Ok, all I have to say is: more, more, more!!!!
I just started reading it and I already can't get enough of it. It's a great story. And I love they way the Victorians are characterised, their time and rules and the way Buffy handels it.
Just love it!

I just read all 10 chapters tonight and love your story! Very creative and well written. Can't wait to read more!

Gack! This is a lovely piece of fiction. It's got everything I like, mixed in a new and fresh way: Buffy in an AU setting that isn't really AU at all, cute William (gah! I just want to give him a hug.), modern concerns in a Victorian setting... You're characters are wonderfully multi-dimensional; kudos for not simply relying on people knowing the show to know the characters. You've given them a depth that is both complimentary to canon and tailored to suit this work in particular. I am very interested to see how you treat William's becoming a vampire, especially in his relationship to his mother. Really, I just can't say enough good things about it. I know that many readers don't review, but know that you have at least one reader who is utterly transfixed!

P.S. I love your historical details, like Boxing Day. Not enough to feel like a history lesson, just enough to show Buffy's adjustment and give the work a feel of accuracy. :)

Awwwww he is so sad, bad Buffy, bad!!! I really love that you update so quickly but my heart goes out to William, he's so obviously taken with Buffy and she is being a bitch!! HAve her make it up to him!! Please? I love this...

Please don't stop writing this story. I actually just discovered it and started reading it this week, and I love it! The concept of Buffy having to learn about the human Spike, the man who came before the vampire, is engrossing, and you are writing it wonderfully. I'd love to give constructive criticism...just can't think of anything!
