Love On The Hellmouth

Buffy starts to walk home when she is attacked by three Turok-Hans. While shocked to see them she does not run. She braces herself and as the first rushes her she punches it in the throat with the scythe. It dusts immediately. The second comes at her and she turns the scythe so she can stake it. The stake goes straight through the vampire’s heart and turns it to dusts. The third runs to Buffy and she swings the scythe as an axe cutting the thirds head off. She looks around for more. Finding none she continues home.

When Buffy arrives back home she finds everyone sitting around waiting for her. As she closes the door everyone notices their leaders return. Kennedy goes straight to her to look her over for injuries. She stops when she spots the scythe. “Hey. What’s with the axe thing?” “Took it from Caleb.” Willow goes to Buffy, “You don’t look hurt.” “He never laid a hand on me.” Willow and Kennedy nod and move back. Buffy moves into the lounge room and sends the Potentials to bed. She and the Scoobies move to the basement. Buffy still holding the scythe starts the meeting, “I think it’s maybe some kind of scythe? Only thing I know for sure is it made Caleb back off in a hurry.” The group looks over the scythe. Kennedy takes it and has a few swings, “This is great.” Buffy smiles, “Kills strong bodies three ways. I ran into some Ubervamps and dusted them within seconds with this baby. Weird thing is I sensed something when I hold it, wield it.” Willow takes it but feeling nothing asks, “Like what?” “Not much, just…it’s strong. And I knew it belonged to me. I mean, I just knew it.” Willow adds, “So apart from being ancient, it’s also mystical” “Yeah, I figured that when I King Arthur’d it out of that stone. Kenn did you feel it?” “I felt something. Not that it belonged to me as such. But maybe that it would. I’m second Slayer after all.” Willow gave the scythe back to Buffy, “Sounds like maybe some kind of traditional Slayer weapon.” “The First's guys were clearly trying to get it out of that stone. It's not just some tool; it's important. Caleb wanted it. He was surprised that I could get it out. I think only a Slayer could retrieve it but I bet anyone can wield it. Find out whatever you can: Who made it, why. And when. Does it have a name? And, I dunno, a credit report? Find out fast.” “Of course.”

The group went upstairs leaving Buffy and Kennedy alone. “So scythe. You said it could kill Ubervamps.” Buffy nodded. “You sure you’re okay? I mean you look great and all…” Buffy brought her hand up to silence Kennedy. Kennedy looked at Buffy confused. Buffy kissed her. Slow at first but soon Kennedy took over and the kiss grew. Kennedy pulled back a bit, “I want to…is that okay?” Buffy just nodded and kissed Kennedy again. Kennedy pulled Buffy into her arms and drew them to Spikes cot. She laid them down and slowly took Buffy’s shirt off. Kennedy moved her hands around Buffy’s back and removed her bra. She slowly kissed her way down Buffy’s chest. Buffy arched her back at Kennedy’s touches. Kennedy reached Buffy’s breasts and drew them to her mouth. Buffy moaned and started to pull Kennedy’s shirt and bra off in one motion. Kennedy broke contact to help with the removal of her shirt. Buffy pulled Kennedy up to a kiss while she caressed Kennedy’s breasts. Kennedy moaned into the kiss. They moved against each other slowly at first but gradually their movements became more forceful. Kennedy kissed Buffy again as Buffy pulled Kennedy to her harder. As both were fast approaching climax, Kennedy suddenly stopped her movements much to Buffy’s dismay. Kennedy just smiled as she made her way down her girlfriend’s body. As Buffy realized where Kennedy was going, she stopped her complaints. Kennedy brought her mouth to Buffy and slowly moved her tongue inside her. Buffy tensed at the feeling but soon relaxed. As Kennedy climaxed there was a knock on the door. “Guy’s we need you up here.” The two growled but got up.

Willow knowing what the two Slayers were up to smirked when they came out of the basement. From the Slayers glares she quickly got to the point of her interruption, “I found something. Vague reference to a place where you could find answers, a tomb on unconsecrated ground. Know a place like that?” “I think I know what you’re talking about. Okay everyone stay here. Kennedy watch everything here. If I’m not back by sunrise come looking but not till then.” Buffy picks up the scythe and heads out. Willow goes up to Kennedy, “So how are you two?” “We were great till a certain witch interrupted.” “Sorry.” “It’s okay. Buffy needs to know what’s up with that scythe. Though you could of waited another hour or three.” Willow smiled glad that the Slayers were happy together. Noticing that Kennedy had become distracted Willow said, “She’ll be fine. She’s more powerful then you realize. She’ll be back. Hopefully with some answers. Go get some rest.” Kennedy nods in agreement and the two head for bed.
