CHAPTER 2
"I'm Comming Out..."
Xander paced in front of his mirror. He was thinking of his great night with Spike and how he had had crush on him fometometime now. He looked at his reflection, and felt determined to tell his friends about him and Spike.
"OK, I know I've been a little irratible lately. You need to know why. Found out I was gay and didn't know how to tell you. No that's not right." He shakes his head and looks into the mirror again. "Hey, guys. I'm gay! Oh yeah, that's a great way to break it to them. OK...Willow, Tara, Dawn; Spike and I have taken a fancy to eachother...just kill me now. Im starting to talk like the bloody bastard." Xander rolls his eyes and looks away, breathing in and out, wondering how to break this to his friends. His family wouldn't care, they don't care about him much. He turns to look back at the mirror. "Will, Tara you know how you two love eachother? Well...Spike and I found out we...love eachother. I'am gay! Yahoo! OK Spike can turn me into a vamp right here and now and Buffy can stake me!
"My god...OK OK...Dawn, Tara, and Will...I need to tell you something...I love Spike. Yup, Im gay and it's thanks to him...I mean he made me realize it...or ok Im bisexual because of him. Is that better? Gawd...we can go get Spike de-chipped and then *he* can kill me." He rolls his eyes and goes out to his living room, and out the door. He gets in his car and drives all the way to Buffy's house.

Xander walks up to her door, and knocks, Buffy answers. "Hey Xand, come in, they're all
waiting in the living room."
"Thanx Buff," said Xander. Xander walks into her living room. He was surprised to see Anya there too. They were all watching some movie. He walks in and turns off the tv. They all look up at him confused and angry. Anya was the first to say something.
"Hey, it was finally getting good...," she says. "Oh, I think he has something important to say. That's the only reason he turned off the TV right? Otherwise he's just being rude."
"Ahn...," Xander started, then rolled his eyes. "Yeah its important." He sits down on a chair in front of the TV. "It's very important and I feel you all need to know. Well you know how I haven't seemed like myself lately..."
They all nod at him. "Well...," he goes on. "There's a really good and almost funny
explanation for it...I'am gay, and in love with Spike."
Things got really quiet and then Dawn stood up. "Really? You and Spike?...Cool. I mean well its actually weird, but then again I saw the way you two looked achotchother. I knew something was comming...I mean I could definately sense something." She grins and then sits back down.
"So...does that mean we're through," Anya said. "I mean I thought you loved me...and now you love Spike...Im surprised I didn't think something like this could happen. I've seen it happen a few times in all my years as a vengence demon, didn't think it was that common. And then it happens to me. Me of all people..." She glares up at Xander, gets up and walks out. Xander looks over at Willow and Tara who had been
quiet through it all. They smile at him.
"Well I-I-I think it's cool," Tara said.
"Thanks, Tara," Xander said.
She nods and smiles then Willow looks up at him. "Yeah its way cool. But we're pretty
biased and all cuz, y'know being gay ourselves."
Xander nods. "Yeah...I think I should let Anya have some time to herself to think all this new info through...I don't wanna preach to her or anything if she's mad. I mean I did the right thing by telling her, right? It's better than leading her on, right?..."
"Oh definately," Willow stated a-matter-of-factly. "You totally did the right thing.
Leading someone on like that is never good." She shakes her head and then rests her head on
Tara's shoulder.
Dawn picked up the remote and turned the TV back on and their movie was over. "Great...it's over," she said.
Xander looked over at her. "Sorry Dawnie...I'll make up ft." t."
"How?"
"I'll treat you to a movie. You can pick and we'll go and have a nice time. OK?"
"OK." She smiles up at him and then gets up and goes to her room.
"OK then...," Xander said and clapped his hands. "Guess Im out of here." He turns and walks out and heads off to Spike's crypt.
