Chapter Two
When Buffy got home, she decided to just go to sleep and wait for the morning to pack.
**That Morning**
Buffy awoke to a loud knock at the door.
“Come in”
“Buffy Giles Called. He said there was a problem and you needed to get over to the magic box right after you finished packing” said willow.
“Did he say what the problem was?”
“No just that he needed me and you to get there quickly”
“Ok I guess I’ll start packing…. Wills?”
“Yeah Buffy”
“What do you pack to got to a nudist colony?”
“Anything but clothes?”
“Lots of sun block?”
**Magic Box**
Buffy walked into the magic box to see everyone at the table researching.
“Is there a new big bad tell me there’s a new big bad anything to keep me from going to that damn place is welcome”
“Nope luv still the same big bad” spike said as he came up from the basement.
“Spike incase you haven’t noticed you not BIG nor BAD”
Spike walked to over to Buffy and whispered in her ear.
“Now luv you know that’s a lie. In fact you know first hand I am BIG.”
Buffy blushed and sat down at the table with the rest.
“So Giles what’s the problem”
“Well I’ve discovered that at these colonies a lot of things happen out doors during the day, and you see spike cant go out during the day, so we must find a spell that will allow him to be outside under the sun.”
“Well I just leave him here and pick Angel up on my way to the colony”
“Like bloody hell you will! You and Angel aren’t go to be with in 100 bloody yards of each other if I have anything to say about it”
“Somebody’s jealous. Aww poor Spikey.”
“I’m not jealous of that wanker.” spike said as he went to sulk but NOT BROOD never brood! In the corner.
“Well what have you found so far?”
“ Um well we have found one spell and it’s a bit…odd you see the slayer has to willingly let the vampire feed from her.,” replied Giles
“well since there’s no way Buffy would let him bite her we need to keep looking” added Xander.
“How much blood does it need?”
“Buffy surely your not thinking about letting him bite you.”
“Giles if it will help save people I will”
“Bloody hell I’m not biting the slayer”
“Why spike I thought you would do anything to have a chance to bite someone one last time, especially slayer blood I hear it’s a delicacy, oh but wait that pesky little chip wont let you, hmm oh well lets keep looking.” said Xander
“Shut your bloody mouth whelp! I’m not worried about the pain I’m just worried about what I would do after I drank from her slayer blood is pretty powerful I might do something I’ll regret or that she will” spike said the last part with a little bit of venom in it.
“Spike I can handle myself and we don’t have to to sit around and wait for another Gem of Amara to turn up!”
“Well it’s your fault we don’t have it in the first place!” spike shouted
“Will both of you just shut up! Your scaring the money away!” yelled Anya
“Don’t you mean customers?” asked Xander
“Well those too”
“Can we just get back to the problem at hand?” asked Buffy
“Buffy I’ve gone through every vampire related spell I could find and so far there’s only the one.”
“That’s fine wills we will just have to do that one, like I said I will do anything to stop these vamps if that requires spike taking a little bit of blood so be it.”
“Buffy I really wish you would think about what your doing slayer’s blood can have devastating aftereffects.”
“Giles I know what I’m doing, it wouldn’t be the first time a vampires gotten some of my blood.”
“Buffy the more slayer blood a ire ire has had the worst the outcome.”
“Yeah watchers right and I’ve had quite a bit in my day.,” added spike
“Everything went alright when Angel drank from me and I can handle my self, I’m the slayer and plus I’ve kicked spikes ass so many times we have nothing to worry about I can totally take him.”
“Oh is that right pet? You can take me?” spike asked as he walked towards buffy. Spike stood behind her and whispered in her ear. “I seem to remember it differently because I’m sure I was taking you a few times the other night.” Buffy turned a deep shade of red and smiled. When she looked up, she saw willow looking at her with an eyebrow raised. Buffy just ignored the look willow gave her and went on fighting with spike.
“Willow does spike actually have to bite buffy or can she cut herself and give him the blood?” asked Giles
“He has to bite her, and she has to willingly let him or it wont work.”
“Well what else do we need wills, cause its getting dark and we need to leave to make the reservation.”
“Buffy are you sure you want to do this?”
“Willow I’m positive. It’s the only way”
“Well I don’t need anything else except a circle for you two to stand in” as willow got ready for the spell buffy went to talk to spike.
“You ready for this?” asked buffy
“No. Bloody hell buffy I could lose control and drain you!”
“No you wont. I trust you”
Spike did not know what to say to that so he just went along with it.
“Ok then lets get this over with”
“Ok guys come over here and stand in the middle of the circle” buffy and spike did exactly as told.
“Hold up, buffy take this just incase I lose control” spike said as he handed buffy a stake.
“Ok but I’m not going to need it.”
“You might pet.”
“Ok buffy spike when I start the spell you need to bite her but it has to be right when I start so you might want to get ready.”
They got in position, buffy giving spike the sihat hat was unbitten. Spike place a gentle kiss on Buffy’s neck where he was going to bite. Willow started the spell and spike began to drink. Buffy grabbed on to his shoulders and closed her eyes.
*OK now I really have to be dreaming no bloody way did she just moan in pleasure to me biting her, when buffy moaned again he felt himself start to lose control, just when his demon was about to take over he heard something. Like a clash of thunder and then buffy and spike were suddenly pulled apart and tossed out of the circle.
“Bloody hell red what was that”
“Sorry I didn’t know it was going to do that”
“S’ok” after that everyone noticed buffy hadn’t gotten up.
“What’s wrong with her what did you do?” yelled Xander picking up the discarded stake and walking towards spike.
“What did you do?” he asked again
“He didn’t do anything Xander put the stake down,” Buffy said as she got up.
“The blood loss plus hitting my head just kind of knocked me out.”
“Are you sure you ok?”
“I’m fine”
“Well let’s see if it works, spike walk outside”
“I bloody hell will not! What if it didn’t work?”
“Can I push him can I please can I” asked Xander
“Shut you glob whelp!”
“Spike walk outside you big baby”
“Toss me something to cover myself incase it didn’t work” buffy tossed him a sheet from one of the displays. Spike walked outside and stopped expecting to be burned, but nothing happened.
“It worked,” said spike mostly in disbelief
“It worked,” repeated Buffy relieved that her slaying partner wouldn’t fit in an ashtray.
“Why wouldn’t it work?” asked willow a little hurt
“Well its just your spells tend to go wrong, remember the do thy will spell?”
“Well I guess we should get going need to make those reservations” Buffy and spike said goodbye and got into the Desoto and started on there way to there fun filled weekend at Shady Pine Adult Resort.
