Chapter 10 for TFL



We meet Buffy and Willow at the mall for some girl time and to talk about other things about an hour later. Danielle: Hey where is Cordelia? Willow: She and Oz had to head back LA something to do with the band. They should be back later tonight. Ashley: It doesn’t bother you that she’s dating your ex? I stopped and looked at them. Danielle: Hey guys are we shopping or talking about the first guys we had sex with? They looked at me. Danielle: Sorry but Ashley and I were talking after she heard Angelus and I this morning. Buffy: Great like I so needed to know that you slept with Angelus. I stuck my tongue out at her. Danielle: What do you have to complain about you have Giles. She opened her mouth for a comeback and stopped. Buffy: Yeah you’re right. I shook my head and followed her to the next store.

Ashley: So ignoring those two. Does it bother you? Willow: Not really besides I think after we broke up I understood why it wouldn’t work. That and all I really wanted was Xander. Buffy stopped and looked at us again. Buffy: Hey are we shopping or talking about past boyfriends. I rolled my eyes and lifted an arm full of bags. Danielle: We’re shopping and if you bring up fish boy I might have to hurt you. Willow: Fish boy…you mean Pike. Buffy: Look a shop. She took a hold of Willow and pulled her along. Ashley: She dated someone named Pike. I nodded as we followed them. Danielle: And we thought Spike was a strange name.

After our brief talk we went about our day with shopping and even taking the time to stop in Victoria’s Secret. Buffy: I want to get something that would surprise Rupert. Danielle: Just make sure you don’t give him a heart attack. I really like this one. She frowned at me as I showed her a corset set. She turned and walked away to look at some white teddies. Danielle: I love it when I do that. Come Ashley you have to help me pick something out that would leave Angelus drooling? Ashley: Why don’t you parade around naked? I raised an eyebrow at her. Danielle: Did you not see the amount of people that barraged into my room today. Ashley: Good point.

I smiled and started to look through some black teddies. Ashley: What about this one? I looked up and smiled at a simple short black satin teddy. Danielle: I like it and hopeful he would to. Want me to help you find something that Spike would like…maybe a leash? She handed me the teddy with a sigh. Ashley: No now go look at bras or something. I rolled my eyes at her. Danielle: Fine just trying to help.

I walked over to a collection of lace bras and boy shorts when I noticed a dark red set. Finding my size I was about to look through the rest when I heard Ashley walk up to me. Danielle: What size are you again? Ashley: Same as you silly. I nodded and went on with my search. Ashley: What are you doing? Danielle: Finding new underwear for the both of us. I handed her a few things and kept some for myself. Ashley: Danielle, what am I supposed to do with all this underwear when I’m sure that I’m the only one going to see it? I smiled and looked at her with a twinkle in my eye. Danielle: Well when you’re ready you have something to show off to Spike. Now help me find some for me because if Spike reacts the same Angelus did when he saw my underwear we are going to need a lot. We started to look through the bras and grabbed anything that would match the multiple colors of boy shorts we had. Once we were ready we paid for our things and waited for Buffy to finish up…she bought the same teddy I did only in white…yep my cousin is very original.

We walked out of the Victoria’s Secret carrying two or three bags each before moving on to the next story. We left a few hours later with as many bags as we could hold. Not stopping to drop anything off at home we drove to the Magic Box where the others were waiting for us. We walked in talking to each other and before I could move to the table someone wrapped their arms around me and kissed me.

We parted and as I looked up I saw Angelus smiling down at me. Danielle: Hey, what was that for? Angelus: Never leave me with Yelsin and Spike. I giggled and looked to my right to see Spike kissing Ashley passionately. Danielle: I see your point. Hey break it up you two some of us want to keep our food down. Spike and Ashley parted. Ashley: Sorry. I shook my head as Angelus led me to the table. Danielle: So what did we miss…I looked up and noticed everyone was looking at us. Danielle: Close your mouths and let’s get down to business. Buffy: Fine just don’t do that.

I smiled and kissed Angelus on the cheek. Danielle: Do what make out with Angelus. Buffy raised an eyebrow at me as the others laughed. Angelus: I promise to behave if you let me kiss your cousin sensly Slayer. He moved to kiss me again when Buffy covered her eyes. Buffy: Giles make them stop. Giles: Children please sit down so we can get back to our research. Spike: Rups your sure now how to kill the fun in the room. He raised an eyebrow as the guys sat down.

Willow: What’s going on? Giles: We have been researching the prophecy Danielle talked about a few nights ago. Willow sat down along side Buffy. Ashley: So what have you found out? Giles walked back to the table to find that Willow and Xander setting next to each other as Buffy sat to Willow’s left watching Angelus as he ran his hand up and down my arms as I smiled at him. Spike and Ashley sat on the other side of the table whispering to each other as Yelsin and Drusilla read through some of the books. Angelus stop running his hands over my arms to wrap them around my waist pulling me closer to him as we just stood there with my head against his chest. Yelsin: Nothing much. They just say what we already know except some of them talk about three more couples and something about fighting to save the world of the Slayer.

