A Sound only you can hear.

Pairing: Buffy and Faith of course
Summery:
Set in the season that never was... season 8, the whole slaying brigade are in Cleveland, helping to keep evil at bay, whilst Buffy, faith and the family are now living in sunny L.A, living it up and living normal for once.
Characters involved in the story: Buffy, Faith, Wood, Dawn, Willow, Kennedy, Giles, Xander, Fred.
Chapter one:
Faith POV...
So here’s the low down on what’s been happening since we all saved the world and wiped sunnyhell off the map, the main gang minus a few who we miss, living in L.A, not to far from angel’s hotel, we live in a big mansion that used to be owned by some vampire who angel dusted a while back, there’s an annoying dent in the front gate, but apart from that, its pretty slammin, compared to the crap holes I’ve lived in before.
So Any how, we are all one big happy family, with the issues to go with, pretty much normal, if you look past the three slayers, one witch, an ex key, and a demon hunter, it’s perfect.
So B got a pretty good job in a martial arts school, teaching kids how to defend themselves, G and kid sis have become the head watchers of the new watchers council, they travel a lot, Red and ken, doing pretty well together, Red keeps busy with the magic’s, helping out whenever she can, and ken works for xanders construction company, and me, well I went to... wait for it... college, finished a year ago, completing my personal trainer course, me and wood own a gym, and yes we are together, going on 2 years now, longest commitment I have ever made, besides college.
So that pretty much sums it up... except for... “Faith LeHane?” the woman at reception called out, “that’s me...” Faith stood as she replied, “You can go in now.”
Faith smiled at the woman and entered the door to her left, “hello faith, take a seat, I will be with you in 2 minutes ok?
“No problem, mind if I pour myself a drink?” Faith looked at the juice on the woman’s desk.
The woman smiled as she dialled to make a phone call, faith walked to the desk, and poured herself some juice, then returned to her seat.
The woman sat down in a large comfy chair, “sorry about that faith, so where were we last time?”
Faith made her self more comfortable, she placed her drink on the stylish coffee table and proceeded to lie down on the psychologist's chair, Faith sighed and started to talk, “We got up to just before I came to sunnydale, just before I met Buffy outside the bronze…”
Ok pause, so this is my big secret, not even wood knows about this, I’ve been seeing Lianna for 3 months now, I thought it was about time I sorted through some of my issues, we started off from the beginning, as you always do, talking about my drunk mother, my really bad child hood, that even Lianna was shocked about, and she’s been counselling people for 15 years, but to get to the point, I’m in therapy.
“So I think we should try to focus on what lead you to what you did now, I think we should start with Buffy.” Lianna finished her sentence and took a sip of her juice.
“So what can you tell me about Buffy, the way you saw her then, and the way you see her now…start from the first time you met her.” Lianna sat quietly, waiting for faith to start.
Faith sat silently, reflecting on the first time she and Buffy had met, she remembered staking a vampire when she first introduced her self, and then after she and the gang relaxed and started talking in the bronze, “at first it was just casual observation, we had only just met, and I didn’t want to judge a book by its cover, that being said, I liked her right away, even though she wasn’t very open towards me, but I didn’t hold it against her, it was weird for me as well, so I respected her distance... at first.
I told her everything I could remember, from the beginning to the point where I came out of my coma and ended up in jail in L.A, oh I forgot to tell you, lianna is a supernatural therapist, she knows about me being a slayer, and all that.
Moving on now, “And what do you think of her now?” Lianna asked.
“I don’t really know, I mean after everything I did to her, we don’t have much of a connection, understandably, I mean we talk and hang out a little, and I think she’s almost forgiven me, but I don’t really know her anymore, we have both changed so much over the years, she’s pretty much a stranger to me now...” Faith sighed
“Well we have to stop now, but I think we are really getting somewhere faith, I’m very pleased with how much you have been able to open up about these things. We will pick up on this next week, same time ok?” Faith stood up and smiled as she shook lianna’s hand.
