I don't know how I feel about this one. I guess even with all the violence I thought this was becoming a love story. Between master and slave yes but still love. This just seemed to have no other point than to show Spike's mean streak but we were already aware of it through the entire story. It's as if Xander means nothing to Spike. If that is true then it would most likely break him and not in a good way. That way leads to desperate acts that usually lead to death which I hope is not the point of this story as I don't like death fics all that well.

I came across this a while ago and i loved it then, and i just recently rediscovered it and i still love it. I am also glad to see updates. I am looking forward to more.

Thing is I love Xander Stories and I usually like Spike/Xander stories. I actually expect Spike to be dominate to Xander's submissive. Well written D/S stories are great to read. My problem is I don't really care for the S&M part of the BDSM stories. I don't like to read about my favorite characters being mistreated and whipped until they bleed. Nor do I care for humiliation that is really just cruel. I know that should also be expected with a Vampire as the dominant, but that is still the part of the stories that bother me. I guess I am a sucker for the sweet and happy ending, which doesn't really jive with vampire, does it?

I really love this story - I check latest stories most days just to see if this one has been updated (a bit sad I know)! I especially love the way you have kept the characters faithful to their originals, just can't wait to see (or should that be hear?) Xander finally admit that he loves Spike and the life they have together - then again Spike should probably admit that too. Please keep the updates coming, I'm sure you still have loads of readers who are loving this story. Thank you!!!
