More Than One Goddess Claims

AN: Two more fandoms added. Warning spoilers of PotC: AWE.

As Destiny stood among the group of fighters trying to figure out what was happening, a ghost ship was coming to the shores of Sunnydale. The captain walked to the side of the ship and smiled as he looked over the rail and saw land. Behind him, men and women worked the lines in preparation of docking.

“Captain, what shall we find here?” Gibbs called as he came to stand by the man he had called friend for centuries.

“We are looking for my returned Elizabeth. Calypso has told me she or should I say, he is here. We are needed for a battle as well.” The Captain of the Flying Dutchman said. Turning to look at his old friend, William Turner, known as Will smiled.

Centuries had passed since William Turner had become Captain of the Flying Dutchman with the change of times came a change to the ship itself and to her crew. Gibbs, Annamaria, as well as other members of the Black Pearl’s crew had come to serve aboard the ship with him. Will’s father had finally passed over nearly a hundred years prior. Gibbs was one of the men that had chosen to stay and serve him. They had become very good friends.

With the change of the times and magick, Will could now go ashore more than once a year. Over time Will had searched for his Elizabeth brought back to him, but not once had they been truly reunited.

In that time he and Jack, or the Immortal as he was now called, became closer friends and for a while lovers. Many times Jack had traveled with him and the crazed pirate still watched over the descendants of his and Elizabeth’s young son.

His boy had died on the sea; Will had taken the elderly child onto the hereafter and many of his descendants since then. Will had sadly not been there when Elizabeth was killed by a common thief. His beautiful wife was murdered in her bed, before Will could return to her.

Calypso had come to him promising that one day he would be reunited with the soul of his Elizabeth, but each time he reached her something happened to stop him. Now Calypso had changed this once again, this time in his favor. A dark power had tried to thwart his chance at his beloved, from what the sea goddess told him, his mate suffered a horrid injustice and was bonded to a vampire as well.

Calypso’s Dark Avenger, Jack Aubrey, with her intervention, had stolen the boy from the demon that had taken him. Jack made sure that the boy was where the half-demon Cole Turner would find him, they also took the boy’s memories. Yet the Dark Goddess had also made it so that the scars and the “sense” memory of what had happened to him would not be there. There would never be a physical reminder of what his mate had gone through.

Calypso was not the only god to involve herself in the affairs of his mate, Poseidon and the Queen of the Merpeople, claimed the boy as theirs, because of this the other powers, excluding the Elders and the Powers that Be, hid why they had the boy taken from the demon and why they had broken the bond to the vampire.

“What are ya waiting fro young Will, come ashore, there’s a fight awaiting for us.” A voice called from the shore. Will and Gibbs both laughed as they caught sight of Jack. They should have known he would be here, after all he had loved and searched for Elizabeth for centuries as well, Jack had in fact tortured her killer to death.

Harry Potter looked to the desiccated corpse of Voldemort and felt a dark joy in finally killing his opponent, yet that feeling quickly dimmed as he looked around him and saw the number of wounded, dying, and dead. Harry turned away from the corpse and went to those left alive.

He felt relief at the sight of his two best friends and spouses alive and aiding as he was. Soon they would be together, but at the moment they had to do what they could to help others.

Minutes stretched into hours until finally all had been seen too, Harry sat down on the ground in the middle of the war zone and pulled his lovers with him. The other members of his family joined him, each joined hands grateful to be alive and mourning those that were lost.

Among those that were seated was all of the Weasley clan, minus Percy, who had taken a severing curse three months earlier to save Ginny. When Fudge realized that Percy was spying on him and that he had in fact gathered enough evidence to prove that Fudge was a spy for the Deatheaters the man had gone mad, rushing Arthur’s department, where Percy was meeting for lunch with both his father and his sister. Percy had thankfully died quickly.

Hagrid had died doing what he loved, protecting Hogwarts and the children within its walls. Dumbledore had fallen to an insane and power hungry Lucius Malfoy, who was somewhere out there waiting to be dealt with. Of course, even the Deatheaters were after Lucius.

