Chapter 11
"You want me to live here? With you?" Buffy asked shocked. After getting up relatively late,about 5 minutes before Faith was due to pick her up she had grabbed a slice of toast from her fathers plate just as Faith knocked on the door. The drive to Wilkins House,a large estate in L.A,was uneventful,both girls lapsing in and out of conversation,but a comfortable silence broke any tension there may have been.
"Well,yeah." Faith answered, "I mean,we're gonna be hitched,so why not?"
"Oh honey,such a romantic" Buffy deadpanned. "You don't have to,I mean,we have to get married,theres no choice in that,for either of us,but you don't have to let me live with you. We don't even have to see each other,if that's what you want."
The brunettes eyes watered slightly at the thouht of not seeing her bride after the ceremony,but she pushed them away quickly. "So you don't want contact,just hang out for a month,tie the know then forget about it?" she asked awkwardly.
"I,I didn't say I wanted that,but I've seen in you in the papers,with all these beautiful women,and I'm just something your Father picked out. You shouldn't have to give up anything because of me." Buffy finished,upset.
"Thats shit B" Faith said angrily. "All the crap in the papers,most of it's true yeah,but they're just women I have a lil fun with. Get some and get gone with them. I know I don't really know ya or nething,but I'd kinda like to get to know ya. Properly"
"Like a proper thing. Even though I don't think I could,you know,do anything with you." Buffy whispered the last part embarassed at her lack of experience.
"We're in it for the long haul anyway,so why not make te best out of it? I'm not good with relationships B,or anything like that,but I'd like to try it out. With you"
Buffy stared at her,before leaning in closely,pressing herself to Faith body and whispering in her ear. "Thank you"
"No probs. Now we're finished with the serious talk,how about we get something to eat,yeah? You like Chinese?" she asked,ushering her into the kitchen and picking up the cordless phone.
"Chinese is good"
"Cool,be here in 10 mins the delivery guy said" Faith said casually. "Hungry?"
Looking at Faiths curves under her skintight leather ensemble Buffy licked her lips slowly,fetching a moan from Faith. "Yes I am"
"Well,yeah." Faith answered, "I mean,we're gonna be hitched,so why not?"
