There's been a lot of new chapters since I last visited this part of the site (and that's a VERY good thing to see when I'm checking up on the stories I've been reading). Well, I guess I'll get started...
Ch. 34 --
It appears that Angel is turning a little Angelus on us. That's cool with me. I always found Angel to be a bit boring. Angelus was the entertaining one. Poor Spike, though. With all this crap he's continually going through I wonder if he'll snap (in a completely violent blood thirsty way that would give Angelus a run for his money), or if he'll just crawl in a corner and continue to cry some more. Poor thing.
Ch 35 --
Yay, Giles. Again, poor Spike. I wonder where he's going to go?
Angel/Angelus is going to be pissed when he wakes up in that cage. ^_^ And I love an angry Angelus.
Ch. 36 --
LOL! Angel got castrated! I know it's wrong, but I couldn't help but laugh so hard when I read that. Like I said before, I was never much of an Angel fan. However, I like this new Angel. He's cute, like a teddy bear. I'm a terrible person, I know. Anyway, nice to see that things have gotten a lot better for Spike.

I think I'm done. This seems to have become a piece about torture and degradation with no hope or redemption. There aren't any characters to offset the constant fear and pain. I'm sure a lot of people find this much angst catharctic or something but with no laughter or happiness to balance out the rest of it it's just too dark and dismal for me.

I love what Spike did to Warren. I was expecting another torture scene but you surprised me. I think it's fitting that Warren's going to be in the program. (and I figured that was the person behind the door)
I can't wait to see how the reunion with Lindsey is going to turn out. Is Spike going to get violent? Or is he going to turn into a needy puddle of pudding? And how long are you going to keep this poor reader guessing? :)

*Spike grinned and threw his arms open wide. ?I?m a daddy!?*
That made me laugh. The whole scene just seemed so...Spike. You really do a great job of writing his character.

Angel is really pissing me off. I don't have a specific reason why, it's a lot of things all at once...
It's him being too over dominant with Spike. It's because of Spike's emotional state when they are together. And especially how Angel's actions keep reminding me of Lindsey and how he had treated Spike. And that Angel seems to know that some of the things he's doing to Spike just isn't right, but he tries to tell himself otherwise.
I just seriously want to punch Angel in the face right now.

With the way in which you wrote the ending to chapter 30 leaves me to believe that that's not Lindsey behind that door...
Sodomized with a bat, tortured, broken bones, dead, then having his corpes set on fire...
It still seems to be not enough for that bastard. I hope he gets reincarnated as a snail and someone steps on him (not that I condone violence against animals, but I will in this case). Anyway, thanks for this long awaited revenge chapter. ^_^ And thanks for creating a story that could get me to hate someone so much (a sign of great character writing).
Can't wait to see where the plot goes from here.

All right Spike! Big Bad gets revenge! Weird thing is I could have sworn Lindsey was staying with Oz. Would braces work on a vampire if they can stay in gameface long enough? Please put Angel and Spike together. Pretty please? With sugar on top. I bet together they could figure out aay to destroy the Initiative

I have to agree with Alwaysand. As soon as the bottle broke I was expecting Spike to get a wicked grin on his face and head over there to retrieve a shard. However...

I liked it that for a moment McDonald wondered 'How did he stand it?'
It's just nice that the bastard had such a thought about what he was going through and compared it to what those who he'd forced to do the same must have gone through.
Getting a taste of his own medicine and now understanding just how horrible it really is, I like that. Keep it up. :)

And here I was expecting he'd use the end of the broken bottle. Still don't like Buffy. MacDonald is getting what he deserves and I'm still waiting to see who the pairing in this is.