Giles: Did you four have a fun on your shopping trip? He walked over to Buffy and handed her a bottle of water pulling her attention away from Angelus and I for the time being. Willow: Yeah. Danielle: Ashley and I did. Ashley: What about you guys? Spike: Well if you really what to know we took the little guy here shopping for some new clothes and came here. Angelus: Giles convinced us to help him saying it would past the time until you showed up. He kissed my neck. Danielle: Ashley, are you thirsty? Ashley: Yep but water. I nodded, unwrapped myself from Angelus and walked behind the counter to get us a bottle of water from Giles little refrigerator.

I walked back to the table to be pulled down into Angelus’s lap. Danielle: Angelus? Angelus: My lap was cold. Ashley: I bet it was. She reached over and took her water as Willow giggled at us. Buffy looked up at Giles for help but he just shrugged his shoulders before walking over to make him a cup of tea. Giles: Tea anyone? Yelsin: Can you make Drusilla and me a cup Giles. Dru looked up for a brief second…Drusilla: Hi. And then went back to what she was doing. I looked over at Yelsin and smiled at Dru. Danielle: Dru I think you should mutiny he’s not letting you have any fun. Drusilla: I’m alright mu…Danielle. I shrugged and drank my water as Giles walked back and handed Yelsin two cups of tea. He then picked up a book and started to read through it. Giles: I would appreciate it if you would help with researching so we can be ready when the time comes. With a loud collective sigh we all picked up a book and started to read as he smiled. Giles: Thank you.

We sat there for a few minutes until I got restless and started to wiggle in Angelus’s lap. He lean down and whispered into my ear. Angelus: Don’t do that lass. I looked up at him with innocent smile. Danielle: Do what? He grunted and moved me off his lap as Buffy shook her head. I shot her a look and went back to reading as I leaned against Angelus as he wrapped his arm around my waist. Spike sighed and started to twist a strand of Ashley’s hair around his fingers as he read. Xander: I think I’ve already read this book. Buffy: That’s possible. Willow: Giles has had these books for a few years. He reached over and grabbed another book from the pile. Drusilla: I think I’ve just read something about myself. Danielle: When Buffy was a Junior I read three books about Angelus. Ashley: I think there where two books about Spike unless you count the Watcher Dairies. Giles: I no longer count those. We all looked up. Yelsin: Why not. Angelus: They lie. I looked at him and frowned. Danielle: Really? Darla: Well doesn’t this look peaceful.

I turned toward the voice and tensed as I looked at Darla. Danielle: I thought Angelus killed you. Darla walked over and smiled at her little family. Darla: Well you see when Angelus killed me, I was given a choice to live as I was or die. Well you can guess what I chose. Ashley: To be a slut, cause that’s what you look like in that outfit. I noticed that she was wearing a black leather skirt with a form fitting red top. Danielle: Nice one Ash. She went back to snuggling with Spike as I sat myself back in Angelus’s lap and smirked at her as I felt Angelus’s arms wrap around my waist pulling me even closer to him. Angelus: Hello Darla. Darla: Hello my boy.

Danielle: What are you doing here? And if it involves getting Angelus you can forget it. I pulled his head down and kissed him with all the passion I had in me as Angelus pulled me closer to him. I moved away from the kiss and looked at her as he kissed down my neck. Danielle: So you can take your skanky little Euro ass and leave us alone. She smiled at me and at Angelus. Without warning she picked me up and brought me close. Darla: I think not. She threw me against a shelving unit where I landed with a thud as the pieces fell around me. Buffy: Danielle! She looked at Angelus and at Darla. Buffy: You are so dead…again. Angelus was the first to hit her. Darla: Welcome home my boy.

I blinked a few times as I woke up. Danielle: God I feel like I was thrown into a shelf. I looked at where I landed and realized that I was thrown into a shelf. I sat up and felt a pain in my right side. I looked down and noticed that a piece of pottery was lodged into my stomach. I reached down and tried to pull it out. Danielle: Fuck! Yelsin: Danielle. I looked up as he was thrown into the counter. Danielle: Yelsin! I looked to my left to find Ashley knocked out by the stairwell. I stood up on shaky feet as I watched the fight. Danielle: Angelus? I moved to touch my stomach and started to fall again.

With one last hit to Darla’s face he caught me before I could hit the ground. Angelus: Danielle can you hear me? I blinked a few times and looked at him. Danielle: It hurts. He carried me over to the counter top. Angelus: I’m going to lie down you. He laid my head down on the counter before looking at the piece of pottery lodge in my side. I blinked a few times as I looked up at him. Danielle: Angelus it hurts so much. He took a hold of the piece of pottery before looking at me. Angelus: This is going to hurt siog. I smiled up at him as I grabbed a hold of his hand. Danielle: I trust you…with my life. I held on to his hand a bit tighter as he took an unnecessary breath before he ripped the piece out of my stomach. Danielle: Ow!!!!!!!! That hurt you fucking idiot. Angelus: I told you it would. I looked down and watched as he ripped my shirt before placing a piece of my shirt on the wound to stop the blood flow. Danielle: Thanks. I smiled at him before passing out again. Angelus: Danielle? He looked down to find that the piece of cloth soaked with my blood. Angelus: No, I will not loose you. Before anyone could stop him, he morphed and licked the blood away hoping that it would stop the flow.

