A/N: I wanted to apologize for my lack of posting. I have had a run of bad luck and with everything going on I needed to step away for a moment. But I am back now and with the family and personal issues behind I have come back full force to finish this story. I hope you enjoy this chapter and as an added bonus I will add another tonight in gratitude of your patients with me.

Willow jumped up and pulled her jeans back on before leaving the room. She walked down the hall and out to the main room. She sat quietly on the couch next to the fireplace. Her eyes watched as the flames danced and intertwined as if in a passionate dance that only she was privileged enough to see.

“So you could not sleep either?”

Madeline’s voice startled Willow. She looked at her, panic creased in her features. “I didn’t mean to wake you Madeline!”

Madeline chuckled again, “I do not sleep. Even if I needed to the visions would keep me awake.”

“Oh,” Willow seemed to sigh in relief. Her eyes went back to the fire, “Madeline may I ask you something?”

“Of course child.”

“What am I becoming?”

“You are becoming you. You have started down your path and the choices that you make within the next few days will determine the rest of you life.”

“WHAT!”

“Your future has yet to be written. You currently have three, death, darkness, and light. The choices that you will be forced to make within the next few days will determine the course of the rest of your life. You have the potential to become something amazing Willow. Don’t be afraid of what you have the right to become.”

“The power in me is so dark, it’s all consuming.”

“Yes child. You have made some poor decisions up until this point. I can only tell you to follow your heart and trust those around you to help you.”

“And Spike?”

“William is both the thing that ignites you and the thing that will ground you. Tara opened your soul to your powers and William is the one who will help you grow. Tara is a wonderful girl but she will never be able to understand the depth of your power because she is so afraid of becoming what she has the potential to be. Willow vengeance is not yours to seek. Always remember that. Things will happen that will cause you pain, bring forth your darker aspects but do not let them rule you.”

“Thank you Madeline.”

“Now child go to bed.”

“Madeline?”

“It is not my story to tell you must wait for him to open up to you. Just know child you may not like what you hear.”

Willow bowed her head before she stood to leave. She stopped in the bathroom and was surprised to see working plumbing. She washed her hands and entered the guest room. She was shocked to see Spike resting against the headboard, set of reading glasses in place, and the book of many arguments in hand.

“Found me specs. Can actually see the words right and proper now.” Spike smirked, “have a good chat did you?”

Willow nodded and pulled off her jeans. She folded them and sat them on top of one of the bookshelves. “You ignite me and ground me. Luck you.” She smile and crawled on to the bed. Spike went to remove his glasses but Willow reached out and stopped him. He gave her a confused look and she smiled. “I like them. I wish you could see…” She dropped her eyes in thought then jumped up.

Willow dug through her bag and pulled out a hand held mirror. She walked over to the bed and sat next to Spike with the mirror. She handed it to him and he cocked his eyebrow.

“Vampire, remember luv?”

“Do you trust me?” Spike looked at her for a moment before he took the mirror and nodded his head. She seemed to relax as a smile washed across her features. “I don’t know if this will work but it’s worth a try right? Hold the mirror in your palm the glass against your skin.”

Willow placed her hands on the back of the mirror and over Spike’s. She closed her eyes and Spike watched in fascination. Her transformation was beautiful. The black of her hair bleed into the red from the roots. Her lips darkened and the veins inched across her pale skin. Spike could feel the heat of her power raise up his arm and warm his whole body. Her black hair seemed to spray out around her but something was different. He looked closer at her raven locks and saw glowing white stands invade the darkness.

Just a he felt the power travel up his arm and fill his body he felt it leave. Willow’s hair stopped dancing in an unfelt wind and the black locks faded back to her normal red. She opened her eyes and gave him a small smile. She lifted the mirror by the handle and held it up for Spike to see.

His eyes refused to look at the mirror but instead at Willow. He seemed to search her for some sign of the power he had just seen. He reached a hand out and let his fingers dance through her hair. He turned a few pieces over then took the mirror from her.

He lowered his gaze to the mirror and sat silently for a moment. His fingers came up to his sharp cheekbones and unshed tears filled his eyes. His fingers brushed against his lips and nose. He tilted his face and his fingers traced the scars in his eyebrow before tugging at a lock of platinum hair. His eyes darted from the mirror to Willow and back to the mirror.

“It’s yours to keep. That’s the only mirror it works in. I don’t know how to give you your reflection back always but I figured one mirror was better than no mirrors right?”

Spike sat the mirror gently down on the bedside table and turned back to Willow. His blue eyes shimmered behind his silver framed glasses. He leaned forward and captured her lips with his. His fingers buried themselves in her red hair. He tired to put everything he was feeling behind the kiss. He needed her to know how much what she had done had meant to him and he hadn’t trusted his voice to tell her.

Willow sat up on her knees to get closer to him, her hands trailed up his body and clasped behind his neck. She felt him press his weight onto her and she gladly lay back on the plush bed. His left hand trailed down her body, touching every available piece of skin it could find. It caressed the sensitive flesh of her right thigh making Willow moan into his waiting mouth. He took that opportunity to slip his tongue into her mouth as he settled his body between her legs.

He pulled away from her lips to give her a chance to breath but did not stop his assault on her flesh. His lips left a trail of feather light kisses along her jaw and down on her neck. He licked her sensitive flesh, using the flat of his tongue against her pulse point. He alternated between licks and kisses causing her breath to become ragged. While his lips had her mind busy his left hand slipped under the hem of her shirt. His fingers danced along the soft flesh of her stomach and back down to her thigh.

“Please stay with me Red.” He requested as he looked down into her green eyes. She pulled his lips back to hers in silent response.

Her fingers threaded deeper into his curly hair as she felt his hand slip under the fabric of her smiley face panties. She tilted her head back, exposing her neck to him, as his fingers caressed the soft flesh over her hips. His breath caught in his throat when he watched her bare her neck to him.

His demon roared, she was his. Spike shook his head trying to shut it up. If she was not allowed to change neither was he. He would not do that to her but her show of submission was too much. He pulled back and covered his face with his hands, hiding his true form from her. He could feel her soft, warm hands on his shoulders and her body against his back.

“It’s ok. I know what you are, I’m not a disillusioned teenager. I knew what you were before any of this started. You don’t have to hide from me.”

He whipped around, snarling, as he pinned her to the bed. He snapped his fangs in her face but she did not flinch. A loud roar erupted from his throat as his amber eyes burned into her green eyes.

“This wot you want to see?” He seethed. “You want to hold a monster? You wanna tell me that this gets you off?” His growl resonated into her chest as she let him talk. “I’m not a man and I can never be one for you. I can never be all good and I will tarnish you.”

“You haven’t yet. And yeah ok sometimes you make the wrong decisions but whatever so do the rest of us. You are more human than most humans I know. You are more pure than I am. For someone with a soul I do a lot of really unsouly things. Or at least I think them.” Willow shrugged but continued to look at him.

Spike searched her eyes then let her up, his face shifting back into his human visage. He turned and looked at her for a moment longer before he stood up. He pulled his cloths back on and left the room.

Willow sighed and grabbed her pants. She pulled them on and followed Spike to the main room. She was sick of being left unsatisfied and if he thought he could just walk away he had another thing coming. She sat down next to him on the couch near Madeline. She could get some sleep when they got back to Sunnydale.
