CHAPTER 1 - BUFFY DID WHAT?!

I was lying on my bed, staring at the ceiling. Well there wasn’t much else to do. YOU think of something if you are so god damn smart.

I just got back from patrol with Buffy and it wasn’t the most active experience I’ve had. One newbie vamp that B took care of, so I didn’t get to beat on anything. Ruined my day, ya know? Or... night. Whatever. Same difference.

So I got back to my place, an apartment. The mayor left me some money, or a whole damn shitload of it in fact, when he died. Couldn’t do much of anything with it when I was in a coma, so it just sat there. And I guess some how... increased? Somehow I got more money than he gave left for me, I don’t know how and I don’t care why, thats my lawyers job.

Yeah, he got me a lawyer too. I guess he’d figure I’d need one, what with all the murders I’ve done.

I really hate myself sometimes.

But, to back track a little, I got out of the coma, realized how much of a fuck head I was and get the hell out of SunnyD. About a month later B caught up with me, itchin to do a little justice on my ass but instead we had a long hug and cry session. But obviously, not after her doing some serious kicking of my butt. I sit up and get the computer, plug it in and sign onto the internet. I click on the AIM icon, I just got it a couple days ago. Buffy was telling me I should because its ‘cool’.

Its alright though, I guess. The only one I ever talk to is B, sometimes Red but the only time I’m on she’s sleeping, like every other normal person is doing at this hour.

I sign on and almost automatically a little box comes up.

I smiled and typed back, I’m glad she’s on, I would’ve been pulling out my hair bored otherwise.
