Movie Fest
Notes: Xander and Buffy have a movie night.
This part is PG but it's sort of a missing scene from Roomies

Buffy poured the microwave popcorn into a bowl and took it into the living room where Xander was waiting for her. Buffy had a big night of martial art movie watching planned out. She had hoped both Xander and Willow would be able to make it. She managed to get Xander to spend one night away from Cordy but Willow had said she needed to tutor Faith again.
“Which one you wanna watch first?” Xander asked while holding up two videotapes, “’Iron Monkey’ or ‘Ashes of Time’?”
“Uh, how about ‘Iron Monkey’” Buffy decided.
Buffy and Xander became engrossed in the film. There was nothing like watching violence to make Buffy feel more relaxed. Buffy actually managed to stop thinking about how Faith was taking over her life for an hour and a half.
“Oh, how I love good violence.” Buffy sighed.
“Well it’s good to know that your job is also your hobby.”
“I wish Willow was here too.”
“Yeah, but I’m sure she’s having fun with Faith. You know how our Wills loves the school thing.” Xander said just before he took a sip from his coke.
Buffy got a strange thought in her head, “Xander, you don’t think?” Buffy looked at Xander who had a quizzical look on his face, “Never mind, it was silly.” Whatever thought Buffy had she pushed it right out of her mind.
“Don’t be silly, Buffster. What is it?” Xander asked.
“What do you think of Faith?” Buffy asked very hesitantly.
“I think she’s great.” Xander realized that wasn’t the right answer and quickly tried to correct himself, “I mean not as great as you, of course.”
“No, she is great I’m just being all jealous.”
“It’s hard isn’t it? Going from being the Chosen One to being part of a Chosen Two. Thinking you’re the best at what you do and then find out someone else is just as good.” Xander realized he put his foot in his mouth because Buffy looked as if she was going to cry. Xander trying to, yet again, correct him self, “That sounded a lot better in my head. Sometimes I just shouldn’t talk.” Xander said and then put a hand on her shoulder, “Just so that you know being the Slayer isn’t what makes you special, Buffy. It’s you.”
“Thanks, Xander. That’s sweet. It’s just I think I’m jealous because Faith is living with Giles and he’s gone to England because of Faith.”
“Come on, Buff, would you really want to live with Giles? And with Giles in England you can go to the Bronze and not go on a patrol because the G-man thinks there’s going to be another apocalypse and then it turns out it’s nothing.”
“You do have a point.” Buffy thought for a moment, “Also, Willow has been spending a lot of time with Faith. I’m not used to sharing my best friend. I know it’s silly of me.”
“Nah, it’s probably being an only child that’s making you feel this way,” Buffy looked at Xander strangely, “I just mean that being an only child didn’t give you a chance to learn how to share and plus when you add the whole slayer business into it and…”
“It’s okay Xander I get what you mean.” Buffy chuckled at Xander. “I’m being way too sensitive. I think Faith is awesome too; I just need to deal. The only thing that makes me wonder about her really is what she thinks about Giles.”
“What does she think about Giles?”
“That he’s…ew…sexy.” Buffy said as she made a disgusted look on her face, “to top it all off Willow agrees with her. I mean can you believe that?” She looked at Xander who looked like he was deep in thought, “Xander?”
“Well I guess I could see how the whole smart thing could,” Xander saw Buffy’s incredulous face, “yeah, your right, Gilexy ixy is very ew.”