The others continued to fight against Darla while Angelus stopped the bloody flow from my stomach for the time being. Buffy: Hey Angelus we could us a little help if your done making out with my cousin. Angelus: I love you. With one final kiss to my lips he went back to the fight. I woke up and slowly sat up to notice a piece of shelving unit sat on the counter beside me. I looked at the others still fighting and smiled at the idea that if they could move her closer to me I could so stake her. I smiled to myself as her face changed. Danielle: Who would have thought she was a vampire…wait the outfit gave it away?

I picked up the stake as Xander’s voice sounded in my head telling me that he built the shelves out of maple wood just incase we were every attacked at the shop. I moved to the side of the counter as Angelus and Buffy fought against her forcing her toward me. When they had moved her close enough, I lunged and staked her from behind. Danielle: Go back to hell bitch. She turned and looked at me. Darla: I’ll get you little society girl. With that she was dust. Danielle: Yeah as what a big pile of dust, I’m so afraid…not.

I smiled as my family made their way over to us. Angelus walked over and pulled me into his arms as I smiled at everyone. Danielle: Hey guys. So when do I get a medal for killing the undead bitch. With a smile Buffy moved to hug me. Buffy: Later and maybe a…. Without warning I passed out again as Angelus held me close. The others watched as Yelsin moved some hair away from my face. Yelsin: You did good Danni. He kissed my forehead and looked at Ashley. Ashley: I think we should move her before she wakes up. Angelus picked me up and looked to Giles for help. Giles: The training room has a couch; we also need to check her wound as well. He opened the door so Angelus could walk inside as the others waited outside.

He pointed to the couch resting on the far wall. Giles: You can put her there. Angelus walked over and sat me down on the couch. I turned my head forcing some hair to fall in my face which he moved out of my eyes for me. Unaware to him the others watched from the doorway as Giles took out the first aid kit. He stopped to walk over to us when he heard Angelus. Angelus: Please come back to me siog. He closed the door on the others before walking over to Angelus and I. Giles: Do you love her?

Angelus looked up at the older man as he handed him the first aid kit. Angelus: I do….why do you ask? Giles sat down beside my feet as Angelus wiped the blood away from my stomach. Giles: Because I think of her and the others as my children. I want to make sure she would be taken care of. Can you do that for her and the others? Angelus looked at me and smiled gently before looking at Giles. Angelus: I will. Giles nodded and went back to what he does best…watching.

A few minutes passed by and Giles spoke up about something that was has been bothering him for a few days. Giles: What you’re going to do will either mend or tear this family apart. Angelus gave him a look as he tried to dress my wound. Giles: Buffy talks in her sleep. Every night she calls out to Danielle as if she’s already gone…I fear she might feel that she can’t do anything about it when the time comes. I know that when the time does come she will want to join your family as well the others. Angelus: What about you, would you join us? Giles glanced at me before kissing my forehead. Giles: To be with the women I love and those I think of as my children…I would move hell itself. Angelus looked at him as Ripper pasted over his features.

Angelus looked at him confused. Giles: She told me everything Angelus. Angelus nodded in understanding as he went back to looking after me. Angelus: I figured she would. Giles: She stayed with me the night you found her. I walked into the living room and to find her crying. She told me that it should never have happened this way. I held her close as she told me what happened. When she was done I wanted to tell her that I understood but she saw what I was hiding from the others for such a long time. All she did when I finally told her how I felt about Buffy was smile. I didn’t understand why but I was happy that someone in Buffy’s family approved of the way I felt about her. Do me a favor and make her happy. Giles touched his shoulder as he looked at him. Giles: She has had too much pain in her life to worry about anything else. Angelus looked down at me…his sleeping siog banphrionsa (fairy princess).

Angelus: Last night I could have sworn I’ve died and went to heaven when I held her in my arms. She was the last thing I thought of and the first person I wanted when I woke. Giles: I understand. The door opened slowly as Buffy walked in. Buffy: I hate to interrupt but can I see my cousin. Giles nodded as Angelus kiss me on the lips and whispered “I love you mo siog banphrionsa” Giles gently kissed me on the forehead and left leaving Buffy and I alone.

Buffy sat down beside me and took my hand in hers as she looked at me. She sat there for a few moments when she sensed Angelus watching her. Buffy: I know you want to be with her right now but can we be alone. He looked at both of us noticing for the first time the differences between us such as the color of our hair and body type. Angelus: Alright… but trust me Slayer when I say I want only the best for her. With another kiss to my forehead he turned and walked over to the door. Angelus: I love her Buffy. He walked out of the room closing the door behind him. Buffy: I know you do…Angel.

