Slowly nursing her bottle of Jack Faith let her thoughts wonder back to a time when all felt right. When Tara looked at her with those pale blue eyes she loved so and said that magic sentence that she would never forget, "I could fall for you if only you would let me." Too many years wasted to try now, Too far gone from her love, Her love. Faith loved Tara, She knew it. She refused it and she had lost it. Grumbling to no one really she quietly tried to rebuke the thoughts from her mind. "Come on Lehan. Get your shit together. She with Red now." Almost like vemon spat from a cobra as the name left her lips. Tossing what little money she had in pockets to the bartender she slowly started her journey to the rat infested motel she had broken in to. The place she called home. Since coming back to Sunnyhell as she called it so sweetly Faith had run into Buffy twice. Their meetings always ending in the same fashion. Faith being beat and Buffy screaming at she was no longer welcome here.

Crawling into their bed Tara silently allowed the tears to fall freely down her cheeks. It hurt to cry, She hurt. Willow had finally made her lose all hope in what little relationship they had left. Not even 24hours and she had broken heart-felt promise she had made. Not only had she broken her promise, She almosted costed Xander,Dawn,Buffy and her her own self to be killed. Tara knew she had to leave, But where to go? She had given her dorm up and surely they wouldn't have an opening so late into the year. Where was she to go from here? She wondered as she dried her eyes and begain to pack listening to her now 'ex' lover cry in the shower.

"You don't have to go you know?" Buffy held her tightly whispering into Taras ear standing in the door way while watching over Taras shoulder as the cab driver loaded the bags into the trunk. "I have to Buffy." She sniffled as they parted ways. "It isn't safe for me around her." "I HATE her!" Dawn screamed into Xanders chest as he held her close to him. He himself wishing strangely enough that it was Willow to be leaving, Not Tara. He loved his bestfriend but her choices lately had be dangerous. Since leaving Anya, Xander had been slowly seeing Dawn in a new light. He felt urges he didn't understand. Urges that would get his ass beat if only Buffy knew. "Oh Dawnie." Tara couldn't stand seeing the younger girl cry. "We'll go for milkshakes on the weekends, And movie nights! That is, If its okay with Buffy." She pleded silently with Buffy for it to be. "Yeah, See brat? We still have her. Just, She won't be here?" Fighting back more tears Dawn ran for her room not answering, Just running. She hated Willow for what she had done. "Stupid magic" she cried as she fell into her bed.

Night was slowly apporching as Faith geared up for patrol. "Stake? Check. Knife? Check. Leathers? Check." Rattling off her check list to herself has she tucked a small dagger into her belt. Tara stared at her small hotel room in awe of just how dirty and smelly it really was. "Oh Goddness what am I to do now mama'?" Laying back trying to keep from crying herself to sleep as she curled into a tight ball on her bed. She listened to the night centering her thoughts. "Air, I need a breathe of fresh air." Rolling from the bed grabbing her holy water in her hand Tara briskly walked outside her door looking into the ky gazing at the moon. "T-bear?" Faith whispered. Standing at the corner the building she thought her eyes were playing tricks. 'They must be.' The blonde never moved, Stepping closer she asked alittle louder. "T-bear?" Snapping her attention the voice they locked eyes. "Faith? What are you doing here?" Shocked wouldn't have covered what she was feeling. She was in jail, Wasn't she? "You're out? They let you out early?" Watching the ground Faith shook her head. "No, I busted free when I heared B died. Thought maybe I could be of some help ya know?" Looking up her head tilted slightly. "Oh." So soft she whisped had it not been for the extra hearing Faith would have missed it. "So where's you know? 'Red'? " Trying not to growl out she looked away as if searching for something in the sky. "Home I guess. I wouldn't.. wouldn't know. We're not together anymore." At that Faith gave her full attention to Tara almost asking her why not when Tara inturrupted. "So what are you doing out?" "Patrol." She shrugged the answer out. "You?" "Just needed a bit of air. It's stuffy in my room." "You stayin' here?" "It's all thats open." "Yeah. Yeah me too. It's dank but its home? I guess." "This isn't home Faith, Home is where the heart is."
