Catch you on the flipside

Authors Note: Okay so heres the deal, my internets down for I don’t know how long so ill update when I can. But thank you for the reviews and i am determined to finish these stories.

Sasha sighed as she sped past the wreckage of whatever unknown catashtrophe was responsible for the state of New York. Ruins were all that remained of the once great state and because of the overgrowth and debree many of the streets were undrivable and honestly Sasha would just teleport them there but using powers like that would alert dear old Zeus that she wasn’t in the Underworld any longer….
Couldn’t have that…
Looking over at her companion, she growled, the girl was STILL asleep….seriously she had been passed the fuck out for near on five hours and showed no signs of waking anytime soon. Ten minutes past and finally Sasha had had it…
Reaching blindly down by her feet she grabbed a crushed can that they had found at a mini mart and chucked it over into Skyes direction, biting back a smile when the can collided with the younger womans skull with a satisfying thump Sasha kept her eyes trained on the road ahead of them as the wolf jolted awake and looked around in alarm.

“Hey there sleepy….have a good nap?” Sasha asked in a sincerely innocent face.
Skye frowned and rubbed her sore temple and looked around in confusion as to where they were. Taking a deep breath she studied the land around them, trying to find anything familiar….
“Yeah…where are we?” Skye asked, staring hard at the ruins.
“Im not sure…think youll know anything when you see it?” Sasha asked, Skye shrugged.
“Honestly cant tell you…I mean if everything’s like this…maybe there isn’t anyone left?” Skye asked, wondering for the thousandth time if maybe her family…Ryan were gone. And if so…where did they go?
“Id feel a lot better about all of this if it looked like anything other than demons were around” Sasha said quietly, transfixed by the sight of three hanging skeletons suspended from over head street lamps.

Faith carefully laid down the load of bricks she had been carrying once she reached the bottom of the stairwell that led into the underground tunnel systems. Standing with a groan she stretched out her sore muscles and looked around her, Buffy, Horus and Asher were all present along with several slayers who were working to repair the damage done to the tunnel walls from an earthquake earlier that week.

Nodding at a slayer she waited for the girl to join her and they began unloading bricks into wheel barrels. Turning when the door up the stairs opened and she watched as Miranda and Sheridan came through.

“No kids down here Randy, you know that.” Faith said softly when the two reached her. She smiled down at the little demon girl who was more interested in some cracks in the walls than anything else.
“I know Faith, I just came to tell you Team Three is ready for patrol.” Miranda said, taking Sheridans hand as she waited for any further instruction from her superior.
“Alright, whose leading tonight?” Faith asked as she bent to pick up several small bricks.
“Raya and Ken”
“Okay, ill tell B…now get on out of here.” Faith said giving a nod of dismissal to Miranda and a small smile to Sheri. Kid was a cutie, just a little freaky with all that power.

Ryan watched as the patrol group left the grounds, waiving at Brigitte and the twins to come back inside. Stifling a yawn she bent and picked up Adrian who had fallen asleep on the couch and began carrying him back up the stairs to lay him down for his nap.
It was no joke when they used to say if you’re a mom you sleep when they sleep. Turning to make sure Taryn was still behind her she nudge open the door with her hip and laid him down on his bunk and turned to see Tayrn holding her arms out for the same.
Tucking the two into bed was probably the best thing about her day, as she turned to leave she froze when a strange sense of déjà vu occurred…it felt like….no…it couldn’t be.
Skye?

“Oh come on Sasha we have been searching for an hour…theres nothing here.” Skye bit out, in the last hour she had stubbed her toe, tripped and torn a large hole on the jeans she was wearing and she KNEW the school was here but something wasn’t right….even if it was gone there would at least be ruins…but instead it looked like nothing had EVER been here.

“No…theres magic at work here Skye…I can feel it.” Sasha said reaching out into nothing…but something WAS there she was sure of it.
Suddenly there was a crash and the two whipped around and watched as a lankly pair of legs came out over the wall that hadn’t been there a minute ago…she was sure of it.

The two watched in awe as a girl around maybe nine years old dropped to the ground and brushed off her knees. When she stood….Skye lost her breath…
“Brigitte?”
