Chapter 15
* What the hell was that t? *t? * Spike voice said in her head.
Buffy turned and met Spike's eyes.
* The hell if I know. Is Dawn ok? *
* She seems ok. Just shaken up. Where are Red and Glinda? *
* I think in the house. We should really ask them what happened * Buffy replied as Spike picked Dawn up in his arms and walked inside.
Willow and Tara had watched from the window and saw Xander stalk off. Both witches turned to each other and exchanged a look as Buffy and Spike walked in.
"What happened?" Buffy asked as Spike put Dawn on the couch.
"We were discussing the impending news of the baby and Xander freaked saying that this was all worse case scenario and that its all wrong. Dawn kinda flipped got got all green glowy and threw Xander out the front door," Willow answered.
"Green glowy?" Spike asked.
"Yeah was way wonky."
"Green glowy, isn't the green light something about her being the key," Buffy questioned.
"Yes. Tara and I have been researching the whole 'key' thing to see what was beyond Glory and her purpose." Willow stated turning to Tara.
"The research isn't done yet and we have only found a couple of things out. Dawn does have power, lots of power but we are still only discovering what kinds of power," Tara said.
All four turned to look at Dawn who was still passed out and lying on the couch.
She looked soo peaceful and innocent. Spike went and pushed a strand of her brown locks off her face. Buffy walked over to them and gently touched Dawn's cheek.
"Dawn, honey wake up," she said softly. Dawn stirred but didn't open her eyes.
"Niblet?" Spike said looking into her face.
"Spike?" Dawn said opening her eyes.
"You ok? You had us all worried over here," he said gently his blue eyes meeting hers.
"I’m ok," she said sitting up.
"I just got really mad at Xander and I lifted him and threw him out. Oh my god how did I do that?" Dawn looked questioningly to Tara and Willow.
"When we know more we will tell you honey. For now lets not worry about it," Tara said.
"So? What’s the verdict?" Willow asked Buffy and Spike.
They both looked at one another and smiled. Spike looked positively radiant and Buffy was all glowy.
"We're having a girl," Spike said as the three women rushed upon them with hugs and congratulations.
