I am really loving this story, it certainly is different. I really want to know just how Xander is different now, and whether he can be in control some of the time. I mean, the hyena just might not want to give back the control!
The reaction of the others, especially Spike, will also be interesting.

This is a good start, but the chapters are rather short. I'd suggest taking a little longer and write a litte more to the chapters because it's hard to get into a story when the chapters are so short.
And I hope to see the next chapter of "Spelled Mate" up soon. XD
