Visionary Kiss II 7
Visionary Kiss II Part 7
INT. EVELYN & WILLOW´S CABIN - NIGHT
Evelyn, wearing a white nightgown, was standing in front of the mirror. Both women had agreed to share a cabin, not that it had been too expensive for each of them to have their own, it was just safer. Willow was already sitting in her bed listening to Envy's rambling about Rick.
It would have been amusing if she would not have the feeling that something was about to happen. The hairs on her back were standing up, somebody was in the cabin. She was already angry, not at whoever had dared to enter her room. No, she was angry that she had been not aware of it before now.
She turned away from the small porthole she had been looking out and there he was, Captain Hook. Half hidden behind the screen netting that was used for bug protection. He had not seen her yet he was probably thinking that Evey, crazy soliloquies Evey, would be easy to take.
He slammes has hand over the mouth of the dark-haired woman, lifting his hook, ready to strike. Willow was aware that if she used her magic to take him out, everything would be lost. So she just got up letting him know that she was there too.
"Where's the map?" he asked after he had gotten over the shock that he was not alone with his victim. Evelyn was terrified to say at least as she looked pleadingly into Willow's eyes. If she was afraid of losing her life or the map, the redhead had no idea.
And then he saw the map lying next to a flickering candle on a nearby table, "And the key? Where is the key?"
Willow looked confused at him, or better tried to look this way. She needed to get near him without bringing Evelyn in danger. He only grinned at her.
"Then I'll find it myself."
He cocked his hook, ready to kill her and that was when the door was kicked open. O'Connell burst in, one of his guns in each hand. A total new version of the white Knight. Captain hook spun Evelyn around and held her out in front of him, using her as a shield.
"Friend of yours?"
Evelyn's eyes widened and that was when the candle on the table flickered. Everything happened at once. O'Connell spun around just as the window burst open. A mumia leaned in, firing his gun. Wood chips blasted off the wall next to Rick's head.
He fired back, killing the mumia, who fell back, firing blindly. Hitting a lantern in the room. The kerosene splashed across the wall and burst into flames.
Willow shoved Evelyn and hook into the table, winding her hand into the man's hair, jerking ready to use magic, but then Evelyn grabbed the candle and jammed it back over her shoulder, right into hook's eye. He screeched in pain, but still his hold was too strong for her to get free. This was when Willow's eyes turned black and she laid one of her hands on his back.
He let go and O'Connell grabbed her and yanked her out of the flaming room followed by Willow. The stopped down the hall, Evey tried to jerk free, "The map! We need the map!"
Rick shoved her up against the wall, tapping his forehead, "Relax! I'm the map! It's all up here. "
"Oh that's comforting." O'Connell gave her a look, then pulled her forward. Looking at Willow he was sure he had been hit over the head. For a second he could have sworn that she had black eyes. Shaking his head, he looked again over his shoulder but there was only the deep green he already knew.
"C'mon, there's still one more of those guys around here somewhere."
"Willow why do you know that there is one more?"
But Willow was not listening. She knew that she could not just walk back and get the key, she had been so sure that Evelyn had it still in her hand. But it wasn't the key that she was still holding it was the candlestick. So she sent the only person that would be crazy enough to try everything to get it. And if not she could always use her mojo to get it back.
FLAMING ROOM - NIGHT
Hot melted wax covered Hook's face as he held his sore eye and struggled to the door. It hurt but what hurt more was the stinging pain in his back. He should have listened to the Curator as the man had spoke about the other woman. As she had laid her hand on his back, it had been like losing control over the lower half his body. His feet were no longer been able to work, so he had hit the floor, hard.
Before she had walked out of the room, she had whispered into his ear, in his mother tongue. She had told him that he would die tonight. Then she had given him a blessing, the same his mother had always given. His thoughts came back into reality as he noticed the key/box on the floor. Reaching out to pick it up, he was hit be the door, it hit him in the ass and knocked him into the fire.
Then Jonathan leaned in, seeing nothing but flames.
"EVY!! WILLOW!!"
Then he saw the key/box on the floor and picked it up, a hand suddenly snatched it away from him, nearly giving him a heart attack. But he had no time to think, in his mind there was only the need to get the box. He needed to get the box.
"Hey that's mine.."
But the Mumia would not listen to him. His backside was on fire, as he lifted his pistol. Jonathan quickly backpedaled out the door as hook opened fire.