Once the door was closed she tighten her hold on my hand. Buffy: You’re stupid you know that. I mean you could’ve been killed just like Aunt Dawn but no you just had to go and play the hero. I don’t even try to understand why I was chosen but I’m glad I was if it meant you would be safe. Sometimes I still wake up in the middle of the night calling out to you and wanting to make sure you’re safe. She touched her head to our hands before looking up at the ceiling. Buffy: God I hate that you have to become what I have to fight. She moved some hair away from my face and kissed my forehead. Buffy: You deserve Angel so much more then I did. I just wish you can be alive to experience it with me.

She let go of my hand and looked any where but at me. Buffy: I guess that’s why we’re so close. You with your stupid destiny and here I am stuck with mine. She sighed. Buffy: I wish I could come with you. Giles and I talked about having kids but I don’t want to bring them into this world knowing what I know. I guess if I wasn’t the Slayer then I would want to have his kids. But here on the Hellmouth, it would be suicide to bring a child into the world. I mean a child born from a Slayer and a Watcher would be like a super baby. I can’t do that; I won’t do that to any child. God I wish you would wake up. I blinked and looked at her as she hung her head in our hands.

Danielle: I’m awake you big freak. I slowly sat up and looked around the room. Danielle: Who could get any sleep with you talking? No wonder Giles always seems tried. She looked up and hugged me. Buffy: Thank God you’re awake. I returned her hug and groaned a few seconds later. Danielle: Buffy I love you but can you please let go I have to breathe and I don’t want to bleed on you. She let go of me and sat back as I put pressure on my wound. Buffy: Are you alright? I looked at her with hooded eyes as blood trickled through my fingers. Danielle: I’m good but I think I could use that first aid kit you have around here and you look like you went ten rounds with a grizzly bear also I’m pretty sure I pulled something. I moved her hair away to get a better look at the cut over her eyebrow. Danielle: Come on let’s get you cleaned up before your man comes in. She walked over to the little sink and soaked a rag as I picked up the first aid kit from the floor trying not to bleed everywhere.

She had a seat on the couch as I opened the kit. Danielle: What’s really bothering you? Buffy: Nothing. I frowned at her. Danielle: I can tell there’s something wrong and don’t even try to hide it cause I will find out missy. I took a pin from my hair and pinned some of her hair away from her eye so I could reach her cut better. She looked down at me as she answered.

Buffy: I’m sorry about missing Aunt Dawn’s funeral. I noticed tears in her eyes. I reached over and wiped the blood away from her cut. Danielle: It’s alright. I understand that you had something big going on and that you need to focus on that. Buffy: Adam on top of mom being sick… but that doesn’t mean I should abandon family.

I placed a bandage on her cut. Danielle: Buffy you didn’t abandon me. You and Aunt Joyce where the first people to offer my friends and I a place to stay while we grieved after you saved the world from a crazed man, demon, and computer hybrid monster thing that wanted to create others like him while dealing with Aunt Joyce being sick. Buffy: Mom and I. I moved to check the bandage. Danielle: If anything you are a wonderful person. Don’t beat yourself up about something you couldn’t control. Or I will.

She laughed and looked at her hands. Buffy: Like you could. I sat the kit down and looked at her. Danielle: Hey even with your fancy Slayer powers I can still take you. She sat there and played with the bottom of her shirt. Danielle: Alright, enough with the quite Buffy, your freaking me out. I think I know what is wrong. She looked at me with faint tears in her eyes as I brushed the tears away. Danielle: I am not and I repeat am not abandoning you to be with Angelus. If I could find a way to be with him and still be human I would but this is all I got. I will not love you any less when it happens…I may try to kill you but I won’t love you any less. You’ll still be my older cousin, the same person I ran to when I when I thought the boogie man was in my closet and I will never forget it. If you ever and I mean this with all my heart, if you ever want to come over to be with us just ask and we’ll find a way to do it so that you and Giles can be together. She gave me a hug. Buffy: God me as a vampire can you imagine. I laughed with her. Danielle: Vampires of the world beware. She smiled and hugged me again.

Buffy: I love you, remember that. I stroked her hair. Danielle: I will, now help me get this bloody cut cleaned up before Angelus comes back and does it. I have a fun feeling that if he does clean this up I will never hear the end of it about putting my life in danger. Buffy: Deal as long as you don’t tell Giles about that one time when you and I went to LA. Danielle: And beat up a bunch of vampires and you were sliced down the side. She nodded. Danielle: Deal…how did you hide it from him anyway? Buffy: I wore pants and long shirts for a few days. Danielle: I hate you and your Slayer healing power. She laughed and removed Angelus’s bandage. Buffy: This isn’t too deep but it will hurt. I nodded that I understood as she cleaned and bandaged my wound. She looked at my shirt and frowned.

