Chapter 10
After Faith had eventually left,some 10 minutes ago,Buffy was sitting in her room,on the phone to Willow.
"I'm telling you,we were on the porch 20 minutes ago,just kissing" she said happily into the phone,smiling at the memory fresh in her mind.
[I thought you said you'd never date again after Angel] Willow replied softly. [2 months ago you were pining over him,and now,you're so happy]
At the mention of Angel Buffys good mood evaporated. "I loved him Will,if he hadn't..If he was still alive,then I don't know what would have happened"
On the other end of the phone,Willow sat in her and Taras apartement strokingher thumb over a worn photo. It was Buffy,Xander and Willow,with 3 other people,Cordelia,Jesse and Angel. They had taken the photo on a day out,the last time they had all been together. Cordelia moved away to Los Angeles a few day later,which was the reason in the first place for their outing. Then Angel and Jesse were involved in a traffic accident. They had both been drinking,and were to drunk to steer properly.
"You've got the photo" Buffy said,more as a statement than a question.
[Yeah] Willow sniffled a little,then started to speak again. [Are you sure Faiths not,a rebound girl or anything? Someone to numb losing Angel]
"Will,for the first time in ages,I felt totally being with someone. Even with Angel,I was on guard a bit. But being with her,it feels natural."
[You like her,dont you?] Willow asked,tucking the photo under her pillow. [I mean,really like her]
"I do" was the blondes reply
[And its not going to be the last time you say that is it?] Willow said,smiling as Tara walked in.[You're going to be Mrs. Faith Wilkins in a month.]
Tara moved over to the bed,slipping her hand into Willows an pulling her back. She started kissing up an down her lovers throat,causing the red head to moan loudly into the mouthpiece.
"Willow,what're you doing?" Buffy smirked "Is it time for me to hang up?"
No reply
"Willow? Hello?"
Shaking her head Buffy put down her phone.
*Everyones in love. Apart from me* she thought sadly,and curled up on her bed,hugging a pillow as one solitary tear dropped down her cheek.