EXT. CAMEL PADDOCK - NIGHT
O'Connell, Evelyn and Willow raced out onto the deck near the horse paddock. People were screaming and shouting, the panic was everywhere. Everybody was trying to get off the ship, with as much of their goods as possible.
A loud noise and a chunk of the wall was blown off next to Evelyn's head. O'Connell pivoted and fired back. It was the last Mumia, on the other side of the paddock. He and Rick exchanged gunfire.
Again a lantern was hit and burst into flames, spreading its fire over everything nearby. Rick shot the paddock lock, breaking it. The horses screamed in fear smelling the fire. He fired over there heads and they charged forward and crashing though the door. The Mumia screamed as the horses stampeded over him.
Evelyn placed her hands over her ears, not wanting to hear his screams that seemed to go on forever. Willow whispered a few words and he was silent. It would have been too cruel to let him lay there with his broken back until he would be either burned to death or drowning when the ship would sink.
Flames swept up the walls and raced across the roof. Half of the barge was already on fire. The night no longer dark and silent. Lit up by the fire and loud by the yells, it was a nightmare.
O'Connell threw his gunnysack over his shoulder. Willow wondered if he would be able to swim with it. She knew that this was the thing they would have to do and after his next words, and she knew that now was the time to do it.
"Can you swim?"
Willow only smiled at him, reaching down she tore at her nightgown, after she had finished it was only knee length. Happy with it she walked over and did the same to Envy's. Receiving a shocked look from the woman.
"Well of course I can swim, if the occasion calls for it."
"Trust me," he picked her up and threw her over the side. "The occasion calls for it."
He held out his hand, he had to smirk as Willow laid hers in it.
"Let's show the British lady how Americans swim."
"As you wish, lady."
Just as they started to jump into the river they heard somebody call out to them. Turning they saw that it was the Warden.
"What should we do? What should we do?" panic was clear in his voice as he ran over to them.
But before Rick could say something Willow did, he she shoved O'Connell into the Nile.
"Best thing would be if you stay here while we go for help."
EXT. BARGE BOW NIGHT
Jonathan ran out onto the bow, catching his breath he looked at the three Americans, guns in every hand, fanning their pistols, shooting everything in sight. This made him shake his head.
"Americans."
Suddenly he heard steps behind him and there was the smell of burning flesh, both made him turn around to look onto the mumia with the hook, now more looking like a flaming torch than a human being. He grabbed Jonathan by the throat with his slamming arm and pinned him to the cabin wall.
Jonathan's eyes widened as he saw the hook rising up inside the flames about to strike him.
The Americans pivoted and opened the fire. Blowing him over the railing. Jonathan turned towards the Americans and smiled.
"I say! Good show!"
Then he pointed with his thumb at himself, "And did I panic? I think not."
He lifted up his other hand, he looked down, smiling at the little box. Out of the nowhere horses stampeded onto the bow. Jonathan dived over one side, the three Americans over the other.
NILE RIVERBANK - NIGHT
O'Connell, Evelyn, Jonathan and the Warden wade out of the water. Willow was already wringing her hair out. As she looked at the others, she noticed Rick's open mouth. Evelyn's nightgown clung tightly to her body as she wrung it out. She looks sexy and from the way Rick looked at her, she was sure that he had noticed it.
Everybody that had made it in time from board, including the horses, was getting out on the far shore. And O'Connell spotted Beni running up to the Americans.
"Hey O'Connell! Looks to me like I got all the horses!"
"Hey Beni! Looks to me like you're on the wrong side of the river!"
This made Beni look up at the stars, then he angrily kicked the sand cursing. But the little group was not longer looking at him. They watched the flaming barge drift off, slowly sinking into the depths of the Nile.
BEDOUIN TRADING POST - DAY
O'Connell bartered in Arabic with a camel trader at a trading post. They had walked half of the day to get here and now they had to once again purchase what they needed for the rest of their Journey. Rick could only wonder how Willow had been able to think about hiding all the money under her nightgown, with all the things that had happened last night
Jonathan finally forked over some cash. The Trader handed them the reins of four ugly old camels.
"I can't believe the price of these fleabags."
"We coulda had 'em for free, all we had to do was give 'em one of the woman."
"Yes, awfully tempting, wasn't it?"
"Awfully." O'Connell snickered and then his mouth dropped open for the second time in the less than twenty four hours, as he watched the "women" step out of the trading tent. They had changed into gorgeous, tightly fitted, Bedouin dresses. But Rick had only eyes for Evelyn.
"Then again...."
