Wow. This is really extraordinary. I'm usually a terrible lurker and I never (no, like, NEVER) leave reviews, but I have to say your grasp of these characters is spot-on, and I'm floored by your ability to juggle so many distinct personalities and histories with what seems like completely natural ease. Possibly my favorite Buffy fic I've ever read. Hope you continue writing.

This is one of the most engaging stories I've read in a while. It?s very well written, well crafted, from the tone, pacing, dialogue, characterization (that rings so beautifully true, btw), to the spelling, syntax, and spacing. Your care is greatly appreciated; it makes this such an easy read.
When this story was first posted, and was left at part seven, I was actually quite pleased with what I took as the ending to a beautiful, angst ridden story. I?m way stoked that this has been continued, and I love that you?ve lost none of the melancholy tone. I love every interaction between Buffy and Faith, and I love the humor laced into the storyline.
I won?t go on forever here, but I appreciate that Buffy was the first to speak the words, to actually say rape, and acknowledge the severity and not downplay it as the effects of a spell. And, that that the act of violence itself, in the alley, was left understated and not glorified makes me love this fic even more. I love that the effect is blatantly described though: Faith left disheveled and lying unconscious in a pool of her own blood, Willow being blinded by tears as she struggles to heal Faith, Dawn weeping at her bedside. I was rather stricken by that image of Willow.
I?m happy Buffy is back. It?s so nice to see her reactions to Faith. I?m rather intrigued by this connection and Buffy?s jealousy. It?s almost funny and sad at the same time.
I noticed that updates were posted in large doses initially, but have subsequently dropped in frequency. Please feel free to send me any and all unpublished chapters to this story. *Smiles* Sorry for not having given FB previously, but I'm slow and prefer to send private emails. Your email isn?t listed?
Anyhow, I like that Faith came to Buffy?s rescue once, and I hope to see Buffy repay the favor.

Oh wow. What an excellent story. And you say you're a newbie fan fiction writer and you came out swinging with that one?? GRAND SLAM, I tell ya! You've got the characters down perfectly, from thoughts to dialogue, and the storyline is tight. Real tight. There's tons of suspense and sexy interaction between our two Slayers, and I just can't get enough of it. I really can't. I look forward to many more chapters -and hopefully many more Fuffy stories - from you. Great work, Pencil Neck. Really, REALLY great work.
