Wolf pt. 4 (final chapter??)

well this is the final part. the muse practically died on me. there may be an epilogue to this. cause there was never any real pairing with Xan and Riddick. Most of the action was with Xan/Wolf and Rafe. XD

Wolf pt.4

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It had been two years. Two long and, at the same time, short years spent on the Arctic Circle’s slam. Long, because of the brutal training he had been put through to unlock his animal side. Short, because he had finally accepted that he was a part of Wolf’s small pack.
Riddick may have not been as close to Wolf as Rafe was. Sure, the teen found Wolf both fascinating and infuriating. Every chance Wolf had, the man pushed the teen to the edge and back. Riddick’s training showed when he had to face off against the other prisoners. Even with how good he had gotten Wolf was better, fiercer, and faster. All his training by Wolf did pay off. Riddick found his senses sharpening. His body had grown stronger and agile. But his sense of smell gave him the most trouble.
It was hard to adjust to the stronger scents. He found himself avoiding Isis. The scent of all those men was saturated in her flesh, just as Wolf said. He didn’t like the scent. He could barely stand it long enough to get off when she sucked him off. It all stopped when she lost interest in him. A new prey caught her attention.
Sexually frustrated, he began to notice the various ways Rafe interacted with Wolf. When the salt-n-pepper haired male wanted sex, he was more playful with the other man. Rafe also displayed himself for the larger man. He advertised his interest for Wolf.
Wolf answered either with a growl or by pinning the horny Rafe to the nearest surface. Those two were not shy about nudity or sex. Riddick had his suspensions that they were exhibitionists. He wasn’t going to guess how many times he had witnessed them fucking. They usually ended up blocking the entrance, so there was no escape.
Wolf and Rafe’s sexual activities wasn’t the only thing he noticed. The teen had notice how restless the larger male had become during the later season on the slam. Wolf had become impatient and vicious towards the outsiders of the pack. He was barely tolerated Isis’ presence in the den. The older man was like his namesake, as he tended to pace the den when they weren’t training.
During those times, Riddick was glad for Rafe distracting the alpha. Never had he been so happy to see those two exhibitionists fuck in front of him. Never had he been so frustrated either…
A restless, agitated Wolf was a Wolf Riddick didn’t know how to handle. But it wasn’t the most nerve racking of moments he had ever faced. When Wolf’s eyes turned ice blue, it made him freeze. It was one of the signals that the beast was in charge. Another signal was how the beast carried himself, and how he reacted to his pack mates.
“Damnit, Argo!” hissed Rafe as he glared at the pacing form of his lover, knowing the beast was in charge, “Why is Wolf so fuckin’ antsy? Cause I’m gettin’ tired of his growling and his fuckin’ pacin’!”
The ice blue eyed male stopped his pacing and turned to face his other half’s lover. Seeing the glare on the salt-n-pepper haired male, he quietly snarled until the man looked away. Satisfied that his dominance was no longer being challenged, he relaxed his stance and smiled at the other male.
“We grow tired of this territory.” The beast huffed clearly becoming agitated again. “This territory doesn’t allow for positive growth for the pack. It is time for the Pack to seek out new territory. Plus, we wish to feel the sun once again. Too long have we stayed in this artificially lit hole.”
Nodding, Rafe looked, really looked, at the form of his lover. Xander’s body looked a little worn at the edges. Scruff on that handsome face was as kept as it usually was. Even with Argo’s blue eyes staring out of that familiar face, Rafe could see how dull they looked. The fierce light that had shone brightly for years was slowly dying.
“Why have ya stayed so long on this ice rock?” the hazel eyed man quietly asked.
Argo sighed and dragged his hands through the shoulder-length, wavy sable hair. “Because this rock had been a comfort of being something that we knew in this new time. Like a wolf pup out of its comfort zone, we went to the den to hide. Trust me when I say we explored the new worlds, but there was something missing. We couldn’t handle the new and different advancement of this age. We were fossils in the dawning of the new era!”
“What about now? Won’t it feel that way again?”
Head tilting to the side, Argo seemed to ponder on the question. “No. It won’t feel so overwhelming for this old wolf. We have a pack now. That has helped eased the way. Even if the Pack drifts apart, we’ll still have Pack.”
A slow grin crossed Rafe’s face until he was practically beaming up at the beast. The Wolf’s words had warmed his heart. “So, what are You and Wolf plannin’ in that thick head of yer’s”
“Escape…” was the only word Argo need to say as his left eye turned chocolate brown.
Riddick had laid there, his back to the two men. He had pretended to be asleep. But he had this gut feeling that they knew he was actually awake the whole time. At first, he had been confused who Argo was. Then the answer hit him like a sledge hammer to the face. Agro was Xander’s animal side, his beast self. And the one word the beast spoke, “Escape” had his heart pounding in his ears. Argo had spoken that word as if he and Wolf already had a plan.
“Escape.” purred Rafe as he stood up to stalk towards his lover. Argo had retreated allowing Wolf control over their body.
“Escape.” Wolf rumbled, his eyes darkening with lust as his lover stalked closer.
Groaning, Riddick rolled over onto his stomach to bury his head into the pallet with his hands pressed firmly over his ears. He knew the tone of voice that the older men used. The duo were just a pair of horn dogs, ready to fuck at the drop of a hat.
When the pack did escape, it wasn’t a typical escape. There was minimal sneaking and minimal lost of life on the guard part. It was more like the Warden letting them have a spare skiff. The Warden wanted Wolf gone. There were never any records of an Alexander Harris. It was giving the man headaches. Especially when the man without any records or I.D. killed the prison guards and, of course, the prisoners.
The Warden practically paid Wolf to go away. There was going to be less causalities with the Wolf and his small pack off his slam. The Warden drunk himself stupid in celebration the night he let them go.