Danielle: So will I live doc? Buffy: It was close but you’ll live except your shirt is like totally lost. I shrugged and pushed her. Danielle: Help my fix this so it looks some what decent until I get home to change. She helped me to stand. Buffy: Fine but don’t blame me if it turns out wrong. Take off your shirt. I did and handed it to her as I stood in the room wearing a simple white strapless bar. She picked up a pair of sicorss and cut away the bottom of the shirt where Angelus ripped it.

She handed it back to me a few minutes later. Buffy: Here ya go. Danielle: Thanks…I looked down and noticed that she cut away half of my shirt. Danielle: I think you destroyed it even more. Buffy: Don’t blame me blame your boyfriend. Danielle: I so can to blame you. Buffy: Whatever. You just want to be like me. I pulled the shirt on and looked at her. Danielle: Yeah I so do… but you have to buy me a new shirt. We walked over to the door; I opened it and in fell Xander, Willow, Ashley and Yelsine. Danielle: Hey do you guys eavesdrop on everyone or are we just special? Before I could move I was pulled into a huge group hug.

I stood there with everyone but Spike, Dru, Angelus, Buffy and Giles hugging me. I chuckled to myself and looked at the people hugging me. Danielle: Alright, a little freaked out right know. They didn’t move away from me. Danielle: Guys I love you all very much but can you please let me go. I’m still in some pain and I think someone is touching my butt. They let go and Xander refused to look me in the eyes as they backed away. Xander: Sorry Danni…that was me. I raised an eyebrow at him before smiling to myself. Danielle: I know you couldn’t…I heard Angelus clear his throat as I smirked to myself. Danielle: Thanks for removing your hand Xander. Angelus shot Xander a look as Ashley pulled me into another hug before I could say something. Xander just moved away from him as he looked at Ashley and me.

Ashley held on to me tight as she spoke into my ear. Ashley: You do that again I will personally kill you, bring you back and kill you again. I let a small giggle escape as I pulled away from her slightly. Danielle: From now on I promise no heroics I’ll leave that to Buffy and the others. She let go of me as Yelsin gave me a quick squeeze and a kiss to my forehead before moving away from me. Yelsin: You better remember or no more shoes for you. I could feel my eyes widen at him as I stood there in shock. Danielle: God do you have to be like so damn mean beside she started it.

I smiled at my friends as Spike and Dru hugged me as I stood there surprised. Danielle: Um… hi? Spike looked at me before kissing my forehead as Dru nuzzled my neck. Spike: Don’t ever do that again Mum or I will lock you away with help from Angelus. I returned their hug with as much love as I could. Danielle: I promise. I looked at him and Dru before giving them each a small kiss to the cheek. They let go a few minutes later as Buffy pulled the others out of the room. Buffy: Come on everybody she needs some air. I spotted Giles standing by the door just waiting.

Danielle: Giles? He smiled at me before pulling me into a fatherly hug. I snuggled into his arms as he whispered into my ear. Giles: I don’t know what I would have done if I had lost you. Danielle: Can we not find out? He kissed my forehead before giving into another hug. Giles: I think we can arrange that. I looked up at him as I smiled. Danielle: Thanks, Dad. He let me go with a simple tug of my hair before walking out of the room to leaving Angelus and I alone. Giles: We’ll wait outside while you two talk. I gave him a small smile as he closed the door behind him.

We stood in the training room just looking at each other. Danielle: Can you say something because this silence thing is really annoying. Before I could do anything he pulled me into a hug. I laid my head against his chest and sighed into his shirt. Angelus: Never do that again. Danielle: I’m sorry. I couldn’t let her take you away from me again just after I found you. Angelus: I promised you that I will never leave you. I didn’t even try to hide the tears that where falling from my eyes. Danielle: I know but when she looked at you all I could think about was the night she took you away and I wanted her to die for what she had done. I’m sorry. He wrapped his arms around me as he kissed my forehead.

Angelus: I talked with Giles. He said that you told him what happened four years ago. I nodded…when I looked up at him as he moved a piece of hair behind my ear. Danielle: I had every intention of not coming back here but my mother got sick and passed away a few months ago. I had to choose between getting a job that I would hate to pay for the rent or move in with Aunt Joyce who was still recovering from surgery. I called Giles to talk to him about what I wanted to do. He’s like the father I never had. I placed my hand on his chest and snuggled into his arms as I thought about everything that happened in the last few years. Danielle: Forgive me…I didn’t know how to get a hold of you other wise I would have talked to you. He touched my chin and raised it so I was looking straight into his eyes. Angelus: I will always forgive you. I melted into his kiss as soon as his lips touched mine. I pulled away from him with a frown on my face. Danielle: I hate it when you do that. He smiled at me as he played with my hair. Angelus: Why siog? Danielle: Because I seem to agree with whatever you want. He smirked and kissed me again forcing me to never want to leave his arms.

