The animal I have become - 1st Part
Sequel to Of Birds and Slayers, set 9 months after the Great Battle.The Scoobies built a Slayer academy.

(Jarabe de Palo – La flaca)
Shannah opened her eyes and immediately closed them as the daylight was too harsh for her. She felt a body move against her and turned to face her girlfriend. The Slayer yawned before opening her eyes.
“Morning” she muttered.
“Morning beautiful. How did you sleep?” the Phoenix asked, putting a stray of Kennedy’s hair behind her ear. The young girl chuckled.
“You perfectly know how I sleep after sex!”
“Yeah...I can tell ‘cause you’re snoring!” Shannah teased her.
“Looks like someone wanna fight?” Kennedy raised her eyebrows.
“You can’t take me!” They jumped on each other trying to tickle their loved one and ended on the floor lying naked, Shannah on the top of Kennedy. A hand on each side of her girlfriend’s head she leant down to kiss her, but stopped a few centimeters from her lips.
“See? You’re never gonna win this game. I’m not a ticklish girl.” She whispered before kissing Kennedy. They were interrupted by someone who burst in the room.
“Oops sorry Birdy! Didn’t know you were still in bed!” A familiar voice said. Shannah looked up to see her ex-cellmate and best friend.
“What time is it, F?” she asked calmly, completely ignoring the fact that she was naked on the floor, her girlfriend beneath her.
“Ten past eleven. You’re late for our class. That’s why I came to get you.” Faith was bouncing on her feet. She wasn’t really good to hide her excitement. One of her new favorite past times was teaching martial arts to young Slayers. “Anyway, get dressed, you’ve got ten minutes until I come back to kick your sweet little ass out of bed.” She grinned and left. Shannah looked down at her girlfriend.
“Did she really say that?” She laughed before getting up. She jumped into the shower and quickly washed herself.
“Mind if I join you?” The Latino girl asked, in her sexy Kennedyish way.
“Babe, I’m really late!”
“Your fault, show-off girl!” Shannah quickly dressed herself in her regular clothes: black tank top and baggy and white skate shoes. She put her hair in a ponytail and put her cap on the wrong way round. Kennedy emerged from the bathroom, a towel covering her tanned body.
“I’ll go see you in your class later!” The Slayer told her girlfriend before kissing her goodbye.

(Black Eyes Peas – Pump it)
“Now, your turn! Double kick, three punches in the face, you turn and bang! Elbow knock!” Faith was teaching a bunch of Slayers, it was her last class for the day. The Slayers were all watching with attention each movement she was doing. And Shannah was her punching ball, but the young brunette didn’t mind. She had let Faith knock her without flinching all day long.
“Excuse me Miss....uh-” a redheaded Slayer started.
“Faith, just Faith! No Miss! Jeez I’m only five years older than you!” she scolded and the redhead curled herself into a ball. “What do you want?”
Instead of the redhead it was a blond girl who asked.
“Why Shannah doesn’t respond? Aren’t we in Defense class? All you’re doing is beating her up!”
Both friends laughed.
“You have to know how you can be attacked before learning how to defend yourself.” Shannah gave her a bright smile. The bell rang and the students quickly left, except the blond girl.
“Something you wanna ask me?” The Phoenix said. Kelly was one of the first Slayer who had entered the Slayer Academy. She was seventeen and her family was into hotel business.
“Yeah, I was wondering if you could teach me some little things later in the evening?” the young Slayer asked with a sultry voice. Shannah grinned and opened her mouth to speak. At this moment, Kennedy cleared her throat loudly.
“Um, Kelly, go eat your dinner.” Shannah said calmly. Kelly left, but not without giving a sardonic smile to Kennedy.
“Can you tell me what’s going on?” Kennedy tried not to lose her nerves.
“What?” Shannah shrugged.
“Since when do you flirt with those girls?” Kennedy asked in a harsh tone.
“I wasn’t...what the fuck are you saying?” Shannah responded back.
“So you’re gonna screw your students now? It’s not enough to you to have me?”
“Are you insane? What the hell is wrong with you?” The brunette began to shout.
“Do you think I’m blind? I’ve seen the way you acted around them! Remember, you seduced me once, I know how you work!”
“Yeah, sometimes I wish I had never done that!” Shannah replied angrily, trying to walk out of the room. Kennedy pushed her back inside and The Phoenix’s eyes turned black.
“I’m not over yet!”
“You know what? Think what you want, I’m out of here!” Shannah pushed the Slayer away violently and ran out of the school.
