Spoilers: After "Seeing Red" When Buffy told her about Spike trying to rape Buffy.
Pairing: John/Dawn
Summary: Dawn goes to the movies alone and comes back with a man
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the Buffy characters. Joss does.

Dawn was sitting in the cinema watching a movie all alone. She just wanted to get away. Tears were in her eyes, nobody could see that, because the space in the cinema is dark... She didn't sit alone, a man sat next to her.
FLASHBACK
Dawn ran into the cinema after a long run. ""How could he? How could Spike do this to my sister!"" She thought. Dawn wanted to scream out that last part. She hated Spike so much now. "I'm probably gonna stake if if he ever gets back." she whispered to herself as she looked for a seat. She saw a nice seat next to a man. ""Probably eightteen."" She thought. Without any hesitation, she sat down next to him.
John was watching the commercials on the cinema screen. Then from the corner of his perepheral vision, he saw the girl taking the seat next to him..."Probably sixteen."" John thought.
END FLASHBACK
That had been a couple of minutes ago. The credits of the movie were rolling off the screen... John looked at the girl. He saw she had been crying all through the movie.
"What's the matter? Something bad happened?"
Dawn suddenly regained herself, she had been staring so intently to the cinema screen that she didn't notice the man looking at her. Dawn quickly got up and wanted to run away.
"Yes, not to me. To my sister."
"Hi, I'm John."
"Hi, John. I'm Dawn. Dawn Summers."
"Nice to meet you, Dawn. Say, do you wanna go have something to drink at the Expresso Pump?"
"Great idea, John."
"Then you can tell me anything that happened. If you want to."
"Okay."