That night I stood in front of my mirror wearing a black leather mini skirt with a maroon lace halter top and black leather boots. I curled my hair in loose ringlets and my make up was done with ease thanks to Buffy’s help. I looked both natural and beautiful with my lips done in pink while my eyes outlined in black eyeliner and a light red eye shadow. Danielle: So…what do you think? I turned and smiled at Ashley as she smoothed away any wrinkles from her black leather mini, black boots and dark blue lace halter top. Ashley: Perfect, what about me? Danielle: You’ll knock his socks…does Spike wear socks? Ashley: I don’t even think he wears underwear…well all I know is that he wouldn’t take his jeans off when we fell asleep last night. I turned and looked at her in mid lipstick fix up. Danielle: That is a visual I so did not need. I looked at my alarm clock before going back to fix my lipstick. Danielle: What’s taking Yelsine so long? Ashley shrugged as she checked her appearance.

We stood in front of my mirror as he walked in a few minutes later wearing black dress pants, black boots with a red silk shirt under a black leather jacket. He also wore a few rings, well the ones you never see him without and a smirk that could match Spike’s and Angelus’s with easy. Danielle: Wow. I looked him up and down with a smile. Danielle: You’re a mix between Angelus and Spike or am I just seeing things. Yelsin smirked at me as he walked over to the mirror to check his new hair cut. It was short with a messy look to it. Yelsin: Very funny.

The door opened and in walked Buffy. She was dressed in a light green halter dress with black sandals. Buffy: We should be going. I reached for my jacket but was pulled away by Yelsin. Danielle: Yelsin I need my jacket. Yelsin: You two had enough time to primp were leaving. Danielle and Ashley: Hey! I stood there and placed my hands on my hips as I smirked at him. Danielle: I’ll have you now that I could primp for a few more minutes’ mister. Yelsin: I know. With a sigh we followed him down the stairs and left the house. Ashley: Bastard. Yelsin: Damn right.

We walked into the Bronze and went straight to the dance floor. Ashley and I were dancing close enough to Yelsin to make both guys and girls want us. I was about to wrap an arm around Yelsin’s neck when I felt someone pull me against their chest. I turned around and noticed it was not the man I wanted to be dancing with. Instead it was some college pretty boy with brown hair, green blue eyes and a face that read complete innocence like I said a pretty boy. Basically someone that wouldn’t know a damn thing about the world I really live in.

Riley: Hey I’m Riley, do you want to dance? I smirked at him as I tried move away. Danielle: Sorry but I’m waiting for someone. I turned to walk away but he grabbed my arm turning me around to face him. Riley: What are you worried about? It’s just one dance. I opened my mouth to speak when I heard him. Angelus: That would be me.

I pulled out of his arms and rested my head against Angelus chest. Danielle: I’m glad you could make it. How was your dinner? He gently kissed me before pulling away to smirk at Riley. Angelus: Fast. I looked over at Riley as Angelus winked at him. Danielle: Riley I would like you to meet my fiancé Angelus, Angelus this is Riley. I looked up at Angelus with a small smile as I ran my fingers up and down his chest. Danielle: He wanted to dance with me. What do you say about that? Angelus looked at him with a smirky smile. Angelus: I say if you go near my girl again I will personally come after you and that goes for her friends to. He wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me away. Angelus: Come on the others are waiting. I looked over his shoulder at him at Riley. Danielle: Trust me he means it.

We joined the others at a table that sat near the bar. Yelsin: Hey where did you go off to? Danielle: Some jerk thought I wanted to dance with him but Angelus straightened him out. Buffy looked at him in confusion. Buffy: You didn’t kill him did you? Danielle: Buffy?! I buried my head in Angelus’s chest as he laughed at what Buffy said. Angelus: No I didn’t kill the stupid farm boy. I leaned into his chest and felt his arms tighten around my waist. Buffy: What? The others shook their heads at her as we laughed.

Drusilla smiled as she looked over my outfit. Drusilla: You looked beautiful mummy. I leaned over and gently kissed her cheek as she sat in Yelsin’s lap. Danielle: Thanks princess. She snuggled into Yelsin’s embrace with a small smile on her face as Ashley looked around the table. Ashley: So I was thinking we should do the dancing thing before any college boy’s walk over here to try and steal Danielle and me away again. Spike: They come near you and they’ll be pushing up daisies. I giggled as Ashley took hold of Spike and pulled him onto the dance floor. Ashley: He is so romantic. I looked up at Angelus with a small smile. Danielle: Dance with me? Angelus: Anything for you siog. I pulled him onto the dance floor smiling to myself.

I smiled as I danced against him. Angelus: You wore lace and leather tonight. I moved further into his embrace with a saucy smile. Danielle: I did? I moved behind him and brought my hand over his back and let it drop further gently touching his ass. I danced back in front of him so he could touch my arms and placed his right hand on the small of my back. Angelus: Someone is being a bit adventures tonight. I smiled and moved closer to him. Danielle: Maybe. I looked up at him with hooded smoldering eyes. Danielle: What are you going to do about it? He pulled me flush against his body and moved with me. Angelus: Whatever I want.

