Notes
Author's Notes on Bitch
1) The ending was planned from the beginning. The last line - or rather, Spike's last line - while melodramatic, was the first thing that lodged itself in my brain. The whole story came from that scene/image. I thought it was important for Spike to save himself. Especially after all that he'd been through, I thought he would never have any hope of recovery unless he took a stand. With Angelus dead (at least in Spike's mind) and facing certain servitude, suicide was Spike's only means of keeping his identity.
2) This was originally intended to be much, much more sick. There were many atrocities I wished to commit on my Spike, but I decided I wasn't quite adept enough to manage all the gratitous violence and keep the pace interesting. Maybe I will use all my really sick ideas at a later date.
3) Yes, there is a sequel planned. I have a 'general' idea of where I want to go with it, but other than that - no clue. It won't be started for a while, but I will get to it sooner or later. Don't worry, I won't leave Spike dead for too long! (Just call me Joss [I wish]).
4) Once again, thanks for reading. I'm sorry about all the torture (of you guys, not Spike!), but I hope to make it all better...someday.
