...i may have gone insane today. usually i'm a spander-all-the-way kinda girl, but somehow or another i picked up a couple spuffy fics today, and have now begun scanning the section. i'm a little ashamed of myself, as i'm pretty anti-spuffy most of the time. at least, realistically. like...never mind.

Hi! Just finished reading part 4. My desktop and laptop are both broken so I'm making do with my phone. Sorry for the late review but I couldn't not, even if it's hell typing on this phone. But never mind that... Let me just say WOAH! Cuz I was absolutely floored. I knew I just had to review this part on its own. Bravo! Absolutely amazing! That was some pretty intense writing there! I loved it! You had me in tears! Brilliantly written! I could feel all the emotions in there and they were all so excellently delivered. That was some top notch writing! You did really well! Looking forward to more of the same caliber in the next chap (put off reading it to review).
Also loved that you're portraying a wonderful Spike without a soul without Buffy making such a big fuss about it. I always believed that it wasn't necessary for him to have a soul to love Buffy (& do things to make her happy,whether they be good or bad) and was highly upset with the show that the Buffy there had a really really hard time getting over that. So thanks for that... And for giving us a Buffy willing to look past that. Thanks for dwelling on some of the issues that needed to be resolved in the show. Yey you!=)

Oh man, those two have tension so thick you could cut it with a stake. LOL. I loved how Spike was so flabbergasted that Buffy knew he was a vamp, and then buffy's reaction of course when she found out he knew she was a slayer. Again, I loved reading Spike's thoughts about what had happened to Buffy and what Angel had done to her. It seems like a souless vampire has more of a soul that Angel. Meanie pants. It was beyond sweet that Spike held Buffy and let her vent like that. Just holding her and listening, and whispering words of comfort. He is so sweet and so clearly taken with Buffy. The two have an amazing chemistry. I loved Spike's possesiveness on seeing the bite marks on her neck. Poor Buffy, the woman had been through a lot, and as you said, her friends expected her to be OK with what happened to her, they expected her to be strong because she is the slayer, but she's still human, and has the feelings that comes with the human condition. And somehow, a vampire, a stranger to her, picks up on all that, and understands it far better than any of her so called friends. This chapter was very sweet. I cannot wait to read more, as usual. ^.^
