wow buffy just cuts straight to the chase dont she lol

Ouch! Good ending there! As for having things move along more quickly and smoothly, I wont complain much about how Xander seemed to let her explanation pass easily - and also, given the circumstances of rape, I think anyone would be a little thrown when considering all the facts. Next chapter seems to be a pretty big confrontation! I cant wait :) I wonder if Giles is going to send for Angel to stop by or if somehow the big bad broodyness will find out for himself? What kind of spin would that put on this? /ponders

Anyways, a good chapter like usual. You're getting ground covered with the key plot members and all their issues are coming together. The next chapter, if feelings are out in the open on both sides, might be difficult unless you pull in some other conflict - unless you're pulling it all together to end it already. It feels like the story is stalling out, which works if it's coming to an end, but if it's not then it needs something more. I dont exactly know WHAT right now (it is YOUR story afterall), though as Kurt Vonnegut said about writing, "Be a sadist. Now matter how sweet and innocent your leading characters, make awful things happen to them -- in order that the reader may see what they are made of."

I'll stop babbling! :) I hope you can write more soon, but I definitely understand about all the writing blocks - school, social life, lazyness...writers block! etc. Joo can dooo it! I'll be waiting, woo!

Can I assume things are going to get much worse before getting better? Xander could really cause some issues here! Really though, that was a nice chapter for reflection and I was really happy to see the Buffy / Riley confrontation. Hopefully everything will come to a head soon with lotsa actiony angsty goodness? :) Continue on with the lovliness that is your writing! I still miss agressive!Buffy though, but this is fanfiction, ne? Tickle that muse for more inspiration to write! Would love to see more soon.

I'm so glad to see updates! I stopped checking for a while just so that the next time you updated, I'd have more than one chapter to read, hehe. I'm very very glad that Spike got his revenge, even though I think Riley deserves a bit more... but from people he thinks are on his side, ya know? Just my opinion though. The last chapter was handled nicely with Buffy's confusion on the whole "grey area" subject which she's always had difficulty with, but I miss her ferocity and stubborness. I don't think she shouldn't have a change of heart for Spike, I just think she should be more explosive in her reactions, because that's just how she rolls. Otherwise I'm really glad you brought in Xander, since he always adds extra drama and misunderstandings doesn't he? :) I hope to read more soon!

I like where you've gone with this. Harmony needed some depth! Post more when you can!

Sorry to hear that you lost a reader. I personally love this story. I began reading it on spuffy realm then found it here when I came to check on another story and just continued it here. anyway babbling. I couldn't agree with you more about Spike not going up to Riley and saying "hey it's ok. You raped me, I forgive you. No hard feelings." That isn't the Spike that we all know and love. I mean look at the grudge and tension between him and Angel that has lasted for a hundred and more years. He still truly hasn't forgiven him, so what makes a reader think that within less then 24 hours he will forgive Riley. If he had did that it would be out of character, and that is one thing with fanfiction that I have a love hate relationship with. Some authors bend the characters to their way of thinking instead of staying true to who they were in the series. And that to me while it can make the story enjoyable... sometimes, it just doesn't grab me the way one that follows the characters emotional growth, and their overall personalities. But it is nice to see what others think. Anyway abbling again. Just wanted to say that I think you have done a great job with this story so far, and I can't wait to see how it continues, especially with Buffy now knowing that Spike feels more then just a love to hate you cause your the slayer feelings for her, and the fact that it was told to her by Harmony.
