Omigoddess, that was... That was.. Words can not DESCRIBE what that was, or at least no words that I know of. But, for lack of a MUCH better word(s), it was bloody wonderful. And it was totally beyond what I thought anyone could do without make it sick and grotesque. Buffy reaction to all of this was completely true to character. I mean, look what happen when Wills told her she was a lesbian. And I am so incredibly happy it was Anya who (literally) knocked some sense into her. *appalause for Ahn* GO demon-girl!!! *smiles* Can't wait til the next chapter, and remember what I said last time about flamers! it seems as if i've been waiting for this forever - it has been one of my *favorite* fics and i was heartbroken that there was no closure!! Thank you so much for continuing! A year(ish) ago, this piece was the first slash i had ever read....what can i say, i'm now addicted. As for the concerned spuffy readers - you've taken us this far and it's excellent - i'm sure you have great things in mind! and who can resist a little slash?? Also, i've always been interested in the potential dynamic between vampXander and sireSpike....i am really enjoying your take on this relationship! and your Buffy is spot-on...i can just feel her righteous indignation rolling off the screen! *sigh* i love this. please continue...

Excellent! Really imaginative and very convincinI loI love your Tough Anya and how she forces Buffy to acknowledge a reality the Slayer wants to resist. I really appreciate the strategy of first resolving the relationship between Spike and Xander before you address the more fundamental issues between Spike and Buffy. Spike being allowed to be a vampire in the truest sense is fundamental to any relationship h may have with Buffy. Anya's role of guide is so important in all of this and works so well for resolving the dynamics. Your depiction of Xander's growing understanding of what it means to be a vampire and a Spike's fledge works really well. The sexuality of their relationship is explained and makes sense, at least to me. I think this is still going to be hard for Buffy, but I'm glad that she's been able to actually say what is bothering her. Loved the Anya-Buffy fight! Go Anya! I can't wait for the next chapter.

Oh! Me! MEEEEEE!!!!! I wanna watch the hot monkey sex!!!!!!!! *grins* I swear you are phycic, I've been using the term "hot monkey sex" since I was 11. That was FIVE YEARS AGO! *sighs* I suppose I won't sue. Awearwearing I probably could too. I'll tell my frien Ash to review and tell you about the whole "copy write" thing. *grins again* I'm nutters, I know. Pretty damn proud too. Anyways, can't wait for the next chapter. I so wanna see Xan and Spike's reaction to their audiance.in tin turns wicked* What fun this will be. Of course, the only reason I'm totally into this is cause I'm a bisexual freak who's just as keen on boys-on-boys as a 12 year-old boy who's found his father's newest issue of Playboy. But then again, we're talking about Spike-on-Xander here, so I'm sure there will be quite a few of mostly female readers who will enjoy the next chapter almost as much as I will. Almost... *sighs* Like I said, nutters. Either you love me, or you hate me. Well, more soon ~flamey
PS: Pay no attention to those homophobic bastards who will probably flame you for the little in this chapter and the whole lot (I hope) in the next. And also, take your time on the major Spuffy-ness, there's no rush. *glares at some of the readers* RIGHT PEOPLE? *hears muttered, angry and/or reluctant responses of confirmation* Right. *winks* Cheers.

Anya managed to extricate herself from Buffy?s grip and grinned wickedly at the Slayer, ?They?re at home, probably having hot monkey sex right about now. Wanna go watch??
Yes please!
I know that you said the Spuffyness will get there in time, and that's great, but in the meantime thank you for the promise of hot Spander sex!

Well as a fan and reader I can understand the need for people to want Spuffy NOW! But as someone who has also begun to dip her pen into the world of fanfiction I can understand the need to tell the story and let it progress the way you see it in your head. Relationships take time to develope, especially ones like Spike's and Buffy's. I think it will make it all the more satisfying once they do get together however. I can't wait until that happens because I know its going to be absolutely incredible. Keep up the great work and take your time. Your story is far from boring, and that's what counts.

I'm delighted to see that you have started Book 2; I've been waiting and hoping that you'd move forward on this really excellent story. It was welrth rth the wait! I agree completely with your thoughts on the slow development of the Spike/Buffy relationship. It seems clear that they have far too many issues to resolve regarding themselves, their relationship, Buffy's understanding of vampires, and now the new adjustments she needs to make regarding Spike's role in Xander's life. I am really glad that you are taking the time to develop this aspect of the story. I go back and read the beginning of the story, and re tha that while Buffy and Spike have come a long way, they still haven't really addressed some of the fundamental issues regarding how Buffy has treated Spike.
I know that some folks may not be happy that you are developing the Spike-Xander relationship first, but I think that it's critical that you fully work through that new and uncertain situation before you move back to the more fundamental Spike/Buffy relationship. If Spike and Xanare are unclear about what they mean to each other - in all respects - than Buffy will never understand how that relationship must mesh with what she has with Spike. It must be absolutely clear to her what the two vampires mean to each other, and how she must work that into her relationship with both of them, before she can finalize any relationship with Spike. Ie abe absolute faith and confidence that you will give us a well balanced, romantic, and Spuffy ending. But, it will be one that has addressed all of these plot elements in an understandable way. Sooooo, thanks for working through your block and having the courage to take the story in the direction that you want, rather than traying to satisfy the fans. And, thanks for giving Buffy the more substantial relationship with Anya. Without her, I don't think Buffy would have a hope in Hell of figuring this out. Buffy's not the sharpest tool in the tool chest - just the most dangerous! ;o) Thanks again for a great story.
