Thosehosen Two... Plus One

*So this is what dyin feels like. Huh. Gotta say, for a homicidal psycho killer like me I thought it'd be a lot more violent and painful. But it's actually kinda... Nice. Peaceful almost. Damn, I'm so sleepy.*
With those final thoughts, every fibre of Faith's being shut down. It was like someone clicked her off switch. And as it happened, a part of her force that made her the slayer slipped out of her, set on making it's way to someone else. Someone new.

*Shit this is really really bad. This thing's gonna kill me!* I almost made it to the edge of the dock when that thing grabbed me and pulled me back, keeping me held by the throat. Up close it was even more horrifying than I had thought before. It's face was deformed somehow, around it's nose and eyebrows.

And the teeth, god help me I thought I was gonna piss my pants... It held it's grip on me, coming around so my back was to it, all the while never releasing the pressure grip on my throat. Then, I felt the teeth, sink into me, violating me. The pain was unreal, burning, like the blood that was leaving was on fire somehow. My eyelids began to drop when out of nowhere came a gust of wind. It blew straight threw me, filling me. And as fast as it had appeared, it was gone. But it left something in me, a strength I had never felt. Power.

Anger rose up in me when I realised this thing was gonna kill me before I realized what this new exhilirating feeling was doin to me. My free hands went to work, reaching over my head gripping the monster and throwing over me onto the ground. His teeth took a parting gift, in the shape of a big hunk of my flesh. Somehow, I ignored the pain and stood over the animal below me.

"What was that about freak, huh? Ya just go around biting people? It's kinda rude, I gotta tell ya..." It looked up at me, his eyes registering fear and shock.

"No, it's not possible. N-not another one?!" With that he jumped up and ran away like I was some kinda three headed monter with razor sharp teeth or somethin.

"This is not my night... Fuck, the girl!"

I had forgotten all about her, shit. I ripped off my full length leather coat and threw onto my bags. *Gonna ruin my favourite leather pants, but here goes.* I dove into the dark water, trusting the moon to help my eyes but it turns out I don't need the help. I search for her, and the first thing I see are is her wide open eyes and mouth.

*Aw no, I'm too late.* I swim to her, pull her to me and drag her to the surface. I throw her over my shoulder and climbed up the ladder to ground level. I gently but quickly put her on the ground and put my ear to her chest, not expecting and gettgetting a heartbeat. *Shit Shit Shit* I started CPR, not knowing if it would make a difference, but Idid know I had to try.

*She's too beautiful to die, she needs to live. I can feel it, somethin needs her alive.* I bought my mouth to hers and my hands pressed her chest time and again but with no results. My hope just faded, when suddenly I hear coughing, i see movement. Her eyes are open!

"Holy shit are you alright? I thought you were lost for a sec there, thank God!" She looked around her eyes searching the area.

"Where's the guy who pushed me in, what happened?" She looked scared and confused, I held her hand in hopes of calming her down.

"I wouldn't exactly call it a guy girlfriend, did you see that thing's teeth? But it just ran away, screamin somethin about another one? Are you alright, how do ya feel?"

I was wrong in thinkin she might've calmed down but she only looked more confused and frightened. She was shivering so I reached over and put my coat around her, snapping her outta the trance she was in.

"Uh, yeah I'm fine. Listen do you feel different, like in an extra strengthy way? Wait, major thanks! You saved my life! Oh my god, remind me to thank you every day!"

I blushed, remembering I was still holding her hand I let it drop and said, "Hell yeah I feel strong! how'd ya think I got ya outta the water?! And hey no problem. And I cant say I saved your life either, you were already dead when I brought ya outta the water... Somethin wrong?"

Her eyes were locked on mine but she was somewhere else, serious written all over her face. "Um no, just explains a few things is all."

"Explains what?" She shook off her dazed expression and for the first time, really looked into my eyes. I was stunned, they were so deep and inviting.

"Well your strength for one, and why that vamp hightailed it outta here for another."

" up up a sec, did you just say vamp? As in vampire?" My world was bein thrown in the trash and a new one seemed to be seeping slowly in, making everything loofferfferent. Except her. I saw in her somethin I realised was now in me, and she made me feel safe, relaxed.

"Um, yeah but don't think about it too much. I'll explain everything later but right now we need to get outta hear. Lemme take ya home, uh..."

"Jamie, and i kinda don't have a home at the moment." She lo at at me, raising one eyebrow. "I got dumped and evicted tonight, karma's tryin to fuck me over girlfriend. So what do you go by?"

She smirked at me, her chocolate eyes shining. "Name's Faith." She just looked at me for a few seconds, before continuing. "Girlfriend, I say that all the time too huh. Oh yeah, I can take care of that evicted thing for ya J.Not so sure about the dumped part though. Men huh?" She stood up slowly before losing her leg power.

With inhuman reflexesas ras right there to catch her. "Uh, actually it was a girl that dumped my ass." I smirked, not knowing what to expect.

"Oh, fair enough. New recruit swings for the other team, cant hurt..." She smiles and I can't read it. Flirty? Shy? Accepting? I honestly don't know. And what did she mean *recruit*?

"C'mon, lemme take ya home. there's someone you need to talk to."

"Aight, if it'll gimme some answers I cant say no!" I make sure she can stand alone before reaching down and picking up my bags.

"Lemme help J." In an attempt to carry both herself and one of my bags, Faith almost topples over and again, I'm there to catch her. I put my arm around her waist, holding her up, and we began walking away from the scene where my life as I knew it had ended.
