house.”
“Wow! Cool so what time you coming over?” Buffy asked getting excited about going out with her new friends. Especially Willow.
“Is eight okay?”
“That’s fine.”
“Okay see ya later!” Xander nodded before riding off.
“So...wanna walk home?” Buffy asked Willow.
“Sure.”
“So how’d you like your first day?” Willow asked looking down at the floor. She still wasn’t able to look at Buffy without gawking or blushing so she just kept her head down.
“It was bad to begin with what with Snyder and Cordelia but it’s ended better than I could imagine.” Buffy smiled.
“I honestly thought you’d all bail as soon as you found out I was…unconventional. You guys are pretty cool.” Buffy nodded.
“We weren’t gunna shun you just for being…” Willow trailed off not able to say the word and flushing.
“You can say gay Will.” Buffy laughed at the innocence of her.
“Yeah well that. Its brave being that honest.” Willow said quietly making Buffy smile.
“Thanks, your pretty brave too considering you’re a girl. Guys never freak out about it but girls…they think im going to infect them or something.” Buffy snorted.
“How can people still be like that?!” Willow scowled.
“God knows…well here we are. See you later?” Buffy asked with a smile.
“Yeah sure.”
And with a smile on her face Buffy trotted on to her house unable to wipe the smile from her face.

Later that night Willow made her way nervously over to Buffy’s house and knocked the door. Why did she have butterflies and feel so nervous? When she found out Buffy was into girls she had felt like fainting. She had been struggling to expel any thoughts of girls from her head and Buffy’s admission just brought them closer to the surface. She had spent the last couple of hours thinking about the tiny blonde and how beautiful she was. She thought about her so much that her hand had slipped into her panties a few times without realising it and just the memory of it made her face burn.
The door opened suddenly dashing her thoughts and she smiled when she saw Angel standing there.

“Who is it Angel?” A female voice called from the living room.
“Buffy’s date!” Angel called back with a smirk watching as Willow’s mouth dropped open and her face went an almost purple colour.
“Angel! Leave Willow alone! Im so sorry Will…doffus.” Buffy snapped hitting her brother on the back of his head while their mother walked into the hallway.
“I didn’t know you had a date tonight Buffy? Already?” Joyce laughed smiling warmly at the pretty red head standing in the doorway.
“I don’t have one! Its just Angel being a grade A asshole. This is Willow a friend I made today.” Buffy sighed introducing Willow to her mother.
“Oh. Angel really! Its nice to meet you Willow.” Joyce smiled nodding at the girl who had calmed somewhat.

“Im sorry it was just a joke.Sorry.” Angel smiled looking anything but. Now Willow had calmed down enough to think again her mind went blank as she took in what Buffy was wearing. A short black mini skirt and a white lacy top with heels that gave her a bit of added height. The smoky make up she was wearing made her look even better and Willow gulped nervously when a flash of Buffy’s toned stomach was revealed as she shrugged her coat on.
“Be back later mom. Come on Will.” Buffy rushed, taking her by the elbow and rushing out.
“Sorry about that my brother enjoys torturing me.” She grumbled as they slowly made their way towards The Bronze.
“No problem. So your mom knows about the whole gay thing huh?” Willow asked slightly in awe of Buffy. She knew exactly what she was, she was happy and didn’t seem to mind what people thought of her unless they were her friends.
“Well yeah. When I brought my girlfriends home it kinda gave her a hint.” She laughed.
“So how long have you known for?” Willow asked. It seemed like they had talked about this all day but Buffy understood that they were all curious. Apparently no one in their school had ever come out and Buffy had to laugh at that. Guaranteed in college that would change. She didn’t mind answering the question because she knew that they were just curious and plus…Willow…well she had a very funny feeling about Willow.

“Since forever really…I don’t think there was a point when I just said. I am gay.” Buffy shrugged.
“So have you ever had a boyfriend?” Willow asked.
“Yeah…Pike. He was the guy that made me finally admit it and to just go with it.” Buffy smiled.
“Yeah? How?”
“Okay no judging okay? I know I was young but I was really confused. I knew I wasn’t straight…I admitted it to myself but I was still thinking maybe it was a faze. I’d been going out with Pike for a year and on my fourteenth birthday we…well…” Buffy finished giving Willow raised eyebrows. Willow realised what she was saying and gasped.
“Yeah I know. Young, but I was just trying to prove I wasn’t gay and still liked guys but…Pike was great. He was caring and everything a guy should be but I felt absolutely nothing. The next morning I woke up and I couldn’t deny it anymore. He was the first person I told.” Buffy revealed.
“Really? What did he say?” Willow laughed wondering what a guy would do after they had sex with their girlfriend for the first time and she woke up and said she was a lesbian.
“He said he understood. He was so sweet. He said he loved me anyway even if it was as a friend and he’s still my friend now.” Buffy smiled.
“Wow. He’s understanding.” Willow chuckled.
“Yeah he is…so what about you? Any guys on your front? Or girls?” Buffy added with a smirk watching as the blush creeped up her face once again.
“No. No guys or girls. No one of any kind.” Willow laughed nervously.
“Why not?” Buffy asked looking at her curiously.
“Im not the kinda girl guys like to date.” Willow said quietly looking down at her feet.
“See that’s the reason I gave up on men their all idiots.” Buffy joked.
“You think men are all idiots cause they don’t want to date me?” Willow repeated giving Buffy a uncertain look.
“I think anyone who doesn’t want to date you is an idiot.” Buffy corrected.
“I…well…thanks.” Willow settled for coughing to hide her embarrassment at the compliment.
“No problem at all. I have no problems complimenting a beautiful girl.” Buffy grinned.
Oh yeah. I love that blush.