I brought my arms up around his neck. Danielle: I love it when you’re commanding. He captured my lips and pulled me even closer to him. We parted and all I could do was smile at him. Danielle: I love it when you do that. With a smile he danced with me for a bit longer before pulling me back to the others. Angelus: I think my lap is getting cold. I giggled and followed him back to the table where Ashley, Spike, Willow and Xander where. Danielle: Is that all you think about Angelus? He just looked back at me with a smirk as we walked back to the table with an arm around my waist. Angelus: We can leave and they would never know or I can take you up to the balcony and let you watch them dance as I…I moaned as his hands ran over my body. I just smiled at him as we walked over to the table. Danielle: You never know where the night would lead. He just smiled at me.

Xander and Willow smiled at us as Angelus sat down in an empty chair before pulling me onto his lap as Xander raised his eyebrow at us. Xander: You do that a lot. Angelus winked at him. Angelus: I find it very comfortable. Danielle: You should try it some time Will you might like it. She turned beat red and looked away from us. Willow: I’ll think about it. I picked up my drink and took a sip as Angelus ran kisses down my back. Danielle: Angelus…he smiled against my skin as he continued with his purest. Danielle: You’re making this really difficult to for me to control myself. Angelus: Then let yourself go siog. I turned to face him when I heard. Riley: Hey Danielle.

I looked up and found the same guy college looking down at me. Danielle: I have a boyfriend you’ve met him all of twenty minutes ago. I turned away from him as Angelus looked up to notice the same guy that was hitting on my earlier stood in front of us not getting that I was currently sitting in his lap. I glanced around the table to see Yelsin and Drusilla making out as Spike pulled Ashley into his lap before Angelus voice pulled me back to what was going on. Angelus: What do you want boy? Riley opened his mouth to say something when Buffy walked up to the table and spoke. Buffy: Hey guys. What’s going on?

I pointed to the walking farm boy as Angelus went back to kissing and licking my back. Danielle: Angelus…that feels great. The others went back to what they were doing as Buffy and Giles frowned at Riley. Giles: I thought you went home Riley? He glanced at him before looking at Angelus and I. Riley: I still have a life here. So do you want to dance? I rolled my eyes at him as Angelus kissed any exposed part of my back. Angelus: Does it look like she is any position to want to go with you? I moaned as he blew against my back. Danielle: God Angelus that…I looked at Buffy and at Riley. Danielle: Buffy make him understand that I have a boyfriend who is making it very hard to not to want to leave and have some fun at home. She smirked at us as I turned to look at Angelus…he was smiling at me. Danielle: You are seriously making this hard to not let you take me against the wall near the bathroom. His smile grew as his hand traveled over my hips. Angelus: Is that a promise?

Buffy: Riley, what are you doing here hitting on my cousin while she is sitting in her boyfriends lap? He looked at her as Giles wrapped his arms around her shoulders. Riley: I thought you had patrol. Ashley: He knows about you? She sent glares at the soldier as Spike massaged her shoulders between kisses to her neck. Buffy: I was patrolling one night and found him fighting a vamp near Whiteman Hall. Yelsine: So you’re part of the Commando’s.

Ashley: Commando’s? She looked around the table as best she could seeing that Spike was massaging her shoulders and whispering things into her ear…naughty things. Ashley: Who are they? Willow: A government based agency that finds and experiments on beings of darkness. I told you all about them at the Scooby meeting last week remember. Ashley: Right I was thinking about something else sorry. She shifted her position in Spike’s lap and started to play with the buttons on his shirt as he continued to whisper things to her. Willow: I understand. She smiled as Xander ran his hand up and down her spine.

Angelus looked him up and down. Angelus: You’re nothing more then a simple farm boy aren’t you? I stood and walked around him as I giggled at Angelus’s joke. Danielle: You hunt vampires and demons? I shook my head and took Angelus’s hand as I stood next to him for a few minutes until Angelus let go of my hand to cup my hip as I leaned against his chair. Riley: What of it? I could hunt them better then any of you. Before I could defend Buffy and myself, Giles did.

Giles: You have no idea what a Slayer can really do. You think that a woman needs to be protected for everything, never to be able to try something out for herself. I watched as Giles advanced on the young man…I noticed that he was in complete Ripper mode this should be interesting to say the least. Riley: You’re just hiding behind her, if you knew what power she holds you would find a way to keep it for yourself. Buffy: Is that you talking or is that Maggie? Riley looked at her in anger before hearing Yelsin, Spike, and Angelus laughing at him. Riley looked at them. Spike: You know nothing about our kind Captain Cardboard.

Riley: What are you laughing at? Yelsine stood and looked at him as he held Drusilla’s hand in his. Yelsin: You. You have no idea who you’re dealing with. I stood behind Angelus’s chair and laid my hand on his shoulders as I ran my hand up and down his chest. Danielle: You have a lot to learn about our world boy. We’ve seen more in our lives then you have seen in your nightmares. I glanced at Ashley as she laid her head on Spike’s chest as she looked at Riley. Ashley: So I suggest that you and your little friends pack up and move out before something bad happens to ya. Without warning Drusilla spoke causing all of us to look at her. Drusilla: The world is much older then you imagine and the only thing that can stop it from ending is that girl. She looked at Buffy and smiled before taking Yelsin’s hand in hers. Riley moved closer to Ashley and me.

