I don't understand why he has to leave his job to stay with her. Can't she become his secretary or something after she's done with school?
It's not like headmasters can't have a girlfriend or a wife.
William and Buffy are both immature at that point. I hoped Buffy would grow up with his influence... but she's only a self-centered little girl. And he revealed to be an idiot. Not because he fallen in love with her and he's ready to make sacrifice, but because he doesn't need to lose everything to stay with her. And if she doesn't understand this and she's not willing to wait a year to be with him, she's the most selfish and childish bitch I ever see.