“Well Buffy I am in awe!” Xander grinned raking his eyes over the blonde in wonder.
“Why thank you.” Buffy smiled curtseying him.
“Dance with me? I wanna show off that I can dance with the hottest thing in the room.” Xander beamed holding out his hand and leading her into the crowd. He saw every guy from school shoot him looks of jealousy and loathing and he just grinned wider. Buffy was obviously never going to be interested in him and he did just think of her as a friend now but he was a guy and he knew exactly how sexy she looked right now and he couldn’t wait to get his own back on the damn football team by being seen dancing with her while they sat their with their little cheerleading clones that paled completely to Buffy.
“Man isn’t that Angel’s sister?” Riley asked in awe watching as the tiny blonde moved and thrust her hips in time to the beat.
“Yeah…dude she is so hot. Look at her. Bet she knows her way around a mattress.” Parker grinned watching as she rubbed herself against the loser Xander Harris.
“Oh please! Buffy!? She’s a freak! She threw away our friendship for those losers.” Cordelia snapped. She was fuming mad. First Buffy had humiliated her in front of everyone by hanging around with those freaks, then Angel her stupid brother had turned her down when she had offered him an hour in the supply closet and now everyone’s focus was on Buffy and not herself. Today was a terrible day.

By the time Xander and Buffy made it back to their table they were both panting and sweaty.
“Have a good time?” Willow asked with a grin while Jesse clapped Xander on the back.
“The best. You have some nice moves Buff.” Xander chuckled.
“Thanks. I love dancing.” Buffy smiled. It always made her happy and she took a long gulp of her coke before trying to get her breath back.
“Well me and Xander are going to mingle. Find some hotties time.” Jesse said clapping his hands together before heading off with Xander in tow.
“Are they always that…strange?” Buffy asked.
“They only get stranger.” Willow laughed.

The boys didn’t come back for another hour and Buffy spent that time talking and laughing with Willow. Loads of guys kept coming up and asking her to dance but she turned everyone down, focusing all her attention on Willow. She had so much in common with her and she was so funny Buffy’s stomach hurt from how much she had laughed. The more she talked with her the more closer they got till eventually they were pressed against each other side by side. When Willow noticed just how tightly pressed together their thighs were her breath hitched and she looked up at Buffy to see if she noticed. She saw something in the blondes eyes she had never seen before in anyone but before she had time to see what it was Xander and Jesse showed up again with sad looks on their faces after being turned down by every girl in the place. Just a usual night at The Bronze.

“So did you have fun?” Willow asked as they came to a stop outside her house.
“Yeah it was great…I’ll see you at school tomorrow?” Buffy asked.
“Of course. I’ll come call you if you like.” Willow offered.
“Hell yeah. See you in the morning then.” Buffy smiled giving Willow a hug. They both felt the electric buzz that went through them but both ignored it, walking back to their respective houses with uncertain smiles on their faces.

“So…Willow huh?”
Buffy looked up from where she was brushing her hair in the mirror and sighed when she saw Angel standing in the doorway of her bedroom.
“Get out of my room jerk.” Buffy said with irritation in her voice.
“Not in your room im in the hall. Public domain.” Angel smirked.
“I really hate you.” Buffy sighed.
“Nah you don’t. So seriously. Willow?” Angel asked coming to sit on her bed.
“She’s just a friend.” Buffy shrugged moving around her room to put away her lotions and hair brushes.
“That wasn’t the friend look you had in your eyes when you saw her at the door.” Angel stated with a raised eyebrow.
“Okay…she’s sweet but she’s straight.” Buffy said shrugging once more as if it didn’t matter.
“She looked t you the same way.”
“She did?” Buffy asked turning hopeful eyes to her brother.
“From where I was standing yeah…she doesn’t strike me as your usual type.” Angel said with a hint of surprise in his voice.
“And what’s my type?” Buffy asked with a small smile.
“Brunette, bitchy…Cordelia-like.” Angel laughed.
“Oh please…Faith and Kennedy…they are the only brunettes i’ve ever dated!” Buffy laughed.
“Hmm point taken. Well…let me know what happens with Willow okay? I don’t like being left out of the loop when it comes to you…she hurts you and we’ll be having words.” Angel warned trying to do a threatening face that made him look like he was constipated. Buffy laughed and just sat down next to him giving him a quick kiss.
“Thanks Angel.”
“No problem. Night Buff.”
“Goodnight Angel.”
