Christmas shopping
Yeah a I know I know, it's short but I'm getting there. I'm always at a loss for inspiration for fluffy humour fics. So bear with me and hopefully the seasonal bug will hit and I'll be pouring it out to you!!

Four days previous. “I can’t thank you enough Willow; I don’t have the first clue about shopping, especially for B!” The red head just smiled at her,
“Really Faith, it’s no big deal. Just what sort of things are you looking for anyway?”
Faith walked on face contorted in deep thought, “I’m not kinda sure, I want to get her something kinda cute, or funny. But I definitely have to get her this dress she has been drooling over for like ever!”
The icy wind blew through the street as they walked, “But right now I could go for a steaming coffee, how about you?” Willow pulled at her coat even tighter and nodded as her nose turned a brighter shade of red.
Inside the coffee shop was warm and homely, kind of like a mini snow lodge. There were decorations everywhere, including fake snow on almost every ledge. Classic Christmas music played in the background as mild lighting gave the room that little ambiotic glow. The two women found a small table near the faux open fire, removing their coats Willow sat rubbing her hands to try and renew any warmth.
“What do you fancy? My treat since you’re helping me and all, coffee?” Faith stood her face a little flushed from the cold outside.
Willow made a little face at the thought of the drink, Faith tried not to laugh, “How about a coco instead?” The red heads face lit up,
“With the little marshmallows and sprinkles, and sugar?” her grin filled her face,
“Sure Red what ever you want! Need to keep your energy up for the day ahead,” Faith soon returned with their order and took her seat opposite.
Faith was absentmindedly sipping on her steaming coffee when Willow spoke, “So when you say something kind of cute for Buffy, what do you have in mind?” While she waited for Faith’s answer she sipped on the coco trying to catch elusive marshmallows.
“I dunno, maybe some lingerie?” Willow almost spat out her mouthful of the chocolate as she coughed on Faith’s reply,
“Shit! Are you alright?” Willow nodded rubbing her throat as she tried to get her breath back.
“Well what kind?” Faith looked at the witch over her coffee with raised eyebrows,
“You never told me about this little wicked side Willow! Well you’re her best friend, what do you suggest?” Willow shuffled closer to Faith so she could talk a little more intimately, people had begun to stare after Willow had choked on her coco.
“Buffy likes to feel special; your best bet is to find something unique. Something that seems like it was made just for her. The dress is a pretty good idea, but you need to look for something that shows how much you care about her.” Faith sat nodding as she took all the advice on board.
A little later on the two women finished up with their drinks and once more donned their jackets. Willow covered herself in her knitwear and instinctively shivered as they looked outside.
“Alright Will, time to go!” Faith grabbed her arm and dragged the two of them out into the cold.
“So where do think we should go first?” Faith had looped her arm around the red heads as they headed into the mall.
A few hours later the sun had set and the town had descended into darkness. The shop lights cast a hazy glow onto the street. The giant Christmas tree in the square lit up like an equally huge beacon
“Well I think that’s everything. I can’t thank you enough Willow. I’d still be stuck if I was doing this on my own!” Faith shot a huge energetic smile at the shivering witch.
“N, n, n, no problem, can we just get somewhere warm now?” Faith threw her head back laughing,
“Of course we can my cars just around the corner.”
The two girls got into the car, as promised Faith pumped up the heat before pulling away. “Can I ask you one last favour Willow?” She yawned before turning to her.
“Sure, what’s up?”
“Well, if I know Buffy right she’ll find them by accident no doubt on one of her cleaning sprees. So could I hide them at your place?”
She yawned again as she nodded, “Cool, thanks.” Willow rested her head against the window and drifted off into sleep.
That morning Faith and Buffy lazed in bed after a particularly long night of slaying that led to an inevitable long night of, well I’m sure you get the picture. Faith lay on her side, as did Buffy; they stayed like this just gazing at each other.
“So what are your plans for the day Faith?” She smiled back at her blonde lover,
“Well I was hoping for a day of chilling out. What about you?” Buffy rose from the bed and sauntered to the closet making sure Faith was watching her extreme nakedness.
“I’m meeting Willow for lunch, and then we are going to pick a tree and decorate the house.” Faith held a sarcastic look on her face as Buffy turned to face her, “Yes Faith. Both-of-us.” With extra emphasis.
“Fine, fine. Gives me some time to go sharpen my axe.” Faith lay back down into the bed.
“You don’t want to pick one off a lot?” Buffy shot a perplexed look at the darker woman.
“B are you serious?? I’ll go out today while you spend time with Willow and scout out a few in the forest outta town. When you get back you can choose one. Hows that sound?”
Buffy walked back to the bed and lent over her, “Sounds great,” she briefly pecked Faith on the lips before disappearing into the shower.
