Preparations
Disclaimer: As much as I wish I owned Spike and had him… well anyway, don’t own any characters except Nikki who is me lol. Joss if you wanna give Spike over though…..
Pairings: Spike/Nikki, Dru/Nikki, Spike/Dru/Nikki. NC-17 all the way baby.
I had a great dream the other night and decided to base a story on it. The character 'Nikki' is me!

“Dru!” Nikki screamed as she was ripped from her grasp, a look of terror on the vampire’s face that she knew reflected her own as she disappeared into a portal. Before she could move to follow Spike held her fast to him by her arms.
“Wait! He wants you to follow her, and we will I swear it, but he won’t hurt her till he has you. We need to get you sorted, Pet. You can’t help ‘er like this, and I think we’re gonna need you, if you can face it?” Spike knew she had been through a lot, would of known even if she hadn’t shown him, but also sensed a strength in her, greater than Red’s and Buffy’s combined, times a hundred.
“OK, you’re right. I can still sense her and she’s not far. I need to be ready…” Nikki took a deep breath and attempted to stand on very shaky legs, she was in no small amount of pain but knew she had to fight through it, her Dru needed her and she was not going to let that Bastard win. “.. I’m sorry, but I’m going to need your help, I know you don’t know me but….” Angel hushed her with a wave of his hand a smile that made her realise what Dru saw in him, passed the bloodshed. They had shared memories through some sort of psychic link for weeks before she had to summon her for help, she just hoped she would get to explain to her why one day.
“Of course we will help you, whether you came with Dru or not. Spike has seen your memories so it’s probably best you tell him what it is you need so you don’t have to go through anything twice. You can have Suite 5 on the Top floor, and write a list of any magical supplies you need - we can get you anything you need within hours. Is that ok?” Angel was worried at the almost blank look on her face as she dealt with the pain that was obviously trying to overwhelm her. But then she straightened, and even with the wince on her face the look in her eyes would even of frightened Angelus.
“I will be ready, have no fear of that, what that ‘man’….” she spat the word with distain “.. did to me was nothing to what will be exacted on him and to the lackey’s he hired. Give me an hour to clean up, if you have any clothes I would be grateful, and then perhaps I can meet everyone Dru has told me so much about? Then I can tell my story to all of you together? Spike, can you take me to some medical supplies first, I have some wounds that need tending to before my magic could have time to heal them.” And with that she left the room, slowly but with her held high, although both men knew she was only holding on by a thread.
“Do you think they will both be alright, Sire?” Spike spoke quietly, knowing that Angel could hear him. It had been over a Century since he had called Angel that, but their relationship was slowly being rebuilt and he felt especially under the circumstances, it was time to connect with family again. Besides it was fun to watch the surprise on Angel’s face!
“I do William, both are stronger than we have given them credit for I think. I would also like to know who the ‘two’ that protect her are! Get the key from Harmony and help her, I will see you back here in an hour.” Two could play at that game, thought Angel, as he called him William. Although it didn’t have the expected effect as Spike only raised an eyebrow at him in recognition of the name, and then nodded as he walked out.

“Here we are, Luv. One key, one vamp, no waiting.” Spike tried to smile as they entered the lift together a few minutes later, having had to deal with Harmony’s questions first. He took one look at Nikki and realised this was going to be tough, he was already attracted to her and there was no chance after what had happened to her! Why’d he always go for the loopy or unavailable ones, he smacked himself upside the head mentally as they reached the Suite.

Authors Note: Sorry it’s taken so long, to be honest the first chapter was as far as my imagination took me so taken a while for me to realise I wanted to turn it into something much more. Any good?
