Sunshine

The blue clear water of the Caribbean Sea. The snow covered Rocky Mountains. Vast green western plateau of Australia. The scenic Italian Alps. The jungles of Brazil. The tropical paradise of the Hawaiian Islands.
All foreign to Buffy Summers, born to Hank and Joyce Summers, currently living in Sunnydale. Her age: 17. She no longer cared that she would never see these things.
She had no desire now but to be with the man she loved. The man she loved body had been overtaken by a demon one week ago.
Buffy left her house to kill that demon.
Perhaps when that demon wearing her lover's face was gone, part of Buffy would be gone too. She didn't care.
Gone were the days that she cared about her hair, makeup and impressing boys. Completely gone as of one week ago. Although they had been vanishing for some time. She didn't care.
Now her focus was on the demon that dared to walk as her precious Angel. The demon Angelus.
saw saw Angelus in an ally. It seemed as if he was trying to get caught. It could be a trap. She didn't care.
“Hello lover.” Angelus taunted his ex teenage lover.
“Do you want to talk or fight?” Buffy spat.
No sooner had the words been spoken was Buffy laying on the ground facing him.
Angelus had speed and strength that was unmatched by Buffy. She struggled, of course it was fruitless. Angelus beat her tiny body with his fist. She was covered in black and blue bruises. Punch after punch came down on her.
Slowly she began to fade out. Soon there was totally darkness. The darkness didn't last long. Buffy saw a beautiful light. She headed towards it. It was the sun. As she headed towards it she saw field full of the greenest grass she had ever seen. Among the grass were tiny purple flowers. Buffy bent down to smell the gorgeous flowers, when she stood she saw her Angel. He kissed her. They were brought together by the dark beast Angelus. In the sunlight, they were together. Forever.
