I am so confused and frustrated right now I could cheerfully throw my tablet out the window!
First, this is an absolutely fascinating story. Your writing is wonderful. Characterization, spot o . I can easily see S & X ending up in this situation. Their pain is so real my heart just aches for them. The plot is amazing - intricate and well-crafted. The OC's are wonderfully real and fjt into the B-verse seamlessly.
So, here I am, on the edge of my seat... What next? Greg *isn't* the baddie? Xander's gone? WTF??????
Spike and Ben are working together, cards on the table -
Where did the whole Jesse thing come from?
They're on a hellmouth?
An AN saying the story is done. Left open for bits-n-bobs.
Did I miss something - like, oh, a resolution? Eight or ten chapters? I saw lots of UST, friendship, h/c, no Spander, though. Certainly no NC-17 of the S/X variety.
Really, did I miss something? Have I lost my mind?

Ok. Followed the link from spanderfiles. Thanks for that. I always love your work. And stayed up way too late reading because it is soooo good. And IT'S DONE TIL CHAPTER 34!!!!!!? AAARRGGGHH! I respectfully beg for more! Great characters, wonderful twists, intricate story lines! Loving it!

So I don't normally review stories I read here. but then again, I don't usually read through whole stories. especially not in one sitting.
I actually came to check out the Angel(us)/Spike stories...but decided to click Spike/Xander because there were just so many more stories in that category. O_O
Truth Denied seemed interesting, and the beginning really caught my attention, so I kept reading.
I haven't slept all night, and I REALLY should go to bed. But I just HAD to stay up and finish reading everything that I could!
I absolutely adore Truth Denied. The Authors portrayal of both Spike and Xander is absolutely stunning. It's so easy to picture them in my mind because of how much they just, sound like them!
It's almost like watching a new extension of the series. Everything is just worded so beautifully that putting images to everything isn't even a slight challenge.
I LOVE feeling like I get to watch these characters 'live' again. I've often lamented the fact that I can't watch any new episodes of Buffy...
but reading through this story has REALLY made me feel that connection to the characters once again.