Riley: You know nothing about me. Xander: What’s there to know? Riley looked at him as he stood to look him in the face. Xander: You were raised on a farm in Iowa, joined the military right out of high school, picked up by the Special Forces to kill the things that go bump in the night and shipped here. He raised his fist and hit him in the nose. Willow: Xander! I watched as she got up from her seat and bent down to hold him in her arms. Danielle: Asshole.

I walked over and bent down beside Willow as she looked at me in fear. Danielle: Hey let me see. Xander pulled his hand away so I could see how bad he was hurt. Xander: Hey Danni how bad do I look? I smirked at his attempt at a joke. Danielle: Like you went three rounds with a fungus demon. I reached for a napkin and gave it to Willow. Willow: Thanks. I nodded and stood. Ashley: Your nothing more then the governments play soldier, doing what they want when they want not caring who or what stands in your way.

Willow: Xander are you alright? Xander: Will, I’m fine. I watched him stand with her help before they looked at Ashley and I. Xander: Hey Riley I’m only telling you this because I don’t want your death on my hands. He looked at him before glancing at me. Xander: If you touch her you’ll be a dead man. Riley looked back at me as I smiled smugly. Danielle: Kiss my as…With that he slapped both Ashley and I across the face. I looked at him as I held my face in my hand before smirking at him. Danielle: You just did a really stupid thing. We stepped back and held each others hands as Ashley waved at him. Ashley: Bye Captain Cardboard. Angelus and Spike were on their feet punching him before anyone could move an inch. We watched him land on his ass on the dance floor about five feet away.

Buffy: Shouldn’t we stop this? I noticed Angelus and Spike were getting brutal with there fighting. Danielle: You’re right but don’t say that he didn’t deserve it cause he does did you see what he did to Ashley and I. Giles winked at me before walking over to them. Giles: I would not think of saying such a thing to say. I smiled at him and looked back at the dance floor to notice that Riley had Angelus on his back with a knife ready to kill him. Danielle: Angelus! I watched Riley’s hand rise and come down all in the same time frame and before I could move to help him Angelus grabbed his wrist. Angelus: Do you really think that would kill me? With that Angelus kicked him away sending him into the stage.

I turned and looked at Buffy for help. Danielle: We have to stop them before he finds out that he can’t die. Buffy and I walked out onto the dance floor as Riley hit Angelus in the face a few times. I nodded to her and Buffy reached for Riley as I reached for Angelus. Buffy: Sorry Riley but I can’t let you kill him. He wrestled against her hold as I whispered into Angelus’s ear as I stood in front of him. Danielle: Angelus, stop this before he finds out. Riley pushed Buffy into me and we landed on the floor. I looked at her as I felt a new bruise coming on. Danielle: I thought you said he was a normal guy. Buffy: I thought he was. Danielle: Then why does he hit like you. Angelus looked at us as we sat up and then looked at Spike who was holding his own against two of Riley’s friends. Angelus: Spike, get the girls out of here. Spike grabbed my arm to pull me away after sending the other two guys across the room.

Spike: Come on mum. Dad says go we should go so we go. I shook his hand off as I looked at him. Danielle: Riley will find out what he is and send his friends after us if we don’t stop them. Spike gave me a look that simply said are you sure. Danielle: Please Spike you know Angelus as well as I do he won’t stop until he’s dead and as much as it hurts me to say this because I really don’t like the guy we can’t let him kill him. He nodded and yelled at Yelsin and Xander who was keeping Riley’s friends away from the fight. Spike: Yelsin, Chubs give me a hand. They moved to grab Angelus as he took Riley’s feet out from under him.

He bent down and looked at him face to face. Angelus: I will not be so kind next time. Leave my girl alone boy. I pushed my way through the group to find him standing over Riley; I took his arm and pulled him to face me as he looked at me in his vampire guise. Danielle: Angelus we have to leave before he fi…. Riley stood and looked at us as I gently touched his face. Riley: You’re dating a vampire. I looked at him slightly confused at him statement. Danielle: What of it? I looked back at Angelus and tried to pull him away. Danielle: We need to be going. Angelus wrapped his arm around my waist and moved to leave when he spotted Riley pulling something out of his pocket before pushing a small button.

Riley: We’ll get you and your friends this time Buffy. I looked back at him scared when Buffy kicked him hard enough in the face to make him pass out. I looked at her confused as she stood over him. Buffy: He was annoying me. Danielle: Thanks. Giles: We should be leaving before his friends arrive to find him unconscious. Angelus took a hold of my hand and pulled me out of the club with the others following close behind. Danielle: Great just how I wanted my night to end. I took one more look at Riley and smiled as he laid there unconscious. Angelus: You get what you get, lass. I looked up at him with a smile. Danielle: Somehow with you around I hardly think this will be the last time you do this. Angelus: I protect what is mine siog. I sighed as I snuggled into his arms as we walked out of the Bronze.