Trelawney had one last true vision and for once she had actually remembered that she had done so. In an act of bravery and friendship, she had sacrificed herself to save Professor, now Headmistress McGonagall.

Remus and Tonks survived, Kingsley and Mad-Eye Moody were alive but badly injured. Neville was with them in the field, with his beloved wife Luna at his side. Draco, Severus, and Narcissa Snape all survived the war.

Only a few of Harry’s classmates had died on either side of the battle, but sadly Pansy Finnegan was one of those that died, Seamus was injured, but expected to live. Harry knew that the other boy would live for their daughter Imogene.

Harry himself felt the most blessed, for his lovers and friends Hermione Potter and Ron Potter had survived the death and destruction of the day. The trio planned to leave the wizarding world as soon as they could, they only hoped that they could find and live a safer life than the one they had survived up until this point.

“Harry Potter,” a soft voice called from nearby.

The group turned as one to look at the being standing there. Gasps of shock sounded upon the glade as they saw the glowing being before them, another glowing being appeared beside her. She seemed a darker creature, but for reasons he could not explain, Harry knew that these women meant he and his family no harm. Harry stood and the others followed him.

“Who are you?” he asked respectfully.

The two women smiled at him, pleased by his respect and his curiosity. “I am Briget; this is my friend and fellow Goddess Hectate. We have come to ask your help in a matter my Champion.” The Celtic Goddess said serenely.

Severus and those raised in the traditions of the Wizarding World fell to their knees in awe of the pair. Hermione and Harry shared a look but followed their family to their knees.

“How may we be of aide to you?” Ron asked respectfully.

“We need you and your soul mates to go to America, a place where I myself will take you. A great evil is at work and an old enemy of yours is in the center of it all. I need you to help my chosen fight him and all that would stand in his path. I know you are turned, but I swear to you in this case you will be one of the end fighters, you know the one they are fighting, for this reason you are needed and this reason only. Will you Potters, come with me and fight this evil?” Hectate asked gently, in this case the maid was in control of the questions.

“Only the Potters?” Draco asked quietly.

“Yes, the rest of you are needed here to help your world recover from the horrors of this war and the horrors they could inflict, such as what they did with Sirius Black.” Briget said gently.

The three shared a look between them, and then nodded. “We agree.”

“Say your good-byes we must go now.” Hectate answered immediately.

The Trio quickly did as the goddess ordered and while painful they knew they would see one another again. Remus, Molly, and Arthur embraced their children, made them promise to behave and then watched them disappear.

Xander was confused as to exactly what was going on. His best friend was back, hurray magickal destiny, there were three slayers, again hurray magickal destiny, and he was missing six months of his life. From the looks everyone was exchanging and the looks Spike was giving him there was probably something bad about that, but at the moment he couldn’t concentrate on exactly what that was.

Frowning he looked at the stairwell leading to the floor they were on at the hospital and then to the left as four people appeared. *Huh? More warriors, I wonder what’s up?* he thought looking at Buffy and Willow who shrugged.

“Hell if I know,” the pair said in unison.

“Oh Dear,” Giles groaned, it was never good when his children began to mind read.

“Our Elizabeth became quite the strapping lad Young Will,” Jack said with a grin for Xander who blinked in response and then looked at the man beside the man with long dark hair. The man smiled at him in response.

“Calypso’s chosen, I am Hectate, Goddess of Magick, your mate Alexander Harris is my chosen, treat him well or Calypso will need a new Captain for the Flying Dutchman.” Hectate said before disappearing.

“Let me guess, you’re not human?” Willow asked the man that Hectate, and wow her goddess was hot, spoke to.

“Not since the Golden Age of Piracy,” Will answered, never taking his eyes off Xander.

“Figures,” the teenage part of the Scoobies said as one, while the adults all sighed, only Xander.
